She said my hair is thin yet I could feel her brushing too hard and my hair breaking while she was brushing out the knots . Towards the end, while waiting for a friend to finish up... the lady I had came over and stared at us; visibly annoyed and then told us she's the last worker and she's trying to close up. I can't speak to the other workers, but the lady working in 5/16 at 6pm in the green hat... she was awful. Her attitude, eagerness to leave work, and her tone made me uncomfortable. It was so bad, I honestly suspect this business bought their reviews. I will not be returning.

I brought my daughter in for a head spa service for her birthday and she has very curly hair. When the service was finished, her hair was left with multiple matted knots, to the point that it took us over an hour at home to carefully detangle it and massive clumps of hair had to be cut out. This should never happen during a professional service, especially when working with curly hair textures. For my own service, I was not informed ahead of time that the shampoo was not color-safe, and as a result, a noticeable amount of my hair color washed out. That should have been clearly communicated before starting. Additionally, the head massage itself was extremely aggressive. Instead of being relaxing, the repeated squeezing and pressure on the top of my skull caused me to leave with a headache, which completely defeated the purpose of a spa treatment. In addition, they used gloves to give us facials causing friction and damage. They also used honey from the grocery store as a "mask". I highly doubt these ladies are cosmetologists cause the practices are not professional at all. To make matters worse, at the end of the appointment, we were asked to tip which is super rude in my opinion. Overall, this experience felt careless and unprofessional, particularly when it comes to communication, technique, and consideration for different hair types. I would not recommend this place, especially for anyone with curly hair or color-treated hair.

WHO knew technology highlighting the health of your scalp can be such a business?! The attendant sets up the massage chair and then immediately starts pre-rinsing your hair. The attendant focus on deep cleansing the scalp and removing buildup, and my hair felt really light and refreshed afterward (like 3 cycles of washing). Again, I never knew washing hair can be such an ordeal -- an hour full washing or conditioning and all while enjoying a massage service. Afterwards, they offer you a hot tea and promotion package or items that you can purchase If you're looking for something beyond a regular shampoo or haircut, this is a great spot to treat your scalp and hair. Anna did the service for my friend and she got glowing reviews as well! We didn't know it, but they had a special promotion going on in November where they added on a bunch of free upgrades to the service. Not only did we get the full 2 hour treatment, they also did advanced face massage, as well as leg and feet massage. The place is small but so incredibly cozy. There's only 2 spots so we had a private and pampered experience. It's called a head spa, but it was truly more than that. We started off with a heated eye mask and scalp massage, followed by a face and neck massage, leg massage, and then a thorough double cleanse and conditioner. My hair felt so soft and revived after the treatment. And my face felt so smooth and glowy! Truly 2 hours of bliss.
