If you want to grab cookies fast this is the place for you. They have a variety of cookies they have already fresh that you don't have to wait for baking. The only thing you have to get at least a pack of 3/6... no singles. The guy that was helping us was really nice and friendly. He was good at explaining what was each cookie. Overall good experience ... check it out.

A Richmond staple! I've been coming ever since they were in the sketchy back alley. My favorites are the cookies & cream and snickerdoodle. As some of the other reviews note, the snickerdoodle is often gooey in the middle. Maybe I'm just used to it but I love it! They also have dairy milks, almond milk, and soy milk available.

Best DoorDash experience and great cookies! I love using DoorDash to experience food from the area I am in if I can not leave due to no car or something along those lines. We were visiting friends in Richmond and I was hoping to find something for dessert to share with others. I came across Red Eye Cookie. I ordered through DoorDash with no issues. It was delivered promptly and they were still slightly warm so chocolate chips were still soft and ooey gooey! The cookies were a large medium.... Is that even a size? Ha! Well I made it up and I am sure you get what I am saying. But, what is important is that they were scrumptious!!! They are definitely worth it. My favorite was the Oreo one and the peanut butter one... ok the chocolate chip was good too. The red velvet has coffee in it, made it unique for sure. They were packaged well too.

I discovered Red Eye Cookie through a quick Yelp search for dessert after having drinks down the street at Barcode. I must say, the cookies here give me life; they're much better than Insomnia. They were so good I had to go here twice during my July 4th weekend trip to Richmond. In addition to traditional cookie flavors like chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, peanut butter, and oatmeal raisin, this place also offers unique flavors like cookies & cream, maple apple walnut, and their namesake red eye (red velvet & espresso flavor.) While all their flavors are bussin', I must say that the cookies n cream were my favorite. For those of you who may not be familiar, you're only allowed to order up to a half dozen when you walk in, and any cookies beyond that you have to wait about 20 minutes for, so take advantage of their online ordering if you want to order more than six. I honestly would've waited for more cookies, but I had to get on the highway to beat that infamous I-64 traffic. Shoutout to the owner, Brayden, who let me get two additional free cookies in addition to the half dozen I bought (one for being posted on their story and another for signing up for their rewards program.) All the friends I was able to share the cookies I bought with down in Hampton Roads loved them as well. I will definetly be doing an order for a dozen to take home the next time I'm up in Richmond.

Stopped by on a whim. The cookies were excellent. My only dislike is peanut butter cookies are my favorite and they had none. I guess they are others favorites too. They were super helpful and friendly. The cookies and cream were just okay but the oatmeal raisin were OUTSTANDING as were the chocolate chip. My daughter ate the red eye and said it was okay. So I give them five stars....love them!

There are few reviews on their national shipping for cookies, so I will review it - Don't order from them because you won't receive it. I ordered two separate orders going to the same city, but different address. These were gifts however only one order arrived. I have contacted them twice about the other order and they've left all my messages on read. I basically paid $60 for six cookies. Another note, all six cookies were broken upon arrival (pro: they were very soft). However, I bet it's because they shipped the cookies in a shipping container FOUR TIMES the size of the box containing the cookies. [Attached photo for reference]. Pretty unboxing experience? Sure. Sustainable and provides protection for the cookies? No. Review of the cookies that were received, ranked from best to not-so-good [according to my sister]: Chocolate Chip: Her favorite - Has that home-made taste. The only cookie she would repurchase. Cookies & Cream (+$0.48): Interesting mix of toppings within the cookie. Snickerdoodle: Good but bland. White Chocolate Macadamia (+$0.48): Ok. Maple Apple Walnut (V) (+$0.48): The apples are super tasty and don't taste artificial! Maybe too many apples though. Red Eye Cookie: Extremely bitter, but then again she doesn't like red eyes. After purchasing these cookies, you get no visibility on the order or even confirmation that your order has been shipped. I placed the orders Monday night (Sep. 2) and one of the orders was received the same week on Friday night (Sep. 6), so I appreciate receiving that order in such a timely manner! It's 100% worth it!!! So good! It's balanced in terms of flavor. The cinnamon and sugar have a good ratio. It's not too sweet nor too spicy. The texture (I microwaved it after freezing it because I saved it) was fluffy yet chewy- the way I love my cookies whenever I'm craving carbs. The flavor and texture were just overall amazing and the cookie made me satisfied. I didn't feel too full or guilty after eating it but I was happy with my decision. It was enough to satisfy my midnight cravings and screamed high quality.

Red Eye is an affliction I suffer from when hanging out with boys, especially multiple boys at once, usually on late nights and weekends. But anyway. This business reminds me a lot of Insomnia Cookies, on almost every level, and it basically is a late night cookie spot where they will make you hot fresh gooey cookies. I like it a lot. And it's not as much of a national corporate chain as Insomnia so it has that advantage as well. They are dirt cheap and the service is nice. Right in the middle of the college area, so that's the clientele. They filmed the Nic Cage movie "Red Eye" in here. Or was it "Red Rock West." Does it matter.

