Visited this location for the first time. So glad that they opened in Deer Park because there are not many Red Lobsters left on Long Island. We sat at the bar for happy hour and had good service. Have to say I do like the motif of the other Red Lobsters better with the dark woods and carpeted floors but this place is very nice and clean. I came here yesterday for the lobster special and it didn't disappoint me. Lobster was great and the coleslaw was tasty. I like the baked potato covered with lobster. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the house wine at happy hour. I also had the happy hour shrimp cocktail it was good but the cocktail sauce needs a little more horseradish. Bartenders were friendly and I will come back for happy hour. They did a great job remodeling the restaurants. If they could change 1 thing I would say extend happy hour to 6:30. read more

Monday all you can eat shrimp was a must try for us. The location is hidden on the back of the Tanger outlets. We ordered and the food came out right away. I thought the shrimp scampi was salty. So I just waited an hour and a half plus for food that I'm not even going to eat. And please believe me, I can eat warm food, but this food was COLD. So happy this location opened up. What a change this one is compared to the Babylon and valley stream locations that I usually go to. The atmosphere is so welcoming and bright, the other ones on the island really need to redesign and use this location as the model. Everything was great from the happy and sweet hostesses, to the cleanliness of the waiting area, lobster tank, restaurant and bathrooms. Very impressed. Our waitress Luna was what every server should be when dining out. Super sweet and knowledgeable, not pushy but not un-attentive. I was out with my niece and my toddler daughter and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was cooked perfect, the lobster lovers dream is way too much food lol but i enjoyed what I could eat. Manager brought over my niece's salad and apologized for it coming out late (it really didn't, but very nice of them to be concerned). This is definitely my new main red lobster. Worst restaurant I ever walked into. The host was super clueless and we eventually ended up going to the bar to sit around dirty left over drinks and a bill and for 15 minutes not even a clean up or a greeting. I was so over it because so many employees behind the counter at the bar and they were all standing by the end of the cash register hiding from work. This reflects the management and it is horrible. There were people there waiting for a drink for over 40 minutes. It was a shame and sad that I made my husband bring me here to finally eat red lobster for the first time in over 10 yrs and was expecting to enjoy my evening tonight but nope that wasn't the case. Well we visited them on 10/25 and the wait was nearly 45 minutes, but that's the norm for any of the restaurants around Tangers. Besides that our waitress was very attentive, the food was hot and delicious and all in all we enjoyed our dinner. The place is very clean, not like it was when it was Joe's crab shack. This will be our new Red Lobster , we used to visit their Copiague location. If you visit before 4 or on weekdays the wait isn't bad or at all, but weekends after 5 expect a long wait. read more

I visited here yesterday to (pickup) my order. My first impression of the "ladies" who were taking care of the "pickup" area were that they were extremely rude to other customers. Considerating that it was Mother's Day However, I was able to pick up my order and leave until I realized half of it was not in the bag. I returned to the counter (pickup area) where I just received my food and was told, I'm not dealing with that right now! I was confused another girl laughed and asked what's the name on the receipt? I told her my name. She said NO who took the order. The other lady who made the statement "I'm not dealing with that right now" jump in a grabbed my receipt and asked what's missing? While rolling her eyes. Long story short, I was able to receive all my items that were missing. However, once I finally got home half my food was cold due to rudeness!! Tried to place my order online it didn't work, said I had to call my order in. Spoke to someone that I thought was at that location but turned out to be someone out of a call center in Florida that never placed my order when I went there a half hour later to pick it up. So I place my order waited another 30 mins...guy comes out not sure what I ordered thought I had everything upon first glance only to find out they forgot to include my dragon broccoli. Looked beautiful when we walked in. Seated quickly (which for a Saturday evening I was surprised) We placed our order and the food came out really fast which was great. Well when it came out the presentation of the food on my plate was so unappealing, the Admirals Feast sounded great and looked great on the menu however the clam strips looked like a bunch of broken pieces of bread crumb as if it was the bottom of a frozen bag of clam strips you would get from the frozen section of a grocery store bag of clam strips! And very few. The way my plate looked was awful I was surprised that they even served it this way, the scallops were mini and overdone as well! Actually the worst presentation I have ever seen. Its Red Lobster so not expecting much but this was really awful! Also had the Snow Crab Legs with side of rice and fries. Presentation wasn't good again the Crab legs were mostly shell not much inside at all, the side of rice was dried out and cold. Oh the fried calamari appetizer, that was pretty good! Ordered a mothers day meal at 12:00pm for my wife and mother in law yesterday for delivery at 3:30 pm. Now understanding it was mothers day we anticipated a slight delay. Needless to say the food never showed up. After many attempts to call restuarant and nobody ever picking up phone or getting a courtous call after 5hours of no show. And the doordash apt.was also useless, they just kept changing the driver and after about 3 hours never listed another driver to call. So if anyone plans on ordering delivery from Red Lobster in Deer Park i would think twice their service (manager Juan) very unprofessional. read more

I don't understand how if you are a seafood business you can't make sure the food is cooked properly. The ambiance of the restaurant is much different than the older ones. It is not as dark and lacks that "home-y" feel. Our server Danny was very attentive to our needs and kept the conversation going while checking on our food and experience frequently. The sole reason I am giving 3 stars is the food. It came out extremely fast, which usually isn't something to complain about. However, our salads came out with the appetizer and our main meal before we started our salads.
