Somehow I've never been to Red Lobster before. I decided to fix that. When I arrived there was some type of warbling alarm outside, thankfully you couldn't hear that inside. What you could hear was their Lobster tank. That thing was loud and clearly needs some maintenance. The inside atmosphere somehow give meaine vibes, which is funny because I've never been to Maine. The lighting is on the darker side, but not too bad. Overall a clean and welcoming place. I ordered the Ultimate Feast ($43). I got two Maine Lobster tails, Walt's Shrimp, and Shrimp Linguine Alfredo. Plus my Sides were Lobster topped Mashed potatoes (+$6) and Roasted Asparagus (+$3). I had also asked for some Dragon Shrimp, this was initially forgotten so I got it for free, just a little delayed. Okay I've had their Cheddar Bay Biscuits before from the grocery store and they were okay. I finally see what the hype is. Fresh they are so much better. They almost melt in your mouth. Simply fantastic. The Lobster was good, however there was a rubbery tastes and feel to parts of it. My guess these were frozen and some point. Still overall enjoyable. The 3 shrimps were all excellent, probably also frozen to start, but I couldn't taste it. The Walt's Shrimp was nice and crunchy and paired perfectly with the Cocktail sauce. The Shrimp Linguine was delectable. The Alfredo sauce was yummy and pasta was perfectly cooked. The Dragon Shrimp was excellent. The shimp had a nice crunch to it and the Dragon sauce had a little kick in it, together they make a wonderful combination. The Lobster topped mashed potatoes were very good. The lobster seemed less rubbery and the potatoes creamy and tasty. I don't think it's worth a $6 upgrade, still a nice combination. The asparagus was properly cooked, I would like to see it in some type of sauce. That being said, I don't see why it's a $3 upgrade. Plus the soda was another $4. Overall the food was all enjoyable and my stomach was happy. The service was fast and friendly. Everyone seems to work well together. Overall a 4 star review. Obviously this isn't a high end seafood restaurant and also obviously the ocean is nowhere near here so some freshness is lost. Would I return? The service was amazing, Anna went above and beyond making sure our food was perfect, we had enough refills, & biscuits, the ambiance was soothing refreshing from all the daily outside noise. What a great experience! The way we came in was a maze but we found it. GPS did a great job. Big parking lot with lighting that is close to the restaurant. We went around 4:00pm and the restaurant was quiet. We were greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant was clean, well decorated and smelled great. Super impressed. Our waitress Rachel was prompt and came by to take out a drink order right away.She was friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable. I ordered the margarita flight. I was reading in the menu that if you order the sangria a dollar goes toward The make a wish foundation. Love that idea! They also have an under the Sea purple drink that has glitter in it! Come on now.. How could you not have a good day with a glitter drink! We ordered the create your ultimate feast for $40.00/ea and had enough food to eat tonight for dinner and leftovers for lunch tomorrow. One of my choices was the steak and the cook Logan knocked it out of the park. What a perfect piece of meat, medium rare, was produced at a seafood place. This was our first post quarantine restaurant and we chose Red Lobster. We were craving lobster for some reason, so we had to come here. When we arrive at the restaurant was pretty empty compared to other restaurants in the area, so we were seated right away. One of the best part of the restaurant experience was actually our waitress. She was really nice and very professional. Their menu was shortened apparently due to Covid, but their choices were still sufficient even for a picky eater. We both ordered the lobster tail and sirloin meal. The lobster didn't blow me out of the water as I don't think it was really seasoned at all, but it also didn't necessarily taste bad. The steak another hand was very dry and tasted like it was heated up in the microwave too well done, even though I asked for a medium steak. For paying nearly $75 meal, I was very disappointed between the steak and lobster. The Caesar salad was also pretty disappointing as it was small and there was a core of the lettuce in my salad. Besides the amazing rolls, the mess potatoes were really good! Overall I would give this experience a six out of 10 or a three out of five. I think I would come back but I definitely would not order the steak or lobster. read more

