We had a serious seafood craving, so we decided to stop by the infamous Red Lobster. I ordered the Create Your Own Ultimate Feast, which I actually really like, it gives you more flexibility, extra lobster, and better options overall. The biscuits were banging, as always. Overall, the food was good, but there were a few downsides. The cocktail sauce tasted more like plain tomato sauce and just didn't hit the way it should. They also changed up the salad dressings, the citrus one wasn't great, and while the sesame was okay, it could definitely be improved. We also tried the fried mushroom appetizer. Flavor-wise it was good, but unfortunately we found a hair in it and had to send it back, which was disappointing. On the positive side, our waiter was great very polite and attentive. The restaurant wasn't too crowded for a rainy Saturday night, and the store itself was clean. All in all, my seafood craving was satisfied. Let's start with the bag. We did get a free appetizer stuffed mushrooms, but there was hair in it. They do not carry French dressing anymore. Salad is now a premium side so we had to pay extra. Of course the small print says Most locations. Naturally won't be our location or any location I can find in the vicinity. If that's the case why would anyone in NY get this email. Yeah, I was a bougie af 7year old, ordering filet mignon and king crab at white cloth restaurants, I adored my warm butter being kept that way with a little tea light candle. Money was of no object to me back then haha. Red Lobster unfortunately, is pricey af now that I'm an adult who has to support his damn self. This location in particular doesn't exactly participate in the National deals, or they do but they charge a premium. The last visit to a Red Lobster was 11 years back at a different site Deer Park Arches Site tonight shows that the chain and this location has emensely improved in every aspect. This site has better brighter lighting. Seating is more customer friendly. The food has been presented here in a much more appealing manner. People eat with their eyes. But I want to give a shout out to Jakub P. - the worst waiter I've come across in this Red Lobster. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday, which wasn't even a busy day - we sat right down no wait around 6pm on a weekend. My boyfriend told him that it was my birthday when I had went to the bathroom. During our dinner he never refilled our drinks, we had to ask. He never asked how our food was. He asked if we wanted dessert which my boyfriend ordered the brownie for himself. He brought it out and completely forgot to bring me my birthday dessert. So my boyfriend had to get up and speak to the manager, who was on her game to get my dessert, and rightly-so seemed very mad. Jakub didn't even hand it to us, two other random workers sang it to us. And like I said, it was surprisingly not busy. After dessert we asked for our check and he just handed us the receipt, with no booklet. It was unprofessional. First off I must say this Red Lobster is so clean and inviting! The menu has so much to choose from, and I particularly like during the week they have the daily deals. I took advantage of one of the daily deals, which consisted of Walt's fried shrimp/voice of two side, and a beverage. All for a very reasonable price. My dining partner had the fish and chips and said the fish was sooooo crunchy! Another nice touch was when the manager came by to see if we needed anything and how we were doing. My boyfriend suggested Red Lobster for dinner tonight. We both haven't been since before Covid, so tonight was the night. Oddly enough I got an email earlier today that endless shrimp was back for this weekend. Perfect timing. We were brought to a table right away. We asked our waiter (John) if they were participating in the weekend special for endless shrimp, and he said they were. Warm cheddar biscuits brought out right away. So delicious and fresh! To start we ordered Langostino Lobster-Artichoke-and-Seafood Dip. It was delicious! Very nice flavors. Now for the endless shrimp, your first order comes with two full sized portions and a side, and then for your refills you get about a half an order. For my first order I got coconut shrimp and garlic grilled shrimp and Caesar salad as my side. All was delicious. My boyfriend got coconut shrimp, shrimp scampi and fries as his initial order. He enjoyed. For our first refill I got shrimp scampi and he got garlic grilled shrimp. Our second and last refill we both got Walt's favorite shrimp. Figured we might as well have all the shrimp options. Refills came out in a reasonable amount of time. Our waiter John was very on top of it and checked on us often. He was a great waiter! Endless shrimp is definitely the way to go for variety and of course if you like shrimp. The watermelon martina was served in a highball glass since they didn't have any martini glasses. Scratching