The seaside fries are covered with clam chowder, deep fried clam strips and melted cheese, $3.99, delicious! The dragon broccoli was lightly battered in tempura batter and perfectly fried, drizzled with a perfectly spicy sauce for $2.99! This is such a sad review for me to write because at one point I worked here growing up. I ordered red lobster for dinner with DoorDash... first I'm missing my shrimp scampi that I paid extra for, both my mom and my lobster isn't cooked all the way, just when we think that was the end of our trouble mom opens her coleslaw and it smells rotted! As we arrived at this location, we were greeted and shown to our table. As we are being walked to our table, a server makes a rude comment toward the host and directs us to a different section. Alright no big deal. Our server was probably the only good part of our dining experience. Our food comes out exceptionally fast. I ordered a steak med-rare. I get one or two bites in and notice the middle of my steak is still raw. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't over cooked! But it was RARE RARE. Definitely not a $16 steak. Once again, no big deal. I let me server know and he told me a new one would be out soon. Shortly after, the manager approaches the table and apologizes for the inconvenience. As I was about to have peace of mind, she then asks for my steak back so they can cook it more. This is just absurd. Every so often I get a craving for this place so we went in a few weeks ago during LobsterFest. Decor is similar to every other restaurant in this chain-the "Lighthouse Look". Service has been excellent at this location every time we have gone. We have been going in a few times a year for the past 6 years. What was different during this visit was the menu options. The Sweet Chili Shrimp appetizer was so good that I would go back just to order that. Perfect! Also had the Bar Harbor Lobster bake that was excellent. Tried the Red Velvet cake for dessert and while it was good, it is very sweet and rich....split it if your going to order it. Bread and drinks are always good. This time I ordered a massive frozen margarita that was the perfect fit to the day I was having. Went here last night for my husbands birthday. My sister told the server it was his birthday before we got there. She never acknowledged it. Only got 4 biscuits. There were 4 of us at the table. She never offered more. My husband asked for a coke twice but never got it. He also ordered the endless shrimp but we rarely saw the server so he couldn't keep getting any more shrimp. The place was not busy! When his grilled shrimp came it was cold. Birthday boy got frustrated so we left. He left hungry. Food was great but service was awful. Red Lobster. I'm not sure what I was expecting. I know I was not expecting to wait 57 min (timed it after we hit 30 min) when quoted 20 min for our party of 5 (includes 2 hungry, little kids). I watched as larger and smaller parties who arrived after us were accommodated. I inquired with the hostess and was told a 5 top was difficult to seat (what the hell?) Saving grace was our waiter. He was great. He got the kids bread and put their meals in right away and was friendly even though we were sour when we were finally seated. I've been here twice with my wife and both times the customer service was horrible. It took entirely too long for our food to come out both times, not to mention our servers must've been the slowest on staff on those nights. The food was great, came out hot and very appealing, but lets be honest when you go out to eat you're paying for the customer service because my wife and i both are excellent cooks. I will say that the 1st time management was ontop of our situation, but the second time there wasn't a manager's presence in the dining room the entire visit. So I was craving those cheddar biscuits so I opted for the RL. The biscuits were a lot saltier this time. I got the four course feast starting with soup and chowder. It was decent. I've been in town for 5 days and I've eaten here two of those nights. Started with a GIANT Piña Colada and it was heavenly. Moved on to a 4 course meal consisting of Cajun Chicken Alfredo, soup, and salad. All parts of my meal arrived in a timely and professional manner. The host was very pleasant. Our server Mathew was excellent. Very prompt and professional without sacrificing personality. Came here for lunch yesterday and from looking at my previous review, it looks to be our thing. The restaurant was quite busy but we were quickly seated and had a nice booth. Our server was very prompt and our drinks were quickly brought out to us. I got a berry mango daiquiri and my goodness, the glass was tall. I'm not a short lady and I had to take the glass off the table and hold it down by the seat, just to drink from it. Maybe it's easier while sitting in a regular chair, but otherwise it's a bit of a process. I had a combo with the wood-grilled salmon and the shrimp linguini and my husband had his standard cajun chicken alfredo. Salads are standard iceburg lettuce, but all ingredients were fresh and they were served nice and cold. The cheese biscuits were nice and warm and delicious as always. Our entrees arrived and I have to say that I'm disappointed with the general lack of vegetables served on the plate. I ordered mashed potatoes, which was my fault, but come on. If you put it on peoples' plates, they'll eat it. No one needs a pile of fried food with a side of starch. That being said, my salmon was delicious and was perfectly cooked. My linguini had lots of baby shrimp on top, though the pasta was overcooked for my taste and the sauce was separating to oil and cream. Overall, our food was tasty and service was nice and quick. Red Lobster is exactly what you think; decent food (generally) at reasonable prices. You can generally go to any Red Lobster, anywhere in the country, and expect to receive the same meal, same service, same atmosphere, etc. They are not your local greasy spoon in Maine, where you get fantastic fresh lobster, but that is not how they bill themselves. They are middle of the road seafood, for land locked states like Colorado. You won't get the best seafood of your life, but that is not what you should expect at Red Lobster. read more

