When we went, the food was always right, but they would periodically check in to see if it was tasty or good. One time, the food was delivered incorrectly, but the rest of the family didn't seem to mind because it was still good. My wife's mother-in-law, however, was annoyed. Got endless shrimp tonight which ended quickly after the grilled shrimp skewer I got tasted like the shrimp was rotten of course I didn't know it until I bite into it. That was the end of the meal for me, I couldn't get the rotten taste out of my mouth. I had to wait for water and coffee refills to help with the rotten taste out of my mouth. Stephanie was AMAZING!!! We live in Frankfort but we happen to be in Cincinnati for business and stayed at a local hotel. We were greeted by Stephanie and our experience was amazing! I am a General Manager and have been in macro 30 years and she would be working for me now!!! She really went above and beyond and the atmosphere was amazing!! I could tell the staff all seemed to enjoy being there, I heard an employee singing and that's something I enjoy it shows the managers are creating a great work environment!! I didn't merry Katie or Amanda but heard their names. As a lifelong Manager I recognize the small things!! I wish we lived closer because this would be our new favorite spot!! NOT IMPRESSED VERY UNHAPPY!! If I can give this a zero star I would for todays service. Not satisfied with this location today with the food. The biscuits came out very doughy and chewy. My rice was under cooked and disgusting , our waitress even forgot to bring me my crab crackers even after she stated she will get them for me had to use the butter knife as a hammer to break my crab claw. I ordered Uber eats from your location tonight. Out of four menu items, only one had the sauce it comes with. Very disappointed.

This location is easy access to interstate 75. We had changes to the party size at last min which was an increase after the table was set. Kathleen pulled it all together in the end and also made sure we had the service with two servers. The food was fresh and hot. We had a large party and most ordered the unlimited shrimp so we kept the servers hopping. In out travels, we have eaten at many other Red Lobster locations and I can say this one is at the top of the preferred list. Will visit again when in the area. read more

My family of 4 plus my daughter's boyfriend went to this location on a Friday night. I used Open Table to get our names on the wait list as this is usually a super busy restaurant on the weekends in Florence. Luckily, we were seated with in 5 minutes of arriving. Our waitress was at the table with in just a few minutes getting our drink order. She brought those quickly and the appetizer and biscuits came out just as quick. We ordered a variety of choices from the menu. The waitress was quick to explain different options for each meal, as well as tell us her favorites. She was amazing at filling our drinks and clearing the table as well. She brought lots of to go boxes and even a bag of biscuits fresh from the kitchen to go. I truly wish I would have gotten her name as I would love to give her praise by name. Our food was perfect. The only thing that I was not pleased about is the lack of receipt at the end of the meal. They have the small electronic kiosks to allow you to review your receipt and check out from the table. This is a great feature unless you are paying with cash which is something we do regularly. We had to wait for her to come by the table and then ask if we could pay with cash. She said yes. Took the cash and then disappeared. We never received a receipt or saw her again. We joked that we hoped the bill had been taken care of as it was a larger amount. I'm sure she did, just would have liked a paper receipt showing we paid. read more

Some things just aren't as good as you remember. Nostalgia. There is a serious dearth of chain restaurants in LA, so I like to visit them when I'm back home. The memories of the Red Lob don't hold up. Even the heralded cheese biscuits aren't as good as I remember. Shrimp was mushy and clearly not fresh. Caesar salad was watery. One bad, one medium, one good part of this evening.? As a solo dinner sitting by myself at the bar I do expect some attention from the barmaid. I will not name the barmaid, and she did her job but had a gruff attitude, mostly because she was run off her feet because she was not being supported by the table staff (not a lot a bar tender can do if they run out of glasses because tables haven't been bussed). However, I feel she could have been a little more pleasant. The times for the happy hour are not advertised and the times for the weekday specials are hidden in tiny text on one page (11am-6pm). I missed the time for the specials and was going to leave until I struck up a conversation with the greeter Sean. Sean was so pleasant, conversational, convivial and funny that after a 10 minute conversation I did decide to stay: ordered food and another beer. Unfortunately, I was far from impressed with the $19.99 combo. The golden fried whitefish was minimal in quantity (4 small pieces) and dripping with fat. There were a good number of coconut shrimp and although tasty, but the pina collada condiments were straight from the fridge and the temperature overwhelmed the fried shrimp. In two hours I was only provided with one basket of four biscuits, which were cold by the time my food arrived (and should have been refreshed). I was at the bar and watched multiple tables uncleared for over 20minutes. (Note; I did get fresh biscuits when I asked). However, despite many negatives about the servers and food, I do want to specifically name check Sean again. He talked with me for fifteen minutes or more without losing attention to his main duties, and made my night as a solo diner very enjoyable and, in fact, quite fun. Hey Toto, I'm not in Detroit, where's my perch?? Stopped here because the roads in the area are absolutely horrible. Cincinnati has set a record for snowfall. No place close to drive, what to do? I have been to many Red Lobsters throughout the US and this one did not live up to the name. Hubby and I ate on a Thursday night at 5: 00. My salad arrived lukewarm and wilted. There was a strange smell (I believe it was bagged lettuce) to the salad as well. I had to ask if catfish was available as it no longer shows on the menu. The fish had a very strong fishy smell, which indicated that it was not fresh. My baked potato was about the size of a golf ball and was very hard. I was quite disappointed in my meal. I will say that our server was very attentive. Hubby and I could barely hear each other speak secondary to the music which was much too loud. We asked that it be turned down but it never was. The couple across the aisle also commented about the loud music. I doubt I will return to this establishment. read more

Went here for lunch today around 12:30. Fairly busy and starting to pick up. I was greeted and seated right away. I ordered a cosmo which Judy, the bartender made perfectly!! She was upbeat and made me feel welcome, as well did the manager. My salad was crisp, cool, and fresh. My trio of shrimp was tender and juicy. The lobster mashed potatoes were creamy and hot. I don't like seafood at all, so for me to rate this place a three is a big deal. I went here for my friend Zack's birthday. I was worried because I usually don't even like the smell of fish, but since it was his birthday I figured I'd just deal with it. I worried for nothing, this place smells amazing! I ordered the Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo, chicken at a seafood restaurant (I'm weird, I know.) This was really delicious chicken though! And reasonably priced for 13.99. The best part though, was the cheddar biscuits. Yummy! I definitely wouldn't mind to go again for the chicken, and I even bet the fish wouldn't be bad based on the smell alone. I won't be willing to find out though due to previous experiences with fish, and the texture just seems odd to me. The 2nd variety of napkin reminded us of bathroom paper towels, which we did not like and the quality was poor (very thin).
