My kids and I like to stop by Red Cup before heading down to the beach. We haven't had breakfast or lunch here, but enjoy their selection of pastries. Absolutely loved this place. Brought my husband to mukilteo for a day at the beach and some exploring and found this gem. It's adorably decorated and has a great cozy vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and chipper (which is a great indicator of how they like their job) and the service was outstanding. We ordered the camano sandwich which is tuna (it was so good with lots of onions) and we were asked if we were splitting it. So they brought it to our quaint outdoor table cut in half in separate baskets with our own bags of chips. So sweet! Oh, and we got an iced breve latte with almond and it was delicious. We can't wait to go back. They are popular so know it may be crowded. We went on a Wednesday around 12 and it was 2/3 full. read more

I spent a long weekend in Seattle visiting some friends from college. My one "must do" was a tour of the Boeing factory (yeah airline employee!) and after a late morning tour, we were starving. My friends moved to Redmond a couple months prior and hadn't found a good sandwich place yet. So, based on the yelp reviews, we decided to stop here. It was a beautiful day and they have a lovely patio on which to eat, overlooking the sound. They were out of a few items, which is pretty understandable for a small diner. They loved their sandwiches and were admonishing the fact that they lived so far away. My bagel was tasty and the drinks were good. This is such a cute shop in a great neighborhood. Five of us on a weekday at 4pm. Lattes, lemonade and hot chocolate steamer...with a massive cinnamon bun. A lovely place. Whoever put a 2 dollar sign for price is way off. It's definitely a one. The good: 1. Very nice interior and exterior, warm colors, nice decor, very homey. 2. Nice girls working the bar. 3. All drinks were good and reasonably priced. 4. The view is great and location up the street from the ferry dock. The not so good: 1. Parking is a little tough but doable. 2. Rather than have one giant table in the middle of the seating area they could fit three more smaller tables for more individual parties. Granted... if it wasn't freezing cold and winter time outside the outdoor tables would solve that problem and be fantastic. read more

This place is great. The atmosphere is welcoming and it's a great place to with with family or friends. There's a lot of seating outside and, if it's a nice day out, you get a beautiful look at the Puget Sound. The plants are a gorgeous green and obviously taken care of. Don't let the wooden statues fool you! I walked past them thinking they were real people. The waitresses are nice and others visiting the cafe are respectful too. The inside seating can get crammed but again, the atmosphere is friendly. The BLT Caesar wrap is more than satisfactory when you're hungry. The bacon is cooked to a crisp perfection, the Caesar isn't too overwhelming and the wrap itself is very soft (and not bulky like other places). I highly recommend coming here. read more

Wow, this place is a rare gem. We had an amazing experience today. My family was visiting from Texas, and the lady (I think maybe owner?) who helped was amazing, sweet, and so welcoming! We all got bagel sandwhiches and coffee. First of all, the bagels are the best around. So fresh and love all the choices. The bagel breakfast sandwhiches were delicious. We also got a cold brew, vanilla latte and white chocolate mocha. All our drinks were delicious and we all agreed it was the best coffee we've ever had. The place has seating inside and outside. You can view the water from both. The place is so charming. We are so happy we found it and will be back soon! read more

This is such a cute little spot with ample seating both indoor and out. Overlooking the mukilteo bay, it's a gem! The food is delicious and a big reason to go. Great selection of sandwiches and breakfast food. Inside is a really cute diner/cafe vibe. Down the hill to the new Mukilteo ferry is the cozy dog friendly Red Cup Cafe. I was there on a super busy Saturday morning and the staff was not at all stressed. Fantastic mocha and croissant sandwich made my ferry wait less painful. There is a lot of outdoor seating as well, it is definitely THE SPOT for breakfast close to the ferry, hands down delightful on a lazy weekend. read more

We absolutely adore the Red Cup Cafe. It's walking distance from our house and it's our go-to place whenever we have visitors in town. The staff is super friendly and their Chai Tea is by far my favorite of anywhere else. They are just the greatest little local spot. Given the current COVID-19 situation, I highly recommend still ordering to-go from them. They are able to even bring you your food/drink right to your car. It's well worth it, especially if it helps them recover during these difficult times. We LOVE you Red Cup Cafe! read more

Went here for breakfast this morning and ordered the bacon breakfast bagel with Swiss. It was toasted perfectly and was a step up from any McDonald's fare I've had. The coffee was also very good. Every time I go to Red Cup I get the warmest welcome! It used to be owned by Whidbey coffee, but one of the managers bought it a few months ago and changed the name. The first thing I noticed under the new management was a higher level of customer service. There are no messy tables, and the food gets out super fast. Under very few circumstances will I go somewhere that I have to pay $10 for a single sandwich on two slices of bread like my mother used to make me to take to school in my lunch pale, but I came here with family. Let me just set it straight and say that for $10 I wouldn't ever care to come back here, but it was a cool little place and the sandwich was pretty tasty. I had the Taos, which was a turkey sandwich with cream cheese and a sweet green chili sauce on sourdough bread. They definitely had the bread perfectly toasted, fresh crisp lettuce, and the cream cheese complemented the green chili sauce very nicely. I just wouldn't pay $10 for it. The restaurant is a cool little environment, VERY hipster, but cool. We sat outside because it was a beautiful sunny day and had a great view of Puget Sound. read more