Late night cookie place that delivers around Richmond. Can it get any better? Yes, with a glass of local milk! Whenever i'm staying in the city I have to order from them. It's the perfect large chewy cookie when you have the munchies late at night. Their red eye (red velvet) cookie is different and very tasty, and may give you a little jolt of energy. read more

These cookies are treat yourself cookies. They are warm and big. I love them so much. I have been a fan since the very first day. I love all of them except the red eye one. there is no such thing as a late night cookie place anywhere around me so I was hype when we came across this place . Just the concept of getting a fresh cookie at midnight was enough to sell me. In line we picked our cookies and I was a little disappointed when we got to the counter and were told only chocolate chip was available and everything else was a 15 minute wait. We decided to just get what was available and it was warm and delicious but a let down since my heart was set on white chocolate macadamia nut. read more

I just think it's amazing there is a place out there that delivers cookies. Red eye has huge selection of cookies all of which are amazing. Bonus though....you can even get milk delivered as well! Around always have had great service any time I've used delivery. As well as being in a timely matter. I see my self being a red eye costumer for as long as they stay in business. read more

What more can you ask when a warm cookie was delivered to you in the middle of the night? Cookies are amazing, however if you have gluten allergies please be careful with the gluten free cookies. I took the risk and ate one even with all the disclaimers that cross contamination is possible. Unfortunately, one cookie landed me in the ER from the pain. While this reaction may vary person to person, I feel that I needed to give this warning for those who can't have gluten at all. Basically eat at your own risk, which is always the case anyway for food allergy sufferers like me. My kids enjoyed the non gluten free cookies though. read more

Quick delivery (northside). Honestly, I've toyed with the idea of just ordering milk when I forget and Kroger has closed, but the cookies & cream get me every single time. Also a big fan of the snickerdoodle, peanut butter and Andes chocolate chip- but the cookies and cream is seriously out of this world. Their cookies are not that great anyway. Certainly not worth $30 for 12 after delivery charges. I wanted to support a local RVA business but they were just jerks. Never again. An hour past the stated delivery time, I get a call from their driver asking about the cross street for my apt. He said he was 10 min away. I was about to go to sleep at that point so I told him to cancel the order and refund my card. His manager called me and was completely rude on the phone. Don't bother with Red Eye Cookie Company. read more

So sad about my order! It came quickly, and my cookies and cream cookie and ice cream were delicious but the rest of the cookies were a gooey hot mess. 4 out of 6 cookies are super under cooked, practically still dough/batter. My one other chocolate chip that doesn't appear to be undercooked got stuck to one of the others and now has sticky eggy tasting dough stuck all over it. Brilliant idea! Not only are the cookies DELICIOUS, but all the employees are super friendly and personable. I've only been to pick them up so I can't speak to the delivery aspect but I am hooked. I always call ahead so that the cookies are ready when I get there. Every flavor is delicious and they even have all different types of milk to go with your cookie craving. SOOOOOOOO.......I am a foodie and I love sweets. My daughter and I are visiting from Virginia Beach and we decided to stop. This is an up and coming business and the cookies are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! People really need to understand that it takes time and patience to bake an amazing cookie so stop complaining about the time that it takes to get them delivered!!!!! Sorry fast is not an option when they have orders coming in every two minutes. I had a nice conversation with one of the co-owners (while waiting for my cookies) and he was the friendliest person you could ever meet. Anytime it's raining cats and dogs and there is a line.....you know it's good. This business is truly a gold-mine. Red Eye might be new in Richmond, but it has quickly become my favorite place to buy cookies in the city. The delivery is always prompt, and the staff is friendly. I have begun to regularly order from them and have yet to be disappointed. Occasionally, the service is slightly slower than usual, however it is still prompt. There late night service is perfect for college students or anyone looking for a midnight snack. The cookies are a nice and large size with a fair price. The cookies always arrive hot and gooey, even if the delivery takes longer than usual, the cookies are always fresh. When Red Eye first opened they hadn't quite adapted to the high quantity of orders, but they've been able to meet the demand of customers. Red Eye has been reliable and I will continue to order from them until this changes. read more

Man let me tell you about these Red Eye Cookies man!!! (*scratches neck*) These cookies aren't like the little basic Toll House cookies you've had growing up. These cookies will put an entire Girl Scouts unit to shame! These cookies my friend, are HUGE! These cookies will literally make you drool, as you open the box, while the aroma teases your fine nose hairs. AND... when you put them in your mouth, an explosion of all things sugar and spice, and EVERYTHING nice, will erupt onto your tastebuds! I love the concept. In college, out of state there was a similar place and I always enjoyed having cookies delivered late at night. I was happy to find this place when I moved to Richmond. They didn't deliver to my place at first but eventually widened their delivery range. I think they recently just expanded it again. Tried three times and the delivery times ranged from 20-30 minutes. Cookies were piping hot each time. A few of the flavors left kind of a weird taste in my mouth, kind of metallic. I noticed this each time but was fine with the classic chocolate chip. I don't need to eat these all the time but I would go back for the chocolate chip. read more

Ordered cookies, was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait time. Cool; willing to wait 15-20 minutes for a good macadamia nut cookie. At 30 minutes we were told that the cookies were coming out of oven and would take 5 more minutes. At 50 minutes we finally had our cookies and had to remind them of my milk. And as a bonus their white chocolate macadamia nut cookie was only a step above a subway cookie. :( I can appreciate they were busy, but done lie to me. Be upfront. read more

There is good signage. It's now a take out only establishment since Covid. Two table are available for outdoor seating. Most customers took their orders and walked away. Proper has a menu in the window to guide customers on choices of savory, or sweet. I wanted one of each. The man at the window was great in providing recommendations. I ordered the steak and cheese as well as the Banoffee. The preparation is already done and the man with assistant moved quickly to complete my order.
