I'm very particular about the way my steak is cooked... rare but not raw is a challenge for many cooks/chefs. I attended a seminar last night at this restaurant and ordered my steak just that way, hoping for the best. Pretty quiet environment. Not busy but service was still slow and lack luster. My server did check in me a few times once my meal arrived. However; my appetizer arrived 1 minute before my meal. My meal was VERY disappointing. I ordered grilled trout. The trout was filled with bones (see photos) and severely overcooked. My trout was so dry, it was worse than canned tuna. I'm so disappointed. Had lunch yesterday with my husband, we paid $54.00 for pastas. Husband had shrimp linguine and I had the crab carbonara. The shrimp was good but the crab dish was very dry it has tomatoes and bacon that had been sauted together laying on top, with a few crab scraps sprinkled on top. No salad just a couple cheddar biscuits served. We ask for more biscuits when our pasta came but never got any until we were ready to leave. We were the first people in the restaurant, I had to go get a couple to go containers. Our waiter seemed young and just learning. The next time I want pasta I will go to Olive Garden as there prices are way cheaper and they serve salad and bread sticks. My family and I had an amazing lunch today. We got there right at 11am when they opened and were the only ones there. The service was Amazing and friendly. They made some accommodation on the Bloody Mary for me by adding a few shrimp on the side since they no longer come that way. The server was very patient and polite by not rushing us at all and making sure we were well taking care of by continuously checking up on us even after others showed up. Been here three times and I have yet to have a good experience. From cancelling our valentines reservations to giving our food to other people then having to wait an additional half hour for food it has been horrible. I personally do not like white food as much, but even this was odd. They served a "spicy seafood boil" that had no spice to it in any way. Even calling in advance is difficult because they had a guy answer and tell is it was ok to be under 15 minutes late, just to be told when we got there that we were too late and it was cancelled. So lack of communication for sure. Its likely that this is not even an employee problem, but a management issue. I understand valentines day is your busiest night and there had might have been a mistake, but there is no excuse for the way the grown women was treated everyone who walked into the restaurant on valentines day. I understand it gets busy and you get overwhelmed, I work in food service too. But the way she was acting was downright rude and dismissive. I have always loved lobster but because of the price, I don't get it very often. So I was excited to get to choose RL in Kennewick for our 51st anniversary dinner. We were seated promptly, and we were told it was our server's first table. He brought us menus and took our drink order. Oh, 'we don't have Black Velvet. No, we don't have Angry Orchard.' The server recommended a whiskey for me that was horrid. I sent it back. Next drink was decent enough. Hubby ordered Crown Royal Chocolate double. 'Oh, we don't have the flavored Crown Royals.' I made a remark that I assumed an upscale restaurant would have a full bar. Our drinks came, no coasters, no straws and the Crown was a single. The young man said the rolls weren't ready. We were never offered more until we were done eating and then he asked if we wanted to take a bagful home with us. I ordered the Lobster Lover's Duo with mashed potatoes. Hubby had the salmon with brussels sprouts. He loved the salmon. My potatoes were barely lukewarm, the broccoli overcooked and limp. And to my greatest disappointment, both the lobsters were tough. So tough, they rolled away from my knife when I attempted to cut them. They were tasteless and I was expecting the sweetness and tenderness I have come to expect. I brought a coupon for the stuffed mushrooms and I asked for the military discount. It took our server quite a while to return and he said he was having trouble with the discounts. I looked over the receipt and he charged us for 2 Crown Royals. We only got one! I was going to take a $10 bill out of the tip to cover the nearly $10 he overcharged us for the undelivered drink. My hubby wouldn't let me say anything and he stomped out. I did tell the little gal at the reception desk and she said something about 'fixing this'. I said "no, he is pissed". Truth be told, I was the one that was angry and still am. I will share this miserable, expensive ($110) experience everywhere and I will never be back!! read more

