Can I post -5 stars? First of all we were seated right away, cool, but 1.5 hrs later we got our food, we didn't see our waitress more than 4 times total. We were not informed that we could get a side too if we chose to order a side salad (because you paid for it anyways). We ordered 2 rounds of orders of unlimited shrimp, yet we were there for 2.5 hrs! The waitress cleared our table and we had to ask management half an hour later for our ticket! The waitress got our tickets wrong! The manager checked us out at the bar (because we got tired of waiting for our "waitress") the manager charged my dads card the whole table's amount when he handed him a separated ticket, then the manager argued with my dad saying my dad handed him the ticket for $248. The manager offered no resolve to our issues! The manager argued with my dad about him charging the wrong amount the. Said he could not fix his own mistake, he couldn't issue a refund! We walked in to find it not to busy at all pretty quiet, we stood there probably a good 10 mins before anybody would come up to the front to greet us, when someone finally did they found lady was very rude and had an attitude, didn't ask anything just took menus and walked away and expected us to walk with her. She took us to a table and threw the menus on the table and walked away. Our waitress was the kindest most accommodating waitress but unfortunately that was the good & positive part of this red lobster experience. The food presentation had a wow factor. We ordered their seafood combo that included a lobster tail, scallops, shrimp scampi & large fried shrimp. Dinner entree as I recall is $42 per person. Entree is served with rice & broccoli. I noticed while eating that rice & broccoli were extremely salty. After swallowing more food I started to notice that not only an excessive amount of salt was used in preparation of this dinner but I started to taste a chemical of some kind was used. Sure enough by the time 30 to 45 minutes went by I was desperate for water & my hands & ankles were swollen. I had to drink 34 oz of water because not only was I swollen but I was getting dizzy & the chemical taste in my mouth was intense. Attention manager: stop using that harsh chemical you are directing your food preparer to use. You unintentionally might kill someone. And who in their right mind would add a chemical to a $42 dish? If you are going to continue to use a harsh chemical you need to tell people by including a note on your menu or instructing the wait staff to tell the clientele before someone gets hurt. A $42 entree should be freshly cooked. The entree was obviously not made fresh the same day. It's the illusion of fresh by using a chemical that could have landed me in the hospital. read more

Ate with a group of friends on a Friday evening. Everyone at the table was happy with the food. Both my wife and I had the surf and turf, me with lobster and her with shrimp. Steak was cooked just as ordered for both of us. The service I would say was outstanding. We had an issue with one dish, the waiter who delivered the food, saw it right away, and the dish was re-done. The waitress who was helping us apologized that there was an issue and the manager on duty came out and talked to us too. We drove up to Billings from Greybull just to make a run to the nearby BIG box store. Finding a Red Lobster practically in the parking lot was a nice bonus to the trip. DH had Walts shrimp with fries and green beans, I had the Fish and caesar salad (instead of fries). Red Lobster has free, ample parking that gets really crowded at dinner time. We went a little early for dinner that evening so parking wasn't an issue. Upon arrival we were seated rather quickly where our friendly server greeted us and took our drink order. We ordered and enjoyed our drinks and meals. While eating, we noticed the floor had not been vacuumed recently. They sat us next to the door to the right of the building. I don't know what was outside those doors but what really irritated us was the amount of flies we kept having to stay away while we were eating. I have eaten at several Red Lobster locations throughout the country and generally speaking they are all fairly similar in quality. We had a online coupon for a free appetizer that we wanted to apply the use for the lobster artichoke seafood dip. The waitress was a bit unfamiliar with how those worked, but a quick visit by the Supervisor (Amber) and it was handled easily. The rest of the experience was on par for what was expected. The only real disappointment was with the size of the lobster tail on one of the high-line dinners. It was a relatively small almost as if it was a slipper lobster. The hostess was friendly, however the wait staff was vacuuming around our dining table while we were sitting there. We went here for my Mom's birthday, 4 of us. We were seated rather quickly, which was surprising. We waited several minutes to be greeted by our server who said he would be right back. Nope. We waited several more minutes before he came to take our drink order. Several minutes later he came back with drinks and forgot one but took our order. We waited about 20 minutes to get salad and biscuits and the missing drink. And he forgot a salad. Again we waited. We watched as 2 tables were seated, had appetizers, refills in endless shrimp and receive their entries before we saw ours. Waiter said they had 2 cooks quit 2 days ago so kitchen was behind and managers were in the kitchen helping out. Interestingly one of the managers was chatting with friends in of the booths that ate before us but were seated after us. After waiting 70 minutes I spoke to the manager who said she was just told of the situation by the wait staff and they were expediting our order. My Dad decided we were done. We decided to leave and he spoke to the manager about our wait. We had been lied to by wait staff. He could have been honest but chose to lie. Was very disappointing to say the least. Had the grilled chicken sandwich. The bun was soggy, the bottom part worse. The tomatoes were small and under ripe. The chicken was tiny and rubbery. This is a pretty darned good lunch location. First of all, it's not busy at lunch at all. In the evenings, when Olive Garden is "jammin", Red Lobster gets the overflow. During lunchtime you'll be able to be seated right away even if you show up late. It's just not that busy. The restaurant is clean and if you go very often, you'll recognize a lot of long-time employees. Must be a good place to work with so many choosing to stick around. The seats at the tables are hard but the booths are very comfortable and plenty of room for two grown men. If there are four, I recommend a table for more room. They start you off with a drink order and a few Cheddar Bay Biscuits which I strongly recommend you avoid as they're a heavenly pastry-type foodgasm of the highest order. You'll be addicted to these tasty delicacies quicker than flies on a rib roast. Yes, they are that good. And need absolutely no butter either. They offer a decent lunch menu with various items all priced under $10. If you add a side salad to any lunch entree there is a $2.50 premium. You don't need the salad unless you're absolutely starving. The lunch will fill most people. We enjoy the crunch fried fish sandwich, fried shrimp & clams and they have excellent french fries cooked cripsy on the outside to a golden brown and soft on the inside. Avoid the fish and chips. The fish is very very bland. It takes quite a bit of tartar sauce to choke it all down. Employees are very friendly and take really good care of you. You'll never want for a drink. Bathrooms are clean and the waiting area is huge for the odd occasion that they ARE busy. It's not memorable nor is it special. It's an upscale Long John Silvers that also serves alcohol. read more

The food is delicious, and I've never had any problems with the food. It's the service that bugs me. The host or hostess seats you, the waiter takes your order, brings the food, and then they forget about you. I always go when the restaurant isn't busy so I can avoid the wait, but it never fails. I sit there for an extra half hour waiting for the check or a refill. And when they do come back to check on you, they act as if you're inconveniencing them somehow. This is my absolute last time eating at this particular Red Lobster. Every single time I've placed a To Go order it's always messed up. Today the issues was the fact that I ordered the 1 1/2 snow crab legs, baked potato, salad, and shrimp scampi. Well upon deliver of my food at the bar by Alyssa S my salad was bagged leaning on one side of the bag and the scampi leaning on the other side in which the scampi sauce spilled over into the bag. Now the crab legs; they looked as if they just came out of mud (dingy looking) and the clusters were broken pieces and terribly small. $35.77 bill for mess and I will absolutely be completing the survey on the Red Lobster site. I'm tired of always having to call for a manager and this is no longer acceptable. read more
