I was in the mood for fried clam strips again after my Red Lobster experience at the Columbus, IN location. I discovered this new favorite seafood item during that experience so I decided to try to replicate the meal. Usually that's not hard at the more upscale chain restaurants with regards to the food quality. The food quality is usually pretty consistent. Service might vary more from location to location but here in Bloomington, the service was excellent. Every time my server passed by me, he was checking out my table. I ordered the Choose Two option and selected the Fried Wild Caught Flounder and the Crispy Fried Clam Strips. My fish and clam strips were delicious as expected. I received two large fish fillets and a huge portion of clamp strips that equalled the size of the two large fish fillets. Fresh Steamed Broccoli was one of my sides. The florets were huge and good. My other side was the Cole Slaw. The portion was too big for me. A big bowl of it that looked like an entree instead of a side. I also ordered the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake without the new fresh strawberries topping. The crust is thick and very flavorful. The whipped cream topping is awesome. Their cheesecake is excellent. I love their dining rooms with the cherry wood tables and thick cushions in the booths. It is a classy feel with wide aisles so you don't feel crowded together with other diners.

Endless shrimp has my heart! We went there for my birthday and had such a delish meal. The place was clean, seated immediately-it was a weekday so easy to get in. There were four of us, each had correct orders that came out hot and fresh. Server was fantastic! She was very attentive and super nice-she brought us a birthday dessert! Great place for a nice dinner-chain restaurant with hometown feel.

I ordered at this Red Lobster for lunch, since I had a bad experience from another restaurant last night and wanted to eat. My husband and I shared a entree and ate a few of the cheese biscuits. I ordered the jumbo lump crabs, the walts shrimp, fried white fish, baked potato, with sour cream and butter. Also a dozen of biscuits. * I didn't receive the sour cream, butter, or Caesar salad. The salad is what I was going to eat and a crab cake. What a bomber. :-( Cons- no eating utensils, no napkins, no sour cream or butter for the baked potato, no Caesar salad, and lukewarm food. The fish and shrimp wasn't good at all. Pros- the crab cakes were delicious. That's it! I don't use the microwave, but today I had too, since I'm in a hotel and visiting Indiana. We pay too much money to dine, take out, or for delivery, to not receive what we paid for.

Very expensive & not worth it. Cocktail was 90% ice, lobster tails were overcooked and bitter. The salmon bowl was decent but could've been seasoned better. Calamari & biscuits were the showstoppers.

Desert was definitely descent. Thankful and appreciative. The menu is a bit expensive and the waitress/staff were nice!

While the rest of the world is panicking because of the coronavirus, my team of healthcare workers really wanted Red Lobster for lunch. We were on a time crunch since we only get an hour for our lunch break. A group of us headed to the restaurant in order to get seats and order before the rest of us arrived. The group of ladies I was with all commented that I needed to give Red Lobster a five-star rating because of how accommodating they were. I agreed. We were shown to our seats immediately, and the drinks were already there when I arrived. I arrived with the later group so by the time I got there someone had already placed my order and I had a drink sitting in front of me. One of the managers even came back and thanked us for doing what we do amid this whole coronavirus panic. This is the chain restaurant so the food is pretty standard every time I come. And there were no surprises. However, the server did accidentally fill one of my coworker's drink with water when she got Sprite. Other than that, our bellies were full and we got back to work on time.

Went out for dinner with family It's been such a long time They were doing social rules, Food was good but very limited menu, and prices were higher , but figured because they are just getting things going again. Long wait times to get food but we figured they only had a few cooks.

It is not flesh live lobster, it's the frozen one, the meat doesn't firm at all, you can still taste and smell the refrigerator, everything is salty. Service is fine.

