Took my wife today, the biscuits were good, but everything else sucked. The sweet tea was way off, undrinkable. Caesar salad was way off, old wilted lettuce drenched in dressing, so bad we refused to eat it. All served by a guy about 20 years old, whispered like a girl when talked. We sat forever waiting for the undrinkable sweet tea. The tea came out with our complete meal. Tea and biscuits should have come out first, followed by the gross salad a few minutes later. Then the main order... but, no, everything came out at the same time, and everything sucked. Came here on the 4th of July and it was kind of dead and the hostess asked if we minded sitting in the bar area. That was fine and we were fortunate to have Lizzie as our server. Since there was no one else in the bar area we had her undivided attention and she was awesome. We started with cocktails (Old Fashioneds, which were just okay. A little too sweet for me) and appetizers. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was great as was the garlic Parmesan crab dip. Yum! The cheddar bay biscuits were good but could have been baked a little bit more. I had the crab imperial and grilled shrimp combo. The crab imperial was really good. The grilled shrimp were lukewarm and overcooked. The salad that was served with the meal was really good. Overall, it was a good meal and the service really made this experience great. read more

Food has went really downhill. I was really saddened by how poorly the food tasted. This used to be the spot to go. The salad dressing was even bad. Bread was room temperature not warm so greasy to taste. I should have figured out that it was bad by the empty parking lot on a Saturday night. Just an FYI you are not allowed to take leftovers home..we only had one refill of 2 kinds of shrimp but cannot finish it.. we were not told ahead of time about the limits.Instead it was embarrassing when we were accused of order piling to take shrimps home. The cheddar biscuits were delicious, as always. We were a party of 4 and on a Tuesday night at 7pm walked right in. There were at most 10 tables sat at that time. Our waitress was prompt and the service was excellent. I got the 4 course meal for $16. The Clam Chowder was excellent, the Caesar salad was average, and the grilled shrimp entree was bad. The shrimp was over cooked and dry. It was served over rice that was dry and tasteless. Another in the party order the 7oz Sirloin, which was very thin and dry. I question it being 7oz. She liked her broccoli and baked potato, and brought the steak home for the dog. Also ordered was the kids chicken tenders and the Broiled Flounder. The kids meal was okay, and the fish was too dry. So all in all, the meats ordered were all overcooked and dry. The food was definitely below average this time. However, my meal also came with a warm brownie and ice cream that was delicious. My husband and I usually have a good experience at Red Lobster. We decided to go for our anniversary since we were craving seafood. It was a mistake. We purposely went on a Monday night so there wouldn't be a long wait. We still had to wait over 45 minutes to be seated and once we were seated we didn't get our drink order taken for over 10 minutes. Service was extremely slow. The waitress never offered the special, so we weren't even aware that there was a special going on until the tables around us were receiving their food. Refills were never offered. We had to ask several times for napkins. The food wasn't worth the money at all. 10/10 - do not recommend. Save your money and go to a local restaurant. read more

When we questioned the reception staff they told us that they didn't want to put tables together for our group because it takes away from the smaller groups. Don't order thru grubhub because they NEVER get it right. I got two salads asked for blue cheese but got no dressing. Asked for butter and sour cream for baked potato GOT NEITHER. Got crab legs but no butter and no biscuits. Asked for tarter sauce but NONE. When you spend close to $100 you would think they could double check to make sure it's right. Brought the family in tonight for Endless Shrimp. Pretty disappointing experience. I used the app to get us on the waiting list from my house. At that time, it was a 10 minute wait. It takes about 10 minutes to get there with traffic so 15 minute eta should be fine. Put us on the list, for confirmation and we headed downtown. Upon arrival on time we saw a nearly empty restaurant - table wise but a ton of folks waiting. Was told even though I checked in, there would be an additional 15 minute wait - even though the app said otherwise. Irritating, but things happen. So we sit down and wait. 15 minutes rolls by and I get a pop up email saying my waiting list cancelation had been successfully processed. So back up to the hostess stand which had no one at it... I waited and once someone returned after several minutes, I explained that I hadn't canceled my place and would be extremely pissed if I had to wait much longer due to their technology fail. Was assured that wouldn't be the case and sat back down. True to her word, 5 more minutes and we were seated. Lesson here... app is a waste of time and actually delays your seating. Once seated, was greeted by Christian who throughout the meal was an attentive and humorous server. If I could rate the server alone, he'd get 4-5 stars. Food not so much. We ordered the shrimp potstickers as an appetizer. Supposed to be served with sauce on the side according to the pictures and descriptions in the menu. These were so over cooked that the kitchen put thick sauce on top of them to cover up the fact they were hugely over cooked. Most of my shrimp dishes were fine. The last batch of garlic shrimp scampi came out cold as ice, no sauce and was so bad I couldn't even eat them. So bad in fact that it inspired me to waste a good bit of my time to write this underwhelming review of just how bad it truly was. At no point did we see a manager checking on customers or anything else. Will I come back? I doubt it - not for a long time. This seafood lover will go elsewhere. read more

Prices are getting much more expensive, the menu is getting sparser every time we go. We had a longer than quoted wait time, which happens. But when we walked in, most of the tables were empty! It took over an hour to get out food. You would think that when you pay $32 for a meal they would include a SALAD with it (like they used to) - but now you have to either substitute a side for a salad or pay $4 extra!! We did have a problem with the order - and no manager ever came out to see what was wrong. The server fixed it. Very disappointing. I understand it's difficult to find workers now as everyone is paid to stay at home - but don't let that interfere with the quality and quantity of your food. read more

My fried shrimp were soggy on the bottom, the scampi butter sauce sloshed one on them, that was disappointing. My husband and I went to eat there to eat before a concert. My husband is currently in a wheelchair due to a broken ankle. We were supposed to meet some friends for dinner. The hostess refused to try to find out where my party was sitting (they were not busy at all, concert was starting) told me to go look myself! After walking the whole restaurant twice we figured they had went on over to the concert. How come, despite how many empty tables there are, you've always got to wait at least 15-20 minutes to be seated at a Red Lobster? My complaints end there. My mom is in town visiting me and she'd seen the ads about the Festival of Shrimp on TV. Despite not being a seafood person, we gave in to her whim. I feel like we were rewarded and then some. All three of us ordered different two different shrimp dishes each and they were all expertly done and tasted OUTSTANDING. I'm not sure they could've done any better. It was DELICIOUS. Normally I absolutely love the food! Biscuits to die for and stuffed mushrooms... but on 2-22-19 the experience was less than fabulous. We were there for two hours before our food even came out. (30 min wait time included) Our food was dropped in the kitchen and had to be remade. When the food came it was less than what would be expected. The lobster tails looked as if they were put in the microwave. The meat was pulled away from the shell and was very tough. The fried shrimp had an aftertaste of chemicals as if it were dipped in a cleaner then coated and fried. Steak was so tough a steak knife had difficulty cutting it. All in all, the only thing great about the experience was the manager's apology which he didn't owe. The chef in the kitchen needs to go back to culinary school. We were not the only ones to complain that evening but Mike, our waiter and the manager(sorry, I forgot his name) made up for it by apologizing profusely for the experience.
