My experience here was delightful. Our waitress was very kind and explained how you order and the amount of food that you received was just completely a full serving. Our party had different sea food, boils, and catfish. The price of their delicious food is very affordable. I most definitely will go back and make this one of my staple rests. Minor investments in signage, matching plates, all metal utensils, better lighting And all working TV will take the indoor decor up a bit. The inside has to match the prices. Stopped in for a quick lunch with my daughter and were greeted immediately and sat. There were only maybe about 4 more tables in the restaurant and it took our server about 10 mins to greet us and get our order. She never brought our drinks which were just water and tea. After she brought our food I had to ask for our drinks again, she then got an attitude. We opened our bags and one of the plates of seafood was still FROZEN!! We let our server know of which she snatched the plate, brought it back a couple minutes later to sling it on the table. She was very rude. When check came, she tried to overcharge for my platter of food. Also, cold plate was still on the bill. Feel like I should not need to request it to be removed when served frozen seafood. First time here and we were super hungry! We both ordered Royal lobster special that had lobster, crab and shrimp. Too bad we had to wait for over an hour to get our food. It is well seasoned and spiced appropriately. The hush puppies and corn nuggets are good, too. I love the Cole slaw, it's perfectly creamy, sweet, and vinegary. One of our favorite apps/sides is the pasta. It tastes just like the seafood boil, but over pasta. Everyone goes crazy over it. Their fried shrimp basket comes with a lot of shrimp over a big basket of fries. The servers are always very, very sweet. Most times they've been consistent and the food and drinks come promptly. The last time we went it took about 45 minutes to get our food, but that's not the norm. The only con I'd say is that they could clean the drink special card that is on the table. The restaurant was clean and welcoming I ordered my usual when i come to places like this.. a pound of snow crab, extra potato, corn and in their sauce specific to the location. The boil bag came out quickly although there was not a lot of sauce in the bag it did have good flavor. The potato's were a little undercooked, i usually like them on the harder side but some of these were too hard and a couple were too soft .. the corn was cooked perfectly. The crablegs were good! We came across this restaurant by accident last night but decided to check them out. What I loved the most about our visit was the customer service!!! Our server was very attentive, provided helpful information, made sure we had refills , and continued to check up on us during the time we were there. We never felt rush even after they were beginning to close up and my daughter had to go to the bathroom. I appreciate that the multiple TV's they had in the building the were also showing kid shows for the littles to help keep them entertained while waiting for the food to arrive. Finally came in for a boil. Reading the mixed reviews on the boils I was ready to give it a go and check it out for myself. My first experience a few months back was ok but tonight made me a fan. I chose the daily special of snow crab legs, shrimp, sausage and potatoes with the juicy sauce hot level. This is one below their hottest and was perfect for me. Their juicy sauce is a mix of all their sauces all in one. Sooo good! I also added a pound of blue crabs as I wanted to try those too. My bag came out and the waitress put it all on the stainless steel platter. I was so excited I started digging in on the shrimp, sausage, and corn. I then went for the blue crab and noticed I didn't get any snow crab. I let the waitress know and she resolved the minor issue quickly. The snows didn't make it into my pic but they were huge. The blues were relatively small and while the bodies were good, the claws aren't worth the hassle at that size. I did what I could. It I did save them for last. Really fun location, service was good and parking was easy. It is the same concept as Juicy Crab that has been so popular lately. First off, I love crab. Second, I really love crab. Some of my favorite memories growing up were sucking crabs at family dinners. Sometimes those crabs were caught by us, but sometimes our crab skills were weak and we had to buy some on our way home. If we had to buy some, we never told anyone, so as far as they are concerned we are great crab fishermen. I got the dub genius crab with shrimp and my wife got the same. BIGGGG SIGH !!!! And the kicker here was, they were not busy at all. Folks, if you only saw the fumes coming out of my COVID-19 compliant mask, you would have assumed that I was Vaping underneath it. I wanted to cry, only because I was sooo Hangry. This was lost time and frustration that I will never able to regain back again EVER. Fast forward.. I'm at home, ready to dig in. I ordered the Juicy-Hot (Juicy which is all seasonings combined; Hot being the spice level). My food was just Meh, there were no spice at all. Where was all the ooomf??? Where's the heat??? Can you believe I had never been to one of these Crab boil places!?! We had to fix that last night! My thoughts on them before going last night was expensive, messy, not enough food. Now after going and seeing this whole experience my thoughts are ok the price is a little high but better then what I was thinking, my snow crab legs, shrimp and sausage boil was around $25 and was enough to share with my little one. My friend got a dozen raw oysters and they were like freakishly big, and mild tasting. The messy part was true, you can't eat this food and be graceful, by the end I was covered in garlicky greasyness everywhere!! My friend told me I had to get the "Juicy sauce" which is a combination of all their sauces...oh Lordy this was the right call delicious!! I was worried it would be too much but it tasted great! Picked up dinner here for my mom's birthday yesterday. I ordered the bacon wrapped scallops. They were terrible. All 3 of us love scallops but could not eat them. My husband will eat ANYTHING and told me to throw them away. Not worth $25 at all. My husband got he fried catfish and was not a fan. This place is not super close to us so we were not interested in calling to return anything. The positive part of this is I ate broccoli, corn, and rice for dinner ( the sides).
