I went in for my suit to be adjusted. the lady was adamant on not changing the length of my suit coat even though I wanted my sleeves shorter she kept pushing back. like.... Twice now I have received back garments with crushed or missing buttons after dry cleaning. Also I had a formal gown with a red wine stain. It was subtle due to dark color of the gown. No attempt was made to mark the stain, which now is set in the fabric after dry cleaning. On none of these occasions did the staff communicate to me that there was damage to items, or that the stain wasn't removed. Poor communication. Poor service. Three strikes, you're out! read more

Around the 1st of November I had taken 3 pair of pants to be shortened and altered at Red Hanger. When I picked them up, not only did they charge me over $100 the alteration on one pair was a nightmare I issued a review at that time. I was called back by a rep, giving a credit and assuring me my pants, that were incorrect altered would be mended. Now the 1st of 2025, and all I've gotten is excuses as to when this item will be returned. My wife was quoted $9.95 for a zippered jacket and skirt, ands when she picked it up they wanted to charge $27.00. She explained the discrepancy and the employee acknowledged that the employee that took the order misquoted the price. Rather than honor the price quoted, they discounted the price, but still charged $20.00. This is exceptionally poor customer service. Never will go back there again. read more

Steer clear of this "cleaner"...they don't actually clean anything. Dropped off a sheepskin rug after the holidays last year that had cat puke stains and we just opened it for the holidays only to discover it was never cleaned and the stain is exactly as it looked when we dropped it off. We also recently opened a duvet set we had previously had "cleaned". It came back with new holes and broken buttons on the pillow cases. We will not be going back to this business in the future and would suggest you look elsewhere. read more

As a past employee, I can honestly say, I did love my job. There are a few things this company classifies as. That being, they are extremely shady. I scheduled a day off for oral surgery. The day I scheduled off, I woke to a text message from Dina, whom is in HR dept. The text read; Red Hanger accepts your resignation. What? What resignation, I didnt resign. I scheduled a day off. After calling them several times, with them not answering, finally, I spoke with the manager. At which time I was informed, I had not shown up for my shift and did not call. I mentioned she is the one that scheduled me off for that day. She danced around that fact and then said the company was nothing but lies and hidden truths from higher up. Now mind you, this all happened after the fact I pissed the owner off for posting a review to the fact the cheated me out of my holiday pay for Christmas and New Years. I tried several times to speak with the owner or to payroll with no luck. Now for the kicker to me losing my job. Dina and Carol both finally told me that another employee, Katelyn, had told them I quit. Thing is, I DID NOT QUIT!! I had surgery! Needless to say, another person, not myself, can NOT LEGALLY quit for another person. They shaved off time worked from my time card, did not pay me holiday pay, and they allowed Katelyn to quit on my behalf. All of this is not legal. This qualifies them as one hell of a shady company. But live and learn. Oh and to the customers, when they loose or ruin your clothes, if ever you get reimbursed for them, it will take months if not years to collect. Good luck! I have started looking for another place to take my shirts and dry cleaning. I've had some bad experiences here. A shirt was ripped up the side about 10 inches, nothing said, no note. Business as usual. Many shirts gave come back with really bad and obvious wrinkles pressed into them. I end up re-ironing them because... well, you can't go out looking like that Maybe its because they are the only close game in town, but they need to raise their standards. read more

Thoroughly unimpressed. For such a highly rated and expensive dry cleaner, I can't believe they basically ruined my wife's wedding dress. It came back worse than it started. It still had every stain we sent it in with and it also had strange marks that looked like bleach stains. The fabric was scratchy and changed colors from a cream to a more pure white. One of the buttons was also missing. It has taken weeks for Red Hanger to finally get the dress redone (thankfully it was salvaged and I don't have to press charges for damages, but still more stress than it's worth) I'm still working on getting my refund back because for $230, the dress should have come back clean in the first place. We have used Red Hanger in North Ogden for 3.5 years. For a while, their customer service seemed very unfriendly, due to the girl at the counter. Then a new employee, who was much more pleasant was there. But our issue is with the handling of white shirts. We have taken 6 in every 2-3 weeks for the time above. When my husband went to pick them up this last time 48 hrs after they were taken in, they only had 3, saying they weren't all done. He returned 2 days later and the other 3 shirts were still missing. He then received a sheepish call 2 days after that saying the shirts had been found. It took 3 trips to pick up those shirts. He casually mentioned a price adjustment due to the many trips and hassle, but they charged full price anyway. We're not impressed with their customer service. Looking for a new cleaner. read more

Update on previous review: the manager, Carol, was very helpful and made sure that she helped get the issue with my blouse corrected. They were able to get about 90% of the stain they made removed, and the blouse is wearable again. Although they're still expensive, the pick up and delivery service is very convenient. I will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Terrible service I've experienced today. I went in with my daughter last week to have her skirt altered. However the lady who does the alteration wasn't there at the time. So I myself and the lady that works at the front measured her waist instead. Anyway..the lady that works at the front told me her skirt should be ready by today 2/7. When I came in to pick up the skirt it wasn't ready and the old lady that does the alteration told me she wasn't able to do it!! and told me it was too much for her to take off from the waist..??? WTH.. like huh??? Seriously.. It was too much for her to do the job. I told them I needed the skirt by next week and why hasn't anyone called me. I gave them my contact number so if for any reason they couldn't do it I told them to call me. No one from the company called and that made the whole situation worst unbelievable . I use Red Hanger on a somewhat regular basis. The pick up and drop off of my laundry keeps me and my family safe during Covid-19. I have a great dog that loves to sleep on our bed. Our comforter was so dirty I thought about just replacing it. I decided to schedule it for pick up in North Ogden and it was returned to me one week later. It looks like it is brand new. Second time (everyone deserves a second chance), they really messed up. First time it cost $65 for two shirts and three sweaters. A bit high in comparison to where we went prior. Took a chance on our double duvet. Had a dab of blood on the side where my husbands hand had left. They sprayed it with some toxic fluid and all it did was leave a 10" circle of stain where the fluid spread to. Stain still there. $380 duvet ruined. Won't be walking through those doors again . What an awful experience I have had with this company. Last November I took a rug in to get cleaned I called 3 different times to make sure how much it would be, they told me $30-$40 each time I called. Great! I thought.. here I was thinking I would have to spend over $100 might as well jus buy a new one.. picked it up and they charged me $177! I could of thrown the rug away and updated it instead! After trying to talk to the manager and corporate they never get back to me.. we are in April now... I picked up my rug in December. And I have called them multiple times and said they can't give me a partial refund back it has to be store credit. I told them they have lost a customer after confirming not only on the phone but in person how much it would of cost to clean my rug. Why would I want a store credit for so where I will no longer support? And they just told me they couldn't do that. Take your money else where. I would give them negative stars if I could. read more