It's Red Lobster... Nice location in a newer building, staff is friendly and efficient. Food, meh and pricey for the quality - as always quantity was more than expected which is great if the food is actually worth eating that much of. We came to this location the Saturday before Christmas. We had been shopping at Southlands and stopped for a quick bite at lunch. In the past neither one of us had been overly impressed with Red Lobster but we decided to take a chance. The restaurant was noticeably clean and we were greeted and seated right away. Here is when things went downhill. No one came to greet us or get our drink order for a considerably long time to start. Eventually, our waitress came over and she was very personable, at first. She immediately started talking about her grandbaby and how spoiled the baby was going to be for Christmas. It was a light and airy conversation and she mentioned that her grandbaby called her a unique name. That prompted me to tell her about our young daughter and her unique name for her grandma, my mom. When my daughter was about a year old she started calling my Caucasian mother monkey. A very innocent nickname that they have bonded over in a loving family way. It should be noted that this waitress was African American. However, that made zero difference to us. And after telling her about my daughter her attitude quickly changed. She acted as if I dropped an "n bomb" directed at her. She stood at the table silent for about a minute and the leaned in and asked if my mother was white. I said yes and then she began to give me a dissertation about how offensive "That" word is to black people. Then she began talking very aggressively about actual monkeys. It was uncomfortable and weird. I felt very much like the other tables around us were listening and uncomfortable too. I of course was quick to set it straight and explain that I was just trying to relate to the fun grandma name conversation. All of this before we even got drinks! My husband and I are very realistic and accepting people. And I most definitely felt like we were thrown into a very unnecessary racial conversation. Not by our doing. I thought it was unfair that a silly conversation turned into such bummer. After a few seconds she took our drink and food order and everyone was seemingly collected. However it was obvious that she was not happy having to now wait on what she perceived as white racists. We ate. We paid and left a generous tip for the holidays. Something we would have done regardless of race. The food was nothing special and the experience was overall sad and uncomfortable. We will not return. read more

We came here for my nephew's 8th birthday, so he could have King Crab legs. Unfortunately, they were out of King Crab plus his mom had to run out because she lost her phone. Obviously his birthday wasn't turning out as well as expected...but Cady (our server) made sure he got some snow crab legs instead and Matt ( the manager) came over to personally crack all of the snow crab legs (since his mom wasn't there and his Auntie didn't know what she was doing). This was a huge disappointment. I ordered the crab cakes and crab oscar on salmon special. The salmon was so-so--it was "farm", so there wasn't a lot of taste to it. The "oscar" was blah--it was hard to tell what it was. The crab cakes were simply the worse ones I've ever been served. Not only were they lukewarm to cold; they were mushy--I took one bite and left them both on my plate.The taste was awful The restaurant was clean; we were seated promptly and greeted by the server. After taking our orders, we never say him again--no checking in, no asking if we needed anything else, no nothing. We finally caught his eye and asked for our check--we wanted out. At no time did anyone else come by our booth. When we paid the bill, I told the server the crab cakes were terrible--after all, he could see that I ate the small potato that I would have loved some butter for--but never came. I am not one who cares much for seafood, and they are still able to cater well to me with the delicious Cajun Chicken Alfredo pasta. The location is ideal in a busy mall and the food is always well prepared - from the biscuits before the meal right through dessert. This was an amazing dinning experience. The waitress was friendly, outgoing, and willing to compromise. My father ordered his salmon cooked different than it normally comes. He prefers it medium to medium rare so that it is not dry. The manager, Devin, came over to explain that this a rare request for them, so that if it did not come out to his liking, they would re-do it. They were willing to work with us, and the food turned out perfectly the first time. We thought it was very nice that the manager took her time to come over and explain the situation to us, and then to check to make sure it was right. Bravo! read more