I went their with my family for a birthday celebration. We all got drinks and they were amazing. Not very strong though. We ordered stuffed mushrooms for appetizers and they were really delicious. For dinner I ordered create my own with shrimp scampi, bay scallops and coconut shrimp with broccoli and baked potatoes. Everything was really good! The coconut shrimp was definitely my favorite. Other people ordered steak and turf and ultimate feast. And they had good things to say about their food as well. We were all stuffed by the time we left. The biscuits are also really good. The waitress, first initial K, was friendly in the beginning and at checkout time -but also rude and patronizing during our meal. We didn't feel welcome, instead more like we were bothering her. I would NOT recommend getting unlimited shrimp at this restaurant. The restaurant only had two other tables occupied -but we had to wait 15-20 minutes between getting our shrimp replenished -and we were only brought 6 shrimp at a time. So be prepared to have a VERY long meal -or leave hungry. We were there over 2 hours. Finally, don't ask for dietary accommodations, I felt like I was severely putting out the waitress. I don't want to mention her name, perhaps she was having a bad day -but she was incredibly rude and it ruined what would've been a nice dinner. The caesar salad was excellent!! all leaves were covered with an extra amount of dressing and the croutons were very tasty. Lobster bisque was very good although there wasn't that much lobster in it - still tasty! Very unimpressed with the wagyu burger, As you can see in the picture the burger is extremely undercooked, I asked for MEDIUM WELL and the burger was very bloody. It's hard for me to rate them at 3 stars, I am not one to complain and normally have a great time but as soon as we arrived the host took a long while to find us a seat even though there were plenty of places to sit and after being served salad our server walked away and we sat there for 10-15 minutes unable to eat because we were not given silverware. She was kind and did great beyond that though. Food was good as always. Seriously so happy we stopped here tonight. Sat at the bar and Kengi (hope I'm spelling that right) was on top of her game. Shortly after Mike was as well. The place was busy-to be expected for Mother's Day. The food wait was not bad at all. Had the mushroom appetizer and it was good. The shrimp skewers-not so much. Didn't seem cooked and rubbery. However-o the bright side-that gave us the opportunity to meet the manager Sandy. Wow!! She was so kind and outgoing and fun....only to hear she had been there since 6am (now going in 8pm). My wife and I had gift cards and so we came during a very busy time during a date night of ours. We had to wait for a table so we garbed a drink at the bar. The first thing I noticed at the bar was the specialty drinks. They had a fair amount. I assume they are expensive though since the drink menu didn't have any prices. We got our table and our server was awesome. She was incredibly polite and helpful. She joked with us and overall just made our dining experience a whole lot better. Our meals were great. The portions were massive though. I had surf and turf with a NY Strip and lobster. It was great but it was definitely a king's feast. My wife had a dish that I cannot remember now but she enjoyed it. We didn't get dessert because we were so full from the dinner. This was my first time ever going to a Red Lobster and I really enjoyed it. I'll come back again sometime for another date night. I'm a disabled woman who came in with my boyfriend. They sat us in a corner right next to a waitress station in an area with large top tables. Our waitress was basically ignoring us& was more concerned about her large top tables. We were treated like a nuisance to her. She would only come to our table for 45 seconds or so and would walk away while we were trying to talk to her about our orders. One time she rushed back to her larger tables while we were in mid sentence. We felt ignored, dismissed. She told us to order our drinks on that dirty fingerprint covered computer,Distracted & totally not even listening to us. By the time I got one drink , she had already gotten drinks & appetizers to a table of 5 that came in about 10 minutes after we did. She was short with us even though she pretentiously smiled at us. She just kept rushing off and didn't care about our service at all. Also the bathroom was filthy. There was used paper-towels all over the floor, water all over the counters & mirrors & the floor was muddy. In the stall where I reluctantly went to the bathroom, there was feces drips on the inside of the door. We decided to just pay for the 2 drinks we purchased & go to another restaurant. Since I'm having 2 surgeries back to back this was supposed to be a special evening for us since I won't be able to go out for a while. This is the first time I have ever yelped but it was very upsetting. I will NEVER go to that Red Lobster at that location again. It simply was a terrible experience. I give them - 4 stars. read more

I absolutely love Red Lobster because it is a decently priced easy seafood meal. One of my favorite foods is shrimp and Red Lobster offers a variety kind of shrimp (popcorn, wood fired grilled, fried, scampi, etc..). Today, my mom and I split the Walt's favorite shrimp and wood fired grilled shrimp. Walts shrimp was lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. For $15.99 it comes with 2 sides and a ton of shrimp. The wood fired grilled shrimp comes with two skewers served over a bed of rice with one side. It was delicious, the only downfall was the shrimp were small. Overall, you can go wrong with shrimp from here and to top it off... the fresh baked rolls that come out beforehand are delicious! read more

They were super short staffed and a bunch of people including the manager rushed to get a table cleaned even though I was told 15-20 minutes. I am here to say that our waitress who was the manager was amazing. The other servers were busy so she took care of us herself! We left good tips and I hope she was able to keep the money. Ordered the mussels for dinner. When I started eating them I noticed some of them were closed. There were six that were closed, which the cooks should have noticed and never sent out. They are dead and inedible at that point. I get 1 or 2 being that way, but 6??? That's unacceptable. I am a server in another seafood restaurant and that would never be served. When the manager came out, she tried to say that the mussels come in a bundle and so they don't know if they are dead. They do when you cook them and that aren't open. What she should of said is "I'm sorry that happened, that never should have been served and I'll take that off your bill." I had to ask that it be taken off and I felt like I was argued with and that I was wrong. I will never be back here again. read more

My friends are 74,94, and I am 90. Janet and I no longer cook. When we want to pamper ourselves and eat a great meal we go to Red Lobster or First Wok I buy all my Christmas presents at Red Lobster. One gift card was returned because Holland, MI no longer has a Red Lobster. and she has no transportation to Grandville. We have always had great food. We are not fussy eaters, but being Dutch we know good food! We have always had great service and wonderful food. We have never had dessert there as we can hardly finish our dinners and I always have left overs to take home. I find the chairs uncomfortable, so we eat and leave. My parents took me here tonight and I was really skeptical because 6 years ago I took my mom for lunch and we were seated by the bathroom and it smelt so bad you couldn't eat. Tonight we were seated in the same booth and it still smelt so bad you couldn't sit there. They moved us to the other side of the restaurant which was fine but we placed our order, pick two and I ordered flounder and shrimp scampi. Took a very long time to get our food, other ppl that got there after us had there food before us. The flounder was thin like tissue paper, had no flavor and the portion was sooooo small it looked like something dead on your plate. They put a large portion of broccoli on one side and that had no flavor either. The shrimp scampi was the only thing edible. They offered me a piece of lemon cake to take home and that tasted like an old shoe. My mother's shrimp was way over cooked and they brought her a new plate which was much better. The waitress was nice and the manager was very nice and took the food off of our bill. I mentioned the smell in the first seating area and she said it was a sewage back up. This location is really going downhill. The last two times we went here, the service was slow. Capacity was at 25% so it was not busy. After tonight, I will probably not be returning. I put us in line via the red lobster app because we actually go there frequently. Put 3 of us in line at 6:46pm, the app said 60 minutes. We checked in at 7:11pm and they told us 45 minutes. We check back in at 8:00pm and they told us we were at the top of the list. We literally sat in the car and watch them sit 3 more tables. It is now 8:45pm and I still have not received a text that my table is ready. Won't be returning anymore. read more