my head why a big restaurant like this doesn't have the appropriate glassware Regardless the drink was lack luster and not worth the $5 special price tag. The AYCE shrimp was a bargain for $20. The waitress asked upfront what we wanted next and advised fried items take 5 minutes and broiled items take 10 minutes. Biscuits wete replaced. Overall we found a lot of the food too salty. You need to taste first before you add any additional salt. It took FOREVER to get the bill and then FOREVER to process our gift cards since the electronic machine on the table wouldn't take them. It was so frustrating to use the machine we just left the balance in cash. We never got a paper receipt so I never got my rewards point, which sucks but when I do get points they normally expire before I can use them. read more

I haven't been to Red Lobster in years. I have always been disappointed when I went because of the quality of the food or the way it was made. With that being said. I was pleasantly pleased when I came here. Our waiter Andy N was amazing. My sister and I told him about my sisters son allergies and he went to extra lengths of letting us know what was in the food and the smoothie that my nephew was eating. He was very attentive and generally concerned for he is studying to be a pediatrician. I feel that Andy went beyond his job to make sure we were ok with everything and that there would be no issues. The restaurant was clean and there were a few other patron in there. It wasn't over crowded. It was clean. Noise level was good. The food was very good my sister and I ordered the salmon, lobster and shrimp meal and we really enjoyed it. I've been coming to eat at red lobster with my family for 30plus years, and today I came with my husband I always order the coconut shrimps and Walt's favorite shrimps , however when they brought us our tartar sauce it was disgusting!!! I don't know if they changed the recipe, but it's so disappointing. I was so upset that I didn't even eat my shrimps. I know times are hard , but why would you change the recipe without letting your customers know, before they order !!! Saw they converted Joe's Crab Shake to Red Lobster. Nice job. Great area.We were greeted immediately and taken to our table once we walked through the door.. One problem is the vents are to close to the tables which makes you cold and your food get cold quicker. Our server was named Malik very nice waiter. He was attentive very helpful with a personality. The food was great. I was impressed. Biscuits as usually very good The only issue was they ran out of broccoli. Didnt understand that. There is a Bj right across the street. It was a nightmare. Me and my wife went last night, 8/10/2024. Everything was ok up until there was a white hair on my shrimp and my wife's main lobster tail was undercooked to the point it was not safe to eat and her shrimp linguine was cold. Our first time to this location. It is a pretty good size and I enjoyed the lighting and how open the whole place felt. I was pleasantly surprised on how well the salmon was done. I am many times hesitant that it will be overdone. But they cooked it to perfection and I really loved that they kept the skin on! Hubby enjoyed his meal also. The service at this place could not be worse! Spoke to the manager who was useless. Waited over an hour and our food never came, while all tables around us (some who came after us) received and finished their food. They said there were a lot of "to go" orders so we had to wait. We wound up leaving because they couldn't give us any idea when our food would be out. The waitress probably didn't put the order in. It was impossible to get a straight answer from anyone there. Great interior decor and conveniently located directly across from Tanger Outlet. The Pina Colada was deliciously refreshing but tasted like it had zero alcohol content. I mentioned it to the waiter and he said everybody says that and that it did contain alcohol. The cheddar bay biscuits, shrimp scampi, fried shrimp and brownie overboard were good but the crab cakes were the real standout-perfectly cooked. I order for a family meal for pick up the next day ( Today- Mother's Day). I was charged at the time of order. I received a order confirmation email last night and this morning I also received a text that my order was ready for pick up. My husband arrived there at 2:45 and is still waiting. He was told by the manager that nothing is ready - at 4:00pm! I've called the third party catering (excatering) and I've been on hold for 1 hour with a wait time of 72 minutes. Send a text message with the number they provided - NO RESPONSE! And also went online to reach an agent and I was booted of the chat due to high volume. I'm aware of the high volumes of orders during Mother's Day especially in the middle of a pandemic, however to charge customers for a service that's not provided is completely unacceptable!
