I recently went to Red Lobster for my birthday with my family and it was an awful experience. Our waiter was rude and stopped mid order to glare at one of his coworkers. The lobster and crab was mushy. The broccoli was practically raw. and the baked potatoes were cold. Everyone seemed mad and It didn't feel welcoming. they didn't give us our drinks until they gave us our food and we had to ask them. If we didn't ask we most likely wouldn't have gotten our drinks. And my fathers Long island iced tea hardly had any alcohol in it. It tasted watered down. i don't recommend this Red lobster at all. I suggest going to a different Red Lobster. read more

I have to say that 3 of those stars SOLELY belong to our server, Brian! He was, by far, the best server I have had in a very long time! He was very attentive, personable and finally, a server who didntnact put-upon when asked for something! Service with a genuine smile! Red Lobster did themselves a solid when they hired him! Rolls were hot and good, that was about it. Drink refills were few and faaaarr between, even after asking for one. A single customer that arrived after we ordered was fed, refilled and served dessert while we just received our main dishes. Even then we had to pile dishes because the app dishes were never cleared. I had the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake, just pass. Bland would be an understatement, salt and pepper didn't help. I spent more time de-shelling everything, which I didn't expect, than eating it. We visited this location for dinner on 24 May 2023 22. Our table was wonderfully tended by Ms. Jessica K. Her service is the stuff of rare caliber. Her knowledge of the menu, willingness to offer suggestions, accuracy taking and delivering the orders, and timely attentiveness were perfect. She came to see us enough to make us feel spoiled rotten but infrequently enough such that we had time to give us time to talk and enjoy our stay. Her persona and charisma shined brightly while we were in her pleasant care and she made us feel like long-lost friends. Our highest compliments to her. We both got received our meals prepared exactly as we ordered and everything was tasty, temperature appropriate and visually appealing. Compliments to the kitchen! For all these reasons, we spoke briefly with GM Nate Greif to share our quick thoughts but we felt like Jessica deserved more than a short "chat with the boss" and we decided to take the time to tell you about her here. We have one recommendation for you ... make her a peer trainer for your new staff and ensure that she gets considered for management opportunities when she's inclined to move up to that level. We have eaten multiple times at this Red Lobster and literally can't get enough. They still have covid spacing so you aren't sitting on top of other tables. The servers are very nice and always on point with all my dietary requests. The food is cooked perfectly. Pretty much stick with the salmon, shrimp, and lobster combo and it is delicious! The kids menu is great too. My son always orders the kids lobster and my daughter gets the shrimp. It's always cooked perfectly! We like the cold shrimp appetizer. Just want to share my experience from last night at your Kennewick WA location. My husband decided to treat me to a nice meal amongst the crap going on in the world and the fact that we, in our county, still cannot sit down to a meal like normal people. He knows that I love seafood and ordered me the lobster lovers dream...a meal that costs $40!!!!! With that, he had to pay separately for fries (he was forced to get rice and mashed potatoes with NO choice for fries instead OR any kind of damn vegetable, and then CHARGED EXTRA for items that would have normally been included with our meal if we were at the restaurant, in this case, tartar sauce and cheddar bay biscuits. This is BEYOND ridiculous!! He paid over $50 for a meal for one person and then to add to the annoyance and frustration he showed up FAR ahead of the pickup time and only had four miles to make it home and my food was STONE COLD and soggy from sitting in the crappy plastic, condensation making crap containers. Four miles!! If that food was fresh the moment he picked it up, and since it wasn't ready when he got there. It SHOULD HAVE BEEN fresh, there's NO WAY that food would have been stone cold when he arrived home just four miles from your restaurant. If this is how your company treats customers trying to support local businesses in a time when many restaurant owners are facing closure of their businesses due to lack of business, I can PROMISE you I'll NEVER order another item from any Red Lobster EVER again and will share with my vast social network across all platforms the horrible experience we have had. This is deplorable and shows a complete and total lack of respect of the hard earned dollars of citizens working hard to not only stay afloat themselves during this nightmare of a "pandemic", but a complete disregard of our efforts to try to help out our local businesses. I like the all you can eat shrimp for $15.99 the Parmasean crusted shrimp were yummy, as were the shrimp scampy. I didn't care fore the sweet and sour shrimp they just were not very appealing to me, the shrimp linguine....well that one was horrible the shrimp were tough I don't know if they bought them already cooked and heated them up, or if they just over cooked them but they weretough and lacking flavor to the point I did not finish that dish, and that is not like me I love shrimp. The service was a bit slow but they were pretty busy, it took some time to get our drinks filled but our food orders for endless shrimp came fast. I am giving 4 stars because of the shrimp linguine, it was pretty bad the menu said to give it a little longer compared to the other dishes well that one came before my other shrimp, now I know why the linguine with shrimp was just not very good. read more