We didn't rent a car and this Red Lobster is right across the street from hotel. Dungeness crab season started on Dec 1st. I called and confirm this have it at this restaurant. This is rare for a chain to carry off menu items. So I ordered dungeness crab. Unfortunately it wasn't from this new season. But their Tuesday special was snow crab for $24, which was a great deal. The manager should be terminated as he obviously does not have a clue about service standards and how to train staff. First off, our server had hideous long black talons. What gross and disgusting junk is hiding under those fingernails? The lack of service we received was incomprehensible given that we appeared to be the only ones in the restaurant. Everything was slow to arrive; at one point we were looking for an aid car in the parking lot in case the server had suffered a medical emergency!! When served, my chowder was tepid. It took another ten minutes before the server came back so I could tell her the soup was cold. My "endless" chowder and salad was a joke. It's easy to make something endless when the staff never shows up to offer a refill. But then, the quality of the chowder meant that I really didn't want a refill - clam chowder is usually thought of as having clams in it. We went there last night and normally the food is great but last night it was horrible my husband's rice and baked potato were cold, they informed us they were out of salad so no side salads. The rolls tasted like they had been reheated since they were dry and rather small. I always get the same thing Cajun chicken linguine with alfredo sauce and I love it but not yesterday it was made wrong instead of seasoning the chicken they just covered the top of my pasta with Cajun seasoning, the chicken was dry and the sauce had no flavor except for the Cajun seasoning they dumped on top. Well I hate to say this about our once favorite place to eat but the service management & food have really declined. We walked in yesterday another family was there and yet there was no one seat you. I waited 10 minutes or more and I finally went to the back where they cook and asked if anyone was working the front. I guess the couple there were boyfriend & girlfriend because when I talked to them they were in each other's arms. So another 20 min go by and finally someone came out to ask if we needed help. To tell you the truth we should have left than & there. Anyway we get to our table get drinks ordered. The crab was horrible it tastes like they had thawed it out more than once as well as cooked it. The food got there before we were given silverware we had to ask for everything. My daughter order a steak and they didn't give her any knife to cut it with. And these were young adults servicing us. I hate to say it but I understand why they lose revenue & why some of the Red lobster are closing. Use to be the ambience was great service too and food. I felt like they just threw the food at us & they were finished. We didn't leave a tip on a 200 dollar meal. Next time I will spend my $ elsewhere. read more

We both ordered clam chowder which took forever for it to come out, and was like warm. What a disappointment from the start and it was not even good tasting. Yes I should of sent it back, but I was starving and ate it anyways. Then to see my fish and chip order. One small piece that was thin and kinda chewy in spots, and that was all you get. This visit was so disappointing. We haven't been here in a little over a year, and, not only did we wait for a very long time to even order(on my husband's lunch break), but when we finally got our food, my catfish was not crispy, and my husband's fish and chips were so soggy that he had to send them back. He didn't order anything else, as the amount of grease had turned his stomach. My parents and I were in town and decided to have dinner here, we were seated pretty quickly and our server was nice. The problem started after we ordered our drinks, my dad and I got our drinks first but my mom had to wait a half hour to get hers,she got an mixed drink I'm not sure which one however. We also didn't get biscuits until 20 mins after we got there. After an hour and a half or so we finally got our food! However all of our food wasn't very good, the food tasted like they were sitting under a warmer for the whole time we were waiting. Over all the food tasted awful and the wait time was horrendous, our waiter was very nice though he did seem to get side tracked often forgetting to bring out more biscuits, but he did get us biscuits for when we left because we had waited for so long. read more

He had a horrible attitude and you could tell he didn't wanna be there. One of our orders was the endless shrimp and when asked for more he said okay and 30 min later still did not have the shrimp! So much for their advertisement. This was our first lunch trip with the littles to a fancy place. A step above Wendy's, our usual. We were running errands in Kennewick and jumped at the opportunity to try Red Lobster for lunch with everyone to enjoy a sit- down, rainy, gloomy day, warm meal together. Pedro was our kind server. Mind you, the last time I had eaten at Red Lobster was the day before I gave birth to my almost 4 year old. Pretty excited to order and enjoy! The crispy brussel sprouts came with a teriyaki kind of sauce on it which was not what I was expecting. The crispy portion were fried onions. 3/5 rating. The scallops were bland. The salmon was tender but also bland. Thankful to have a meal I didn't have to prepare, cook and clean up after.... but if I was home, I'd have been adding garlic and onion powder at least to make it flavorful. The service was great! The people around us were kind and understanding with my toddlers who decided that they weren't hungry and preferred a nap instead. It was nice to attempt a fancy family lunch. So Endless Shrimp = Slow Service. Came in on a Monday evening, place is somewhat empty. Seated in the bar cause I am alone. Ordered the Endless shrimp with 3 selections and a side salad with Ranch and asked for an extra ranch side, waited quite a long time to be served 15-20 minutes. Once delivered, without salad, ordered a refill of two items. About 10-15 min later the salad shows up after asking again, another 10 min before I had to ask for another side of ranch. Ordered refills several times and they were inconsistent in time to delivery. The ploy seems to be offer something cool but perform to deliver the minimum, if you are willing to wait, it's ok. but I have tried this several times and it is the same each time. Left hungry after over an hour and half. Slow service to avoid putting out product. I was alone in the bar and the regular seating visible was empty, so no excuse, I had plenty of time between servings to write this, so take it as you may. With the price of everything going up it would be nice to not be deceived by tricks. If you promise something, live up to it. Quit milking dollars for lackluster performance. Another reason chain restaurants suck. Server even confirmed multiple complaints of same tactic, C'mon Red Lobster, do better, make it a value instead of a ploy. read more