What a great little cafe. Small menu, but big value. I had a turkey sandwich with pepper jack cheese on wheat. What a great hearty sandwich. The bread was soft and fresh and the rest of the fixings were fresh and tasty. Serves with chips and a soda from the cold box. The people were super nice and that goes for the people eating there as well. I hope to get back to try the Red Cup again. Wish I could love this place, but the service and product just wasn't anything special. It seems charming, quaint & cute, and let's be real, any small local business is in small towns like Mukilteo. But the experience of waiting to order, ordering, repeating the order multiple times, waiting again, reminding them after some time ( as they forgot) , and then waiting again, all for dry sandwiches and pastries, was disappointing. They had three employees, it wasn't busy, (just me and another order) so I just couldn't tell why it was disorganized. Hope to try them again, but for now, it wasn't positively memorable~ read more

This is a very cute and welcoming little coffee shop, feels very cozy and a great place for studying. They have a beautiful view of Puget sound and the ferry, and a lot of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. The mocha they made me was above average. However, when I went to the bathroom I noticed a hole in the door at about toilet eye level! I mentioned it to the barista and suggested they at least put some tape over it while waiting to get it fixed, but he kind of laughed it off and seemed annoyed. He implied the door has been broken like this for a while. In short, this place is great for chatting over coffee with friends, but not if you need to pee. read more

This little cafe is run by super nice people, has nice nautical views of the sound, is in a cozy area of Mukilteo above the Ferry, and has nice outdoor seating options. On a recent visit, I went with the quinoa burrito and it was pretty darn tasty; had a mocha with it. One of the stars of the show were the pink cookies though! Well I've been here before but forgot to write about it - it was good when I went that time. However, when I arrived today and ordered a mocha and cinnamon roll I found disappointment. I'd already been disappointed earlier in the day at another restaurant. I was looking for a little piquant food to make up for my earlier disappointment. For those of you who are thinking of going to the dictionary that means delicious. I had remembered the previous cinnamon roll I had gotten my first time. So, there I stood ordering a mocha and cinnamon roll. When it arrived I found myself going back and asking her to heat it - I don't know I don't mind eating cold cinnamon rolls but when they feel like they just came out of the refrigerator I'm thinking no. When they arrived (my friend was with me) they were slightly warm and I felt like I had to talk my teeth into staying in my mouth. They were very sugary - I'm not sure what caused that but well I was disappointed. I'll be back because I do like there coffee and I have had one other good experience. Yes, the view is wonderful and the ambiance is funky and fun ... the staff members are friendly and everything seemed clean. But I only went in there for one thing: an ice-cold chai to cool me down on a very hot day. When I got it, it was just ok. Not my favorite chai, pretty heavy on the anise flavor ... but everyone has different opinions on that point. My big issue was that they used a powdered chai flavoring and didn't manage to get all that powder dissolved ... so I was crunching on sandy bits of tea powder, and since it was iced, they never would dissolve no matter how much I stirred. It was a major disapointment. I may go back but I might not, next time I'll probably check out Diamond Knot's new coffee stand/window. read more

This place is a gem! They were so helpful with my dietary restrictions and went out of their way to read the ingredients of my chai latte without me even asking. I made the mistake of ordering the latte thinking it was dairy free but the barista came out to my table to discuss and offer another option. Usually having to be gluten free and dairy free I am nervous about ordering but they made me very comfortable. I will be back, this is my new spot! Plus they had hemp milk, which I'm obsessed with. I am sitting here at the cutest place ever. OMG. it's early March, and it's packed inside. there are 2 larger tables in here that are both taken up by really cute people having meetings or some-such. I was lucky enough to get here at a time where I can have a small table all to myself, right by the window with a great view!! I am from seattle and needed to get out of town to study. I will DEFINITELY be coming here again. (and, I cringe thinking of this place in the summertime - it's gotta be nutso). but anyway - the staff are super friendly, helpful, attentive, and cute in a homey sort of way. the atmosphere inside is all cozey and warm-fuzzy-like. it's a tad bit too loud, but that's mostly because I'm trying to study - obviously, easily solvable with headphones. I had a soy chai that was delish. I'll probably eat something later, too, I just couldn't wait to rave about this place. a note: I had seen earlier reviews about a lack of power outlets so my laptop is fully charged so I don't have to deal with that issue. another note: there are 2 even more amazing tables that look cozier than mine, but I feel uber guilty about being a single person and taking up one of these tables. another note: no one else come here.
