Texas Roadhouse in Deer Park has become one of our favorite places to go for a fun night out. The people who work there provide truly excellent service from start to finish. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to care that you're having a great experience. The atmosphere is a blast -- part restaurant, part sports bar, and part country music venue. Between the lively energy, TVs, and upbeat vibe, it's impossible not to have a good time. And the food? Absolutely delicious. The steaks are perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. Whether you're ordering ribs, chicken, or one of their hand-cut steaks, everything arrives hot, fresh, and satisfying. And those biscuits with the cinnamon butter are... wow!! Just wow!! They alone are worth the trip. For about $30-$35 per person, it's an incredible value. The steaks cost a bit more, but they're absolutely worth every penny. My first time ever writing a review so fast for terrible service. Management and staff was a mess, disorganized, and rude. They told us it would be a 45 min wait to 55 mins which isn't an issue but then we wait an hour and get told we're next. We wait another 20 mins before we're allowed to wait inside because of a new policy where we're not allowed to wait inside the waiting area unless our table is called. Although we were "next" 8 people were still ahead of us. We finally go to be seated after waiting and Hr and 20 mins and get told someone else is at our table we are then left to wait again for a new table to open up while others of the same party size are still being seated before me. The management argued with no apology for giving the table away and went to go seat other party's of the same size. First time here and I have to say I enjoyed the food. I must have pasted this place a 100 times and just never stopped in. I am glad I finally gave it a try. It is similar to Outback steak house but I have to say much better. The steak was better quality and service for such a busy spot was really good. This place gets very busy especially on a Saturday evening. My first visit here was cool. Decent food and reasonably priced. The service was good as well - attentive and hospitable. Though it's not a steakhouse, you can get a decent tasting steak and potatoes here without breaking the bank. I ordered an 8 Oz Sirloin with mashed potatoes and gravy with cesar salad. It costs extra to add cheese to a baked potato but the waitress didn't tell us when it was ordered. The waitress was pleasant and checked on us too often. The complimentary bread was soft and fluffy. $50 chicken critters family meal the tenders were so small. Not sure how this is suppose to feed 3/4 adults with leftovers. The tenders were the size of a normal size tender cut into 4/5 pieces. First time coming to a Texas Roadhouse. Surprised at how crowded it is at a relatively remote location - there's actually an around 15 min wait. We are greeted with friendly staff and shown to our table. We are not very hungry so we just ordered the porterhouse t-bone to share - but it comes with two sides and with the portion it probably would have been enough for a normal day anyway. The bread is said to be famous but I don't really think it is too special. The big steak at a price of $38 is pretty good though especially the fillet side. Caesar salad and fries are decent too. The drinks are incredibly cheap and everything is basically single digit. Our bill comes off at $65 before tax and it was seriously crazily cheap for a steak dinner with a couple drinks. read more

Amazing experience. Service was friendly and prompt. Wait time less than 10 minute for 2 ppl on a Friday night? Amazing. Food was great as well. Plenty of booths to sit at. As soon as we sat down they bought hot soft rolls with warm cinnamon butter to eat. Loved the bag of peanuts on the table to munch on as you wait. We didn't even need to order yet when they brought those freebies, which is very generous and nice. Then, we ordered a blue moon and a mocktail (blue) both were delicious and the beer came in a big portion (we both had to drink it to finish). For food I got a Texas entree of 6oz filet with ribs and loaded baked potato and house salad with balsamic dressing. He got a bone in ribeye with loaded mashed potato and Caesar salad. The food arrived promptly and cooked perfect medium. We enjoyed the nice char on the meat. Both potatoes were delicious. My ribs were fall of the bone but a little on the dry side. pretty disappointed with our visit to texas roadhouse. from the start, our waitress kept trying to upsell us on literally everything. i just wanted a simple shirley temple, but instead of taking the order, she kept pushing other drinks on me. it was honestly kind of annoying. then when we went to order our entrees, she tried to get us to add extra mushrooms, extra onions, and extra cheese....like, let us just order our food without all the sales pitches!! on top of that, she was super inattentive. we only got one water refill the whole time, and we were sitting there really thirsty. no one came to check in on us after we got our food, and we had to wait a while just to get the bill. the seating situation wasn't great either. the booths were really tiny and felt cramped. if you look at any pictures from our visit, there was barely any room for plates or drinks. and they never took away the menus, so the table stayed crowded the whole meal. as for the food ... well the steak had zero seasoning and just tasted bland. the mac and cheese was also not good at all, it was kind of just cheese and pasta and flavorless. the only thing we actually liked were the fried pickles. those were crispy and tasty, but not enough to save the rest of the meal. definitely not planning to come back. for the price and the experience, it just wasn't worth it. read more

