Our son asked to visit Red Crab before shipping out for the next 3 months. Service was excellent and we even enjoyed the robotic server that brought our food to the table and sang happy birthday to other guests - an interesting and fun surprise. We ordered the Snow Crab Party Tray and added an extra snow crab cluster. There was plenty of food for 3 of us and we took home leftovers. The snow crabs were very good as were the shrimp. One of my favorite things is the daily specials -- you can actually get them anytime, not just on a specific day, which makes it even better. When I arrived, there was a huge line outside--which was already a red flag. Still, I assumed having a reservation meant I wouldn't have to wait. Wrong. I went to the hostess stand, gave my name, and was shocked when she told me I had to stand in line with everyone else--even though I had a confirmed reservation. What's the point of making a reservation if you still have to wait in a line of 25+ people just to get inside? This is completely unacceptable, especially on a special night like Valentine's Day. If the restaurant was overbooked or running behind, they should have communicated that beforehand. Instead, they left customers standing outside in the cold, making reservations worthless. The entire experience was poorly managed, chaotic, and frustrating. If you're looking for a restaurant that respects its customers' time, this is NOT it. This restaurant was "Official" ! First of all this place is inside the Palisades Shopping Mall in West Nyack, New York . Located on the top floor next to the AMC movie theater so parking is not an issue. As soon as you walk in it has great music playing and TVs everywhere. I requested them to put on the Yankee game and they obliged. They took our order right away it came out hot on a robot and the waitress followed behind. My drinks were on point and the dessert was slamming.
