My friends got take out from here and because I was late, the food got a bit cold. I was looking for comfort food, so I ordered the pork chops. Maybe my pork chop was a little dry, but put together with roasted potatoes and broccolini, it was a nice package for dinner. There were a few other dishes in the menu that drew my interest, too. Just got served a $18.00 glass of wine. Really. It was a local WA wine. Happy hour was only $14.00 a glass? Wow. I can buy a whole bottle of decent wine from a local wine store for that price. Plus a tip. Staff attitude was hey, if ya can't afford it? Go someplace else. Do they think that locals are all rich? Rip us all off. It's time to stand up and say. The service, vibe and food is top notch. Fresh, vibrant, beautiful presentation. Loved how the chef comes out to talk to the patrons. We could tell the locals frequent and enjoy each other's company, drinks, food and the game regularly. We had the tapas appetizer which was our fave! Hummus topped with a lovely olive tapenade, pickled cauliflower, onion and fennel, cucumber and carrot slices, red and green peppers. The most beautiful charcuterie board presentation. Just perfect. Ordered lunch here one day as my office is right around the corner. Got something super simple - the chicken chop salad and a cup of their carrot soup. It amassed to a $22 lunch NOT including taxes and fees applied for ordering takeout. No biggie since I expect to pay more when ordering out; however, the quality of what I got was disappointing. For a full sized salad (half sized was only $4 less), I got what looked like should have been a half sized salad (allllllmost large starter/app size). All was thrown into a box, sort of half-assed arranged, but the ingredients used were nothing spectacular. Romaine lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced egg, 2 slices of avocado, no cucumber, a few cheese crumbles, tiny container of dressing and chicken that...well, appeared and tasted pre-made by some mass producing cooked chicken plant. No grill marks, a bit oddly textured...yeah not so much a fan. The soup was pretty decent - a little sweet. The size (picture small restaurant soup cup container) was less than what I'd expect for $6 (and fees to take out). Given the presentation, wasn't compelled to take photos - while not my favorite, not entirely awful or anything. Just meh. Service a bit strange - walked in to a completely empty restaurant to and had to do the "creen the neck and yell hello" thing. Then I got the "oh yeah here's your order" thing. Maybe I forgot another tacked on fee for the order coercing some semblance of "hey thanks for trying us!" when picking up my own food? (Ok, that was snarky...but geez.) Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing? Perhaps I got the wrong chef? Perhaps it was an off day? May try again in the future and update my review. read more

The chef and bartender go above and beyond to ensure your experience is nothing short of spectacular, rotating items seasonally to keep it fresh and classy. Vegetarian options are available and some customization is allowed. During Covid-19, they set up a tent outdoors to be able to serve tables per state quarantine guidelines. The heated set up is still cozy and inviting, especially if you are a tried and true PNWesterner. Ample parking is another plus of this hidden gem. read more

Husband and I had a nice date night here. Food board with specials (including a yummy cocktail), the celery root veloute was creamy and delicious. We also had the shrimp lettuce tacos, so light and fresh! A great start to the meal. The bread was a bit too pricey, $7 for a couple slices with butter and pesto. My husband's main was chicken parm, he said it was good. My wild boar fettuccine was way too salty. I didn't feel like bringing it up and waiting while my husband ate, but the service was great and I'm sure they would have rectified the situation bad I brought it up. The dessert was probably my favorite. Chocolate cake that seemed homemade and strawberry ice cream that was definitely homemade. We will definitely be back! read more

I called Becky (Catering Director) last week in a panic because my boss decided to let me know they were having a foreman's meeting the next day and they would need food for over 30 people. Although she had another event the following day, she jumped through hoops and got it done. Chef Adrian worked his magic and prepared a full menu including Chicken Marsala, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Broccoli, Salad, and Garlic Bread. Hard to believe how weak the food scene is in western Washington. $27 for chicken parmigiana and they couldn't even give you a slice of bread to go with it. Overrated big time don't waste your time. This place is a hidden gem!!!! One of my favorite restaurants in the whole area. I've gone to Carmines in Bellevue, Ascend Bellevue, Metropolitan grill Seattle, AQUA by ElGaucho Seattle and many more but this is still my favorite. The food is always amazing.