The decor is the same as the other Texas Roadhouse location in East Meadow I've been to, with armadillos, cacti, and retro metal signs all over the place. The food was okay-- a bit saltier than I remembered, but nonetheless good, especially for the price. We got the sampler appetizer with snake bites, fried pickles, and potato skins. If you're not into salty food, you may want to steer clear of the fried pickles; those were the saltiest I've ever had. We love going to this place. Everything is reasonably priced waitstaff very friendly and the manager on that night always goes around to make sure all customers are happy. You always get a good quality steak or meal yummy sides and the Caesar salads are always delicious. Texas Roadhouse is the king of all American casual restaurant chains. Great portions, good hospitality, affordable pricing, and their buns... What are the buns? Well, just the number one complimentary bread you can get at a chain restaurant nowadays. These pillowy little bunnies are baked every couple of minutes and they are just so hot and irresistible, TRY to just eat one. The paired cinnamon butter takes it to the next level. As for the mains, on this recent outing I went for their 14 oz. ribeye with a baked potato and their rice. My steak was cooked a beautiful medium rare and was sufficiently seasoned. I like their baked potato but I always have to brush off some salt as it can be a bit much. Their rice is superb and very heavily seasoned. Thankfully though, as a lot of places are afraid to flavor their rice appropriately. My belly was absolutely stuffed after this hefty meal and I was happy. I love that there is an 12.99 early bird until 5:00 PM and also available on weekends until 3:00! I like the 6 ounce sirloin steak. Just right for me . The sweet potatoes here are so yummy. I opt for the additional few bucks for a loaded one which includes perfectly toasted marshmallows. The beer rotation is always good at Texas Roadhouse. Waiter just tries to upsell everything to get a better tip without telling that everything he recommends is an up charge. The Texas Roadhouse in Seldon NY was a disaster. One person in our party had chicken and steak. She got food poisoning 2 hours after she returned home was sick for 3 days. She was given a coupon for a free meal after calling. I had the Porterhouse steak, usually always good or the Prime rib. The porter house was hard to cut and had a lot of connective silver skin. Hard to chew and I got the steak Rear This was not what I like but didn't want to send it back because we were with another couple. The only person to get sick had the chicken. They have successfully created an entire community surrounding this place - with different specials & events every night. It was hard to get seating at first because of how many people love this local favorite. The steaks here are all pretty solid, meat quality is what you can expect for an above average and affordable steak house. The ribs are are marinated well- and cooked to the point where they are just about to fall off the bone. The appetizers are pretty good as well, and you must get the Texas Roadhouse staple - the Blooming Onion. This is essentially just fried dough with yellow onion side, presented to you in the shape of a giant onion. I'd recommend going here for a good time with friends or family! read more

We are staying in the in the area for a 75th birthday party celebration. So we thought we'd have a meal after our 3.5 hour drive. This is a chain at the edge of a large shopping area in Deer Park. Parking was easy and we gave our names to the hostess. They do not accept reservations but apparently if you call ahead they place your name on a list. Sounds like a reservation to me. We waited about 10 minutes and were then seated at a booth for four. Service was prompt and friendly. The place was crowded. It was 615pm on a Friday. We got pork ribs and a prime rib. The food was good although my mashed potatoes were cold. I ordered an old fashion cocktail it came without a cherry. The manager stopped by to see how we were doing. That was a nice touch. Went to dinner at this beautiful place again and of course the service was delightful. Jasmine was my server and she was really attentive and smiled the entire eve with me. I didn't like the first drink I order so she made me a new one herself and it was delicious. My food was hot and my steak was cooked just the way I like it.