The biscuit alone is worth it

It was obvious that they use old frozen lobster tails. It was rubbery and tasteless. It's a shame that the service was good

Went for dinner on a non-football weekend night and had great service. Helpful guidance on menu choices and super attentive without being a bother. The room and bar are handsomely decked out, with comfortable, well-spaced tables and banquettes and booths. Makes for a fun setting. The food is seasonal and local -- lots of corn and squash this time of year. The chicken roulettes are excellent, as was the beet salad with Calabrian honey and whipped feta -- a nice sweet/hot combo. The steak frites was perfectly cooked to medium rare as requested, and accompanied by scalloped potato fries. Don't miss the desserts, either. The sweet corn creme brûlée with popped sorghum was totally new to me and delish. The chocolate medley was also excellent. Kudos for well-made cocktails too. Great experience and 100% different from everything else in town. A little NYC in IN.

We were sat in an almost empty restaurant but that was most likely because of time of day (around 2). Our waitress though took awhile to come greet us. She took our orders and to start off on a wrong foot our 2 cocktails and WATERS took over 10 minutes to come out. I know this because I had a text I had sent and being aggravated I went back and looked at the time when I sent it . Later on our appetizers came out. It was about 20ish minutes after our order went in. Then our food came about 5 minutes after that giving us little room left on the table. I know it was an almost 45 minute wait to get everything. I ordered the blackened chicken which was amazing my first visit a couple months previously but this time it was dry and definitely blackened .... AKA burnt! The manager was checking on the other tables she had with an additional waitress running around so I assume our waitress wasn't the only one taking care of them (4 as seen in picture actually) and when he popped by to ask how everything was he took my plate to remake it. 15ish MORE minutes go by and I asked the waitress if she could check on my food and she said 'well chicken takes a while to cook'. In disbelief I jokingly said I can make it faster at home so please just get mine to-go since my parents were already done and had been done for awhile. We got to-go boxes for their leftovers and my food came out shortly after . We received $ 40 off without asking so I appreciated getting something for 1 1/2 hours waiting in a nearly empty restaurant and no meal. I went home and when I went to heat up my food AGAIN the chicken was charred and extremely dry. I ate the sweet corn farrotto which was atleast good and trashed the chicken. Since it was now dinner time I made my own meal With the time and overall poorly done meal(s?) I had I think I'll avoid it happening again by just going elsewhere. It's a shame because we went here with a party of 8 previously and they did so good. We were honestly thinking this would be our spot for special occasions after that but it's likely not worth it since the manager and chef left us hanging and yet again served something subpar. I'd of hoped they make absolutely sure my simple chicken dish was correct the second time around I didn't take a pictures of food we got unfortunately. Our appetizers looked and tasted good but they were eaten quickly because we were starving by the time they came out around 3 so no time for those pictures either. I was then too busy sending my food back and eating appetizers. Once my chicken came out togo we all just wanted out of there! Then once I got home I was too aggravated and gave up any reason to go get my phone I suppose. Why bother? They didn't bother to make it right after all except to give us some $ off but I still wasted my time that day and again when I got home making my own food . The manager will definitely remember this disaster though

For drinks, cocktails (and a few mocktails) and a smaller selection of wine are also available. I wanted to get beer but I was kind of tempted by the cocktails. My first choice was a flight that included a mix of The Tap beers and guest beers, but the waiter came back after taking the order and told me that they could only do flights with their beers but could let me sample the beers I wanted to try, so I did that, and the samples were probably around 2 oz each so I basically got half a flight. After that, I ended up ordering a real flight of their beer. The Tap beers I tried were: Kill the Lights stout (regular and barrel-aged), Tapenator dark lager, Frost Bite winter ale, Nefarious Nectar blonde. Guest beers: Jacob Leinenkugel white mocha stout, Weihanstephaner Hefeweissbier, BrewDog Winter Staycation. Not going to waste space reviewing all of these, but they were all fantastic. I was really grateful that they let me sample so many! And they also have food. The menu isn't huge but does have some variety, and it's not just basic pub food. I had the ahi tuna crunch bowl and it was pretty good! It kind of had the vibe of stuff thrown together in a poke bowl, but it worked and I thought the fish was done really well. Our waiter was wonderful! He was really friendly and just the right amount of attentive. My friend and I stayed for a while talking after we had paid and he didn't rush us out at all. Granted, it was a pretty quiet night. We both really liked the vibe of the place. I would love to be back soon!