Went out with the parents for lobsterfest. The setting is actually quite nice. As we waited for seating, a couple of kids congregated around the lobster tank and one of the waitresses entertained them by taking a lobster out. Very nice to see that family friendliness. The staff were all professional, polite, and courteous. I did not feel any sense of rush or stress, even at peak dinner time. I ordered the lobster surf n turf. My parents split the lobsterfest ultimate feast. My steak was correctly cooked to medium rare. All of our lobster tails were delicious. I particularly enjoyed dabbing my tail in some of the steak gravy. For a lobster meal in the arid desert of eastern WA - Red Lobster in Kennewick definitely gets the go-ahead from me. read more

If you're ordering delivery, don't bother. We've only ordered delivery from them a handful of times, and have twice been disappointed. Once, the Seafarer's Feast didn't include the scallops. And tonight, my steak didn't have the add-on of skewered shrimp. The receipt shows the add-on. I believe we were fully compensated for the amount of our dinner the first time. I don't expect to hear from the manager tonight as I was informed they are too busy. While I appreciate the refund, having what I ordered when I ordered it is much preferred. Last night my family and friends went on for dinner. (Actual food was great) the service on the other hand, was terrible! For one, I was hit on the forehead with a plate by the waitress. It was an accident but come on..... also she didn't bring the plates as ordered for example my husbands plate and a lobster tail included and instead was given scallops. Oh also they ran out of salmon. So he has to substitute salmon for tilapia... in addition the lemons, straws and other condiments were not all brought at the same time so we kept on asking for things and can tell the waitress had enough of us. So with all being said I did leave a $10 tip, o realize it's not the appropriate amount but for all of the fails I feel it was plenty. My girlfriend and I were bummed that Red Lobster wasn't offering shrimp fest this year, we typically come weekly during the event but I understand the times we're in. I was happy to hear that on Mondays shrimp fest would be a special, well it just wasn't... So, my motivation to go here was economic. I was given a $25 gift card for Red Lobster after doing some talks to middle school students about my work a few months ago. Last night I was starting a shift at midnight, and since tha Lobstah closes at 11pm, I might as well go there for a free "breakfast". I brought my laptop and a book since I was dining solo; I was hoping for a booth, but at 9:30, they said they had no more booths, and were just seating folks in the bar. Ummmmm....ok. I grabbed a high table in the bar, and got all set up. I thought of a beer, but ended up getting a Mango Mai Tai---I regretted this...it was basically like a super sweet Koolaid. For my meal, I went with the popcorn shrimp & mashed potatoes (with caesar salad). Oh yeah, and don't forget the biscuits. Those biscuits are the bomb (probably not good for you, but they are the BOMB-diggity). My shrimp was were tasty, and the mashed potatoes were serviceable. I wasn't super hungry, so I ended up taking most of my dinner (and biscuits) to go---they'd serve as my lunch at 3am. My total came out to $23. Not bad. I gave my entire gift card to the server and a dollar. So yeah, for a chain restaurant , this place ain't too bad---you can't beat a free meal, right? read more

I admit the Cