We are here nice again. Ed have earned enough points that basically are meal is free. So, here we are. It was crowded, but they found a table for us.. looking at the menu. I decided on shrimp scampi. But first soup or salad. I would have taken the salad but they had Manhattan Clam Chowder. Delicious. It was hearty. Filling. My shrimp scampi arrived for me. The shrimp were big and perfectly cooked. As always J couldn't finish it all so I'll take the rest home

It was my son's graduation, and by the time the ceremony ended, it was pretty late and not much was still open. We had already eaten dinner, so we were just looking for a place to enjoy dessert. Everything was delicious! We ordered the peanut butter sundae, brownie sundae, and Napoleon, and each one was fantastic. It was the perfect way to end such a special day. We'll definitely be back!

Seriously the best! Since my last review I have been here at least a dozen more times. Usually I visit when passing through the area and/or visiting family in the area. Once inside you have the classic diner feel just on an elevated level. Don't be scared by the parking lot. It may seem like there is a lot of cars and it may be busy, but honestly once you're inside, you really don't take notice. I appreciate the uniforms all of the servers and employees wear from what I could tell. It is all black with a red apron. Every time I've been here the service is notably amazing . They have always been hard at work and the buses are bussing those tables pretty fast to get them turned. I have not had one bad meal here. Whether it is breakfast or dinner the meals have always been fantastic! The other night I had chicken and pasta soup, and the Santa Fe chicken wrap. I almost didn't get dessert, but I was in the mood for some ice cream. So I opted for the peanut butter chocolate ice cream their fudge they use as delicious and the peanut butter hit the spot. As I am addicted to peanut butter. This Sunday itself was a decent size. It wasn't too much. It was just perfect. I wish I was local because I'm sure I would definitely eat a lot of their soup. My wrap was a pretty decent size. This place is always on my radar and a must whenever possible for me.

Stopped here on our way back home today and it was so cute! We were lucky to get a table around 12:30pm and didn't have to wait. Our server was very friendly and quick. I ordered the down under burger and could only finish half of it! It was so delicious and big enough to share with someone else. We also ordered the seasonal lattes - iced pumpkin caramel and brown sugar. They were so sweet and we would definitely order them again. :)

The Red Line is hustling and definitely bustling at 1pm on a Sunday between a later breakfast/brunch/lunch crowd. Looks are deceiving, the parking lot (front/back) are packed but with a 5 minute wait it's worth it! The kids meals were a great deal and they really enjoyed their meals! The chicken delicious, the side of fries aren't necessary but that side Greek salad is one of the best around and definitely add their coleslaw. One star removed for the service. She took our order and everything moved fast but didn't see her again until it was time for the bill. They definitely have a lot of staff on the floor but hard to ask for things we needed. We'll definitely be back for breakfast!

You can really never go wrong here. I usually get take out but opted for a booth today. Thank you Edelberto for the good service and even better food.

My toddler and I opted for the diner for lunch. She ordered silver dollar pancakes and I got the classic American burger. I also had an ice latte. Service was wonderful, our server Trish was great and kind. My burger was perfectly cooked and well my daughter could not wait for me to take a pic of her pancakes lol she dove right in. The place is clean including the restrooms. The lady at checkout was pretty grumpy hahaha but hey not everyone is having a good day at work.

I love this redline diner. These diners are one of a kind. I wish they were everywhere. Gotta love A good greasy spoon where everybody & their family and friends sit in a cozy environment. The place is really packed at times but fast service, attentive, and great experience. The servers do deserve a good tip. This place is a classic. You can order anything off the menu and everything will be great . Prefer breakfast when going to these type of diners it never miss. Anytime you order breakfast always get home fries well done get a bagel on the grill with extra butter Always get a omelette but the side of bacon extra crispy and it's always gonna hit. The French toast, pancakes, biscuits, and gravy they also make a good pot of coffee to me everything's good. When getting seated asked for a booth next to the window so you can get a good view of the mountains outside. Gives it a good vibe while eating. Take some butter cookies home that is display next to the cashier. Such a friendly staff, very helpful attentive. This place will always be great.

