My wife and I were visiting our son in Addison and I found this place from reading reviews. We decided on an early Saturday dinner and glad we did. No wait at 4:30 but when we left at 6pm there was probably a 20 minute wait already. The smells when you walk in remind me of New Orleans. The music is just a bit loud but I think it attracts that crowd in the weekends. Our waitress was friendly but did seem rushed a bit. She was pretty good about checking on us though. We started with the calamari and I have to say it was really good! They seasoned everything batter well!! My wife and I each picked a solo bag for dinner. I got the 1/2 lb crab legs, 1/2 lb mussels and 1/2 lb shrimp. They give very healthy portions and it tasted great! My wife got the same thing except no mussels and a little more crab legs. We came in 4th of July weekend and they had red,white &blue margarita flights. So good and strong. Then we had the catfish and it came with 4 big pieces of fish and some good Cajun fries. I had the sack #1 (crab, shrimp, mussels & corn and potatoes). Price was good, flavor great & hot and fresh. The bartender was Sean was amazing! He went above and beyond all evening. Stopped by thinking we had made the happy hour but apparently the hours were not advertised correctly and we tended to show up earlier than wanted. The location is large, ample seating and back side parking, the crowd did trickle in. The staff were friendly, and the environment was clean. Our waiter was so kind and very attentive, would definitely return on that alone. Now to get to the main part my partner and I order the #3 with added on 1/2lb sausage, 1/2lb snow crab leg, and 2 boiled eggs. Overall, with 2 cocktails we evened out about $100. I will add we've spent this amount money and more at other seafood boil spots and had less food. Just for us to each get a cluster of crab alone was a major plus. We chose the medium Cajun spice, I could have gone hotter in heat but this did build and was good. The seafood was fresh, I felt some of the shrimp weren't to my liking but these did have the heads on and were not deveined and that can change the taste. The sausage is flavorful and not spicy or overly salty, best version I've had to date. We had leftovers and were very appreciative to finally getting our bang for our buck. The seafood smell did not linger, just adds on to it being fresh seafood, however, loved having the gloves, apron, bucket, and lemons on standby to keep our area and ourselves not a complete mess as we ate! I normally do not order frozen drinks (wasn't aware it came this way before order), but I did enjoy my hurricane, not overly sweet, next time I'll order it as a regular cocktail. I want to gatekeep this place so bad, but then it won't stay open for the remainder of my life. Please come here and spend some time and really get messy with your food. It's so beautiful and juicy I can't have seafood anywhere else anymore. It literally makes me wonder why on God's green Earth id ever go to Red Lobster or someplace stupid. I am a regular of (going on) about 3 years at this place. The food is a great option if you are in the mood for a quick seafood boil in north Texas. However, for my last 3 visits, the bartender Keia's (unsure if that is the correct spelling of her name) has been exceptionally rude. To the point where she is cursing at customers, rolling her eyes, and making it apparent that she does not care to be at work. It's such an uncomfortable experience for someone who is spending their funds and just wanting to get a good meal. I've given it the benefit of the doubt since I do really like this place. But after today, I will never return. The portions are also much smaller than before, while the prices have increased. If this business intends to succeed, they must explore either correcting her behavior or hiring a new bartender. Several others have had similar experiences and it truly does suck. read more

The seafood boil is terribly salty. I was only able to eat half my boil, and by the time I left the roof of my mouth was raw and had skin abrased away from the sodium chloride levels. Wouldn't be surprised if I could float in it. I was told it was normal for seafood boil to be salty, but this seems a bit too much. Maybe this is normal though, it was my first time getting seafood boil. Also, the sausages disapointed me. I was excited for those sausage links that have a snap to them (like you see online) but instead got cut up hotdog sausages instead (it felt/tasted like hotdog sausages..) Furthermore, I asked for scissors twice and was instead routed to a stick both times. The stick had limited functionality, a scissor would have been better. The crab shell gave way more often than not so it was hard to snap the legs while keeping the meat intact. Scissor would have been better.. The sir bringing out my food was nice though. So I decided to come after my sisters told me about this spot. I decided to give a try to a bit of the items on the menu. I order for myself the Fried Catfish Basket. Well to be honest the breading really has no flavor but the fish itself was good. There Cajun fries are good as well. I then order some crab legs with some headless shrimp. This place would get 10 stars if i could add it to! The crab was fresh and juicy, the all in one sauce was delicious and the pina colada was just what i needed. I also added lobster to my boil which i didn't like but i think i just don't like lobster. Anyway, my friend got a catfish poboy and they loaded that mf up with fish filets ! My daughter loves seafood boils so I decided this was the perfect place to have her birthday dinner. We arrived and things were a little rocky upon entry because how are we to know wait for the hostess if she's not at her post. Anywho once those details were worked out we were seated and our waiter came. We placed our drink and appetizer orders and reviewed the menu. The wings and mozzarella sticks were just ok nothing to brag about, but the calamari was really good as were the onion rings. Everyone placed their orders and I must say I was impressed by how quickly our food was prepared considering our party size. I had the catfish basket add shrimp it lacked a little seasoning but was fried perfectly and the dipping sauces made up for the seasoning. Everyone else ordered seafood boils and there were absolutely no complaints whatsoever. They all raved about the "Juicy Special Sauce", crab clusters, shrimp and my grandson loved the eggs, corn and potatoes. Overall this place met all our expectations it was clean, bathrooms exceptionally clean and the birthday girl was happy!
