Overrated to say the least. I was so excited to stop by Round Swamp Farm with the number of influencers that fave about it. I tried the chicken salad and it was honestly pretty bland. My friend had the turkey sandwich and it was nothing special. Someone else had an Asian chicken salad which they said was pretty flavorful. We all split the chicken tenders and I will just say- not worth the price. The workers were great and I loved the vibes of the place. A lot of great options for prepared foods. Small and cramped but you're here for good food. Produce, high quality and maybe about par for the area. The prepared foods are the draw here. We came here to pick up a spread for lunch and it did not disappoint. Portions are large and it does help make the prices seem more reasonable. I call it the market and buffet illusion. I love the variety of prepared foods, so easy to grab and go and make a picnic in the park at the beach or for a road trip. My favorites are the chicken nuggets, they're like mini chicken cutlets with a great dipping sauce that is super addictive (I think it's a combo of mayo and sweet chili sauce). And their sandwiches are very generously portioned. Yes they are pricey, but you are paying for quality. There is nothing I have gotten where I said it wasn't worth the price. I came here because of TikTok (namely Bethenny Frankel), and got the staples - chicken salad, Gazpacho and caramel sea salt chocolate chip cookies. These three items added up to $51. This place is hectic and busy, but well organized and maintained. Fresh produce can be found right outside the store. Refrigerated sections hold different types of soups, salads and sides. Hot food is located in the back of the farm stand, a freezer section holds certain items like frozen soups and sauces, and the bakery section is kind of in the middle of all the chaos. The atmosphere is giving elevated farm stand. Service was swift despite the rush, and check out was pretty painless overall. The chocolate chip cookies ($12.99 for 6) were delicious, freshly baked and perfectly chewy. The chicken salad ($16.99 for 1/2 a pound) was also well seasoned, with just the right mayo / spice / celery ratio. The gazpacho ($22) was a little bit of a let down. It's fresh tasting, but I think it could use more salt and spice. This is the kind of place I'd go to once just to say that I went. Terrible service at the East Hampton location. Went early this morning to get one of their delicious Strawberry Rhubarb pies, was told come back around 10am when the pies come out. Showed up a few minutes after 10 and they didn't have Strawberry Rhubarb which was fine...I asked a woman who works there if they were going to be making Strawberry Rhubarb pies and she said she didn't know. I asked who would know and she said "Lisa" would...her attitude was horrible and she didn't want to check if and when they would be made. I thoroughly enjoy stopping in to buy salads and chicken for the weekend. The chicken is excellent. The chicken salad is quite good, but they should add a version with dried cranberries. We have been shopping here since 1988. It was always a special treasure for us. It's now turned into something else. Somewhat of a tourist attraction. People stand out front and take photos of themselves with the store in the background. At first, we thought it was a nice thing to see people doing that. But now after watching the quality go down it is no longer the place it used to be. We ask questions about some of the prepared foods and when we take it home and are ready to eat it, we find that the persons answer was completely wrong. We have also found that what's actually inside is completely different than the ingredients listed on the cover. The other problem we have found is undercooked poultry. It used to be one location, now they have three. Maybe they have sacrificed the quality for the profit of the expanded business. Too bad. Another one slowly going down the drain. read more

Very nice farm market with a wide variety of fresh produce. They even have discounted produce due to slight cosmetic defects instead of throwing away. Was happy to see this and bought some. They have Lisa's cookies which ate delicious Tate's like cookies before they were bought out. The market also features seafood and other items not from the farm for consumers looking for groceries. They advertise their produce as "local" when all of their berries are Driscolls... the ambiance is horrendous and there is a new rancid- sickness smell in the place. The owner greets the customers whenever she's there but it does not look like there's much respect to the employees. The prepared food was delicious and there were such a wide array of options from corn salad, to lo-mein, to huge grilled shrimp, and great little munchies like granola bars and such. I adored the Mexican corn salad, the dried cherry and nuts salad, and the dishes with quinoa! Honestly though, nothing you get here will be anything short of amazing. Also, the place gets packed but the checkout process is very quick and efficient, which I appreciated because the space is too small for long lines. There are only two downsides to this place. The first downside is this place is so expensive. You can try to estimate the price of what you are getting by imagining what an item you pick up would cost, and then tripling that price. The second downside is that if you come here 2 hours before closing or later, there will be nothing left because everything sells out so quickly. Overall, definitely go to this place early and often and be sure to bring stuff back to the city for your friends, they'll love you for it! read more

As previous reviewer noted the prices are outrageous. I was just visiting for a few days, and the fruit and salads are excellent. The multiple bags of granola looked inviting, and I threw one in the basket. Of course there were no price tags or labels indicating the cost. I guess it was my fault for not paying attention, but I did not realize until I had already paid that I just spent $22 for a small bag of granola. Very mediocre granola at that. For under $7 you can get a bag of Purely Elizabeth, which in my opinion is far superior. Even the price for that was doubled it would still have been cheaper than what I paid. I get this is the Hamptons and everything is expensive, so at least put price tags on things. I don't mind paying $12 for a pint of fresh blue berries in winter, but the granola was a rip-off and the lack of price tags was deceptive at best .I think they know no one would pay $22 bucks for something like, that's why they don't put price tags on it. I hate "gotcha" tactics; bad Karma, I won't be back. read more

This place is a really great gem hidden in The Hamptons. I wish it was open all year! Their muffins are literally the best I've ever had. The produce and seafood is fresh, and the prepared meals always delicious. The only thing I think that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the pricing. I completely understand that organic, high-quality items are going to cost more...but these are restaurant prices for cold food.
