This was my first time dining here and overall it was a good experience! We started with the Crab Queso--a cheesy crab dip topped with pico de gallo and served with crispy tortilla chips. It was really tasty, though I wished it had just a little more crab. For my drink, I ordered the Summer Sips: Purple Haze and really enjoyed it--refreshing and flavorful. My entrée was the Lobster Pappardelle Pasta, made with Maine and langostino lobster, asparagus, and fresh tomatoes in a savory garlic sauce. This dish was a standout! The pasta was cooked well, and I was impressed with the generous portion of lobster. Service was just okay--it wasn't busy, but things moved a little slow. Come here every year for my mother's birthday. We almost went somewhere else but my daughter was craving their biscuits. Her steak was cooked to the correct temperature. My 9yr old ate a whole pound of crab legs. I got the chicken Cajun Alfredo; It was creamy and delicious. The parm cheese wasn't freshly grated, but I like how it was flaky and not powdered. I wanted a spicy margarita, that wasn't on the menu but they were kind enough to create one. I tried the margarita flight, it was nice to taste different flavors with a good balance of sweetness. Came here for my mom's birthday w/ a party of 8. It's one of her faves & w/ Red Lobster filing for chapter 11 we wanted to get a last bite in. Just in case if they're going to be gone forever. I Only got to take a pic of my drinks & food b/c everyone digged in. Portions were def smaller on certain meals. Def on the fettuccines (shrimp/cajun chicken) & the coconut shrimp(meal only came w/ 4 it usually always comes w/ 7 or more). Also,certain dinner meals came w/ 2 sides now they only came w/ 1. I ordered a full Cajun chicken fettuccine dinner size. Food was delish! Don't forget about those unlimited cheddar biscuits to die for. I also ordered a flight of summer flavored margaritas. In pic order last to right. Blue Caribbean w/ salted rim. Passion fruit w/ tajin rim. Watermelon w/ sugar. Drinks were really strong which I'm not used to in red lobster. Plus,really cheap $15.49 for 3 strong drinks is not bad, not bad @ all. Waiter was very attentive & friendly. He heard me said it was my mom's birthday. It's been many years since I have gone to redlobster. I don't usually come here for seafood but on this occasion we decided to stay local and get some seafood. It was 8 of us dining and sat at one of the big booths. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant. It was dimly lit. The vibe was calm, and i felt relaxed. I had the trio margarita flight. Three flavors of passion fruit, Caribbean blue and water melon. It wasn't too boozy, but it was not lacking either. The passion fruit was my favorite out of the three. For dinner, I had the bar harbor lobster bake. The food was good, the seafood was fresh and our waiter was kind. I would visit again someday. Especially for the cheesy biscuits! read more

BUYER BEWARE. We had A special visit planned to our elderly sister in Bridgeport. To celebrate her love of lobster rolls, we went to the local Red Lobster. A mistake that we should have realized when we arrived for lunch at 12:30pm and the restaurant was empty (7/17/25). Tried to order a Bloody Mary to start and we were told they only had ginger ale and cranberry juice to mix vodka with. Tried to order another mixed drink from the bar - no luck on that, either. On to lunch itself : lobster rolls, please . No, we were told they had no lobster rolls. There is no point in continuing this review. During the course of our lunch, two other (unsuspecting?) couples came in for a meal. A massive disappointment for what should have been somewhat of a special treat. Never again. read more

Upon arrival at Red Lobster this evening, our server Amani greeted us at the door and led us to our usual table. She asked us if we wanted our usual meals, one of which, stuffed sole, is not on the menu. She then brought us plates, biscuits and extra butter. Our sole and shrimp dinners were excellent, and my shrimp were on a large plate which makes them easier to cut and eat. The manager, Lela Ali, stopped by to say hello and inquired if we were satisfied with our meals, which we were. As we were leaving, Lela and Amani called out to us and wished us a good night. My food came out and they forgot my meal I had to wait another 10 minutes for them to find it. I finally got my food. And it wasn't hot. I ordered the cajun chicken alfredo, extra biscuits and two orders of snow crab. My order came to $61.15. It was very subpar for the money. The cheddar biscuits which are the crowning achievement here were blah. I wasn't really impressed at all. Between the customer service, wait times, food quality and temperature. Outstanding fresh, hot and tasty food! I ordered the lobster linguine, Kung Pao noodles with crispy lobster, crab cake, cheddar bay biscuits, and the chocolate wave. Entrees- The lobster linguine was out of this world! Between the large chunks of lobster and the creamy lobster sauce it was the perfect combo. I loved how they used lots of sweet claw meat as well. The Kung Pao noodles with crispy lobster had the perfect mix of spices, fresh veggies and nuts. I do have to add I'm not a fan of the fried lobster and would order without next time. Appetizer and extras- The house made crab cake with remoulade was amazing! I had to use a napkin to drain some of the oil off the bottom before adding the sauce but other then that I was so pleasantly surprised. It was pretty small but very tasty I would definitely order it again. The cheddar bay biscuits were so warm and flaky. It had the perfect combo of a little crunch on the outside and a soft middle. Even warmed up later on they were still so yummy! It was very hard to stop eating them! Dessert- The chocolate wave slice of cake came with a generous scoop of ice cream topped with a little chocolate sauce. The cake was so moist and had the perfect amount of frosting so every bite had both cake and frosting on it. I loved the added touch of mini chocolate chips on the outside it gave it something special to remember it by. This was definitely a bakery quality dessert! I can't say enough good things about my experience! It's been hard to get food that is hot, fresh, and delicious while eating take out but here I got it all. Our food was good but there is a reason for it. Our server Geraldine. She perfectly dressed our salad. She was kind and welcoming. She brought us our orders on time and ensured we didnt require anything. When it comes to customer service she displayed