A local favorite and a must to dine! Red Line is not your typical diner. They are a little more "upscale" than you would typically see in a diner. Even if the parking lot is packed- they almost always have a table waiting for you! Amazing and friendly servers every time I go. The food is always excellent- and they do serve large portion, so if you want to share- there is plenty! Or do what my family does and pass some around the table! Their desserts are made in house and we always stop by to grab one after dinner or to go! I would highly recommend red line for excellent service, food, and experience!

Most of them are the same and consistently is a good thing. You know what you're getting every time. There are rocking chairs outside with a giant checkers board as well. The store is the first part once you walk in and they have all kinds of snacks, drinks, toys, souvenirs, shirts and much more. Some of it is branded stuff and most of it is pretty unique stuff. The restaurant is past that and you check in with the hostess and hopefully there isn't a wait. I usually get the breakfast and it's good every time. Breakfast all day as well which awesome. Service was good too.

I have never, in all of my 75 years of life, asked to speak to the manager of a restaurant but I…read moreguess that there's a first time for everything. Our visit began well. Our waitress, Hope, was very sweet and took our order promptly. After waiting about 30 minutes, we asked about our order. Hope explained that a bus had arrived and that the kitchen had been overwhelmed. We hadn't seen a bus or an unusually large number of customers, but she kindly offered us some biscuits while we waited. The biscuits were delicious, although we hadn't wanted to fill up on bread before our meal. When our food finally arrived, my companion's meatloaf was cold, so he had to send it back to be reheated. I had ordered French toast, but pancakes arrived instead. Hope checked her order pad, confirmed that I had indeed ordered French toast, and offered to take the pancakes back. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. Within about two minutes, she returned with what was supposed to be French toast. It looked like slices of bread that had been hastily dipped in egg and barely cooked. The slices were white rather than the golden-brown color you would expect from properly prepared French toast. I tried a piece, and it essentially tasted like bread. It was so undercooked that I called it "raw French toast." When Hope came back to check on us, I told her that the French toast was inedible. Her response was simply to ask if we wanted the check. When we went to pay our tab, the cashier asked if we had been happy with our meal. I took the opportunity to say no, and she called over the manager. I briefly explained my disappointment and the manager promptly offered to remove the cost of my meal from the bill. That was satisfactory but I didn't get the feeling that she was going to talk to the cook about the fact that such horrible food should never have left the kitchen to begin with. Was she going to try to improve the service for the next customer? I understand that restaurants can get busy, and I appreciated Hope's pleasant attitude but waiting roughly 30 minutes for our food, receiving cold meatloaf, and then being served essentially uncooked French toast is not an acceptable dining experience. What was especially disappointing was that there didn't seem to be any real attempt to correct the problem once I explained that my meal was inedible. I left hungry and disappointed and probably won't eat French toast again for the rest of my life!

Beautiful night out in Hudson Valley and parked right in front. Beautiful looking restaurant with one person eating at the bar and four tables eating inside. The menu looks solid. Both of them actually because FtT has a seasonal menu AND a full length daily menu (that's a lot of food and skill...think they can pull it off?). Once we put in orders, and inform our server it's a birthday celebration. Every further interaction with my server starts with "I'm sorry but..." - drinks come out two by two and one by one because the bartender is busy - apps come out an HOUR later (this place is half dead) because "the kitchen never got it" - the first bottle of wine I order is unavailable. As is the second. The third bottle of nice white wine comes out along with a glass of ice (??) because the bottle was never refrigerated and, I guess we are supposed to put ice cubes in our wine?? "I'm sorry but no one put wine in the refrigerator." I tell her to bring me what they have that is cold and I'll pick... - the entrees come out and you know you have chosen poorly. The lobster roll was almost frozen lobster on a soggy piece of Wonder bread, both people who got muscles got four deep, spit half of them out and were advised by us NOT TO EAT anymore. That nuked the seafood soup which had a funny smell after a few bites. My lump crab pasta had a pound of cheese on the top rendering all crab into globs of parm. - after inspecting the table not pleased and kind of picking at their food or not eating it at all, our waitress apologizes yet again...and gives me the full check. - no dessert here, or complimentary dessert (not offered), we all basically escaped...and $500 lighter