November 29 left another voicemail and no call back November 30 finally got ahold of red hangar and the girl had no clue what was going on and had no idea where are rug is and that a manager maybe has got it somewhere. I ask so you have had it for 2 weeks and you still don't know what's going on or know where it is? I told her I want a manager to call ASAP as if they haven't done anything with it then I need to figure something else out... I expressed my frustration and how upsetting this was and she said she would call and get right back to me. She calls back and says the manager said that it was being cleaned and it would be done by the day they gave us which was December 16th. Not to worry it's handled and she apologized about what has been going on and the lack of communication. Still no call from a manger ... December 1 at 8am I received a call from a man saying that he just walked in to his office and seen are rug sitting on his counter???????? To my surprise he says he wouldn't recommend paying 140.00 to get it cleaned as the smell would not go away as it needs to be washed... and you can't get it wet because of the glue on the back... He stated he wished he got it sooner so he could have done something different and let us know are options but not sure what happened and why he just barely received it. I'm no detective but it seems like the rug was sitting somewhere and my frustration with the gal got to a manger yesterday and my rug magically appeared on this guys desk this morning???? I had two suits cleaned here. When I got them home, they appeared cleaned and nicely pressed. Upon closer inspection however, they still had dog hair on them and food particles that I could scrape off with my finger. When I came in, the two Ladies working at the time were a half wall behind the counter. They were busy with something else obviously, but their discussion with each other conveyed that they don't like working with the public. I can understand venting with your coworker, I would suggest not doing it in front of your customers however. This location was much better before they joined Red Hanger. Great work as usual by the seamstress, but my pickup experience was not the best, as the associate was unable to find my record initially. After about 15 minutes, she found it. Unfortunately, the closing of the downtown location has inconvenienced me, as it is not worth the resources to drive almost 8 miles to the North Ogden location from my residence. Pickup also is unavailable at my apartment complex. I've inquired about adding the service, but there is no management decision at this time. I will have to find a closer cleaner for convenience. I have been using this location and the one previously in North Ogden for more than 15 years. There have been more positive than negative along the way. Issues have always been corrected. I know they outsource their cleaning to another location so any negative I have for that aspect will not be found in this review. The employees have been great to deal with. Jen helped me on Saturday and she was wonderful. The respect Jen showed for her manager while on the phone dealing with a credit on my behalf was not something that I witness often. She treated me with the same respect. Employees make all of the difference. Good location, Good service, and some Great employees. read more

My wife and I have been using this Red Hanger Cleaners for several years. They have always done a great job and the employees are friendly and efficient. The best thing about this location is that they do alterations on site. I have had their seamstress, Lieu, alter my sport coats, adjust inseams, and even make Half-Zips out of sweat shirts. My wife has used her services often as well for all kinds of alteration work. I don't think there is anything she can't do well, and quick. This was the worst experience I have ever had with dry cleaning. I went to pick up multiple suits I had dropped off and they lost them in the store. They were all separated in the rack and took 30 minutes to find. The lady at the front desk told me it was my fault and that I hadn't brought in the things I said I had. After looking even longer she found them finally! I had also dropped off my wedding dress to be cleaned before the big day. They said it would take two weeks. I finally got the dress back today after 3.5 weeks. They did give me a discount but when I got the dress home there is a hole in the lace. Do not ever use red hanger in north Ogden. read more

I have been a Red Hanger customer since they took over the Your Valet North Ogden Location a few years ago. I always get the best service at this store. Jen is always friendly and helpful for all of my cleaning needs. If I have a special request or need something quickly, Jen always responds and if she can she makes it happen. In addition, alterations are done quickly and very well by Lieu. She can do just about anything. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Very unhappy!!!! Took items in to have dry cleaned for pictures... They was a day later getting back then promised and once returned I am positive the items were never cleaned....!!!!!!! My husbands pants looked like a 10 year old had done them and my shirt had a terrible stain on the front of it... RH cleaners need to CLEAN UP THEIR ACT!!!!! Last month I took in my red Eddie Bauer winter coat. When I picked it up, it was still dirty around the pockets. The manager offered to re-clean it, at no extra cost. Well, OK, but why was it not clean the first time? That came back clean, at least, after I made a second trip to pick it up. THEN I took in my daughter's college debate jacket. They successfully cleaned this last season, but this time there were little white fibers all over it - did they clean it with a rug??? I had them try again, but the strands didn't come out. No apology, no "We're sorry we ruined your garment, you won't need to pay for it," just handed it to me! (I know! HOW do they stay in business???) We are looking for a new cleaner - No More Red Hanger for me!!!! They have cleaned things in the past that were fine, but these last two experiences are such poor cleaning, and such VERY poor customer service! read more