the best they have to offer. She sets the standard when it comes to excellent service. The food was alright, I ended up getting sick on the way home. That wasnt fun since I live in Boston. The lobster tails were a bit dry. It has absolutely nothing to do with the staff who were all great. but there were other issues insuring I would not be returning. First off I came here with one other person. It was for lunch, not dinner and it was not all that crowded. Yet we were told we could not come in and would have to wait for others to leave because of an issue with not having enough staff working. I could absolutely see that if it was a Friday or Saturday night and was packed. But there really were not all that many people in there. Yet we waited. We did eventually get seated and I ordered the Fried Clams. Then the second issue came up. The food took forever. I mean it was odd. I think there was one point we considered leaving as the wait was to long, especially for lunch in a place that was not crowded. But then the third issue came up. We did get our food and ate it and it was good. The clam strips tasted fine. I prefer whole belly clams but strips, when available and cooked right are fine too. These were so I thought. So we finished, paid and left. And a short while later I got sick. I actually threw up. It was not a pleasant experience and that, coupled with the other above mentioned issues insured I wouldn't be coming back. I want to reiterate that the staff were very nice and we had no issues with anyone working there. Ordered takeout. It was the fried cod. It was burnt and dry. It looked nothing like the picture. Nor was it edible. I can't even promise that it was cod. The piece I tasted before I trashed it did not taste like cod or any fish. It just tasted like burnt and grease. This restaurant needs to shut down because no establishment with an ounce of integrity or concern for their customers would have allowed something like that to leave their kitchen. And I ordered 2. Biggest waste of money ever. The accompanying photo shows these three tragic little pieces of who knows what this is. I wish I'd brought it back for a refund, but I didn't even want to go back, so I just threw it away. Maybe they do other things well, but stay away from the cod. Or the restaurant. The restaurant is big and has plenty of room to fit its customers. This is a must, because this place is packed especially on Saturday and Sunday. If you consider going on one of these weekend days be prepared for a wait (30-45 minutes), unless you are a party of 4 and you can reserve a table. I just wanted to acknowledge the team at this particular Red Lobster. My family placed an order yesterday, since they knew I have been craving seafood. Of course we did expect it to be busy under normal circumstances, let alone during Mother's Day & Pandemic, so we were prepared to wait. Yes, I waited about 45 minutes for my food, yes there was a crowd and could've used more organization, but I know they were doing their best. I had my face mask and took as much precautions as possible. It's hard to control crowds, and the ignorance of other people, but I believe management did a good job at keeping hungry customers at bay, considering our current situation. Once I got here we sat down immediately and looked at the menu. It took at least 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table to greet us. Mind you it was a Sunday so they weren't busy at the time. We got greeted but the waiter was very rude to us. It took awhile for our drinks to come. When they finally did we ordered and I ordered a lobster tail. It was about $20. Once I got the lobster tail it was so small like as big as the palm of my hand. Small. I ate this in about a second. $20 for something that small!? That is crazy to me. James, our server was phenomenal. I dined with my parents and sister. Usually it is rare for my parents to request the manager to make a visit to our table. My mother asked our waiter James, twice, to be sure to send the manager over to our table so that my parents could sing James his much deserved praises. James, made us feel welcomed, his presence was perfect (not too overbearing of the table, but perfectly prompt as it seemed as he was right there whenever we needed something such as more biscuits or drinks) We left James something like close to a 25% tip. My mother even commented that she wished James could be our server at any restaurant we go to (and take him along with us at any time we go out to eat!) He was superb, there needs to be more caring waiters in the world, like James. The host, Anderson, was extremely sweet and welcoming as well :) We each had the 4 course Seafood Feast for $15 each, a promotion that we had seen on a commercial. Honestly, I don't know how Red Lobster makes money from this promotion. We were given tons of food. We each had a cup of soup, a salad, an entree (I had the Honey BBQ Shrimp Skewers) and a dessert. Each course was brought out in a perfectly timed fashion. We requested another helping of the Cheddar Bay Biscuits and there was a delay in the kitchen as a fresh batch was currently in the oven. Multiple servers stopped by our table to let us know that the biscuits would shortly be on their way. Those biscuits arrived steamingly hot, rather impressed. So at the behest of my parents, and a big appetite on my part, we made the journey to the nearest Red Lobster I could find in Bridgeport. First off, it being a Saturday I expected the place to be slammed, and it was, but I felt the entrance of the restaurant to be severely cramped and not providing of enough waiting room. Made our way to the bar to wait and ordered my old man his usual Rum and Water; I opted for a Gin and Tonic... What we received was more like Water and Water and Water and Tonic. The drinks were poorly made and the wait was even worse. When we finally got seated, almost 40 minutes later, the experience got much better. Our waitress was awesome and very accommodating despite how busy the staff was. I opted for the Surf and Turf which had a Ribeye covered in cheese and mushrooms with Lobster Tails... Gotta say, I was impressed with the quality and flavor. Perfectly cooked steak at medium rare was an added bonus. My folks split two dishes of a pasta seafood concoction and scallops. They gorged themselves on those damn biscuits... Side note, I'm convinced those things contain a form of food grade Nicotine which result in such an addictive response. Everyone was stuffed, and I was left dreading the drive back to Stamford while nursing a severe food coma.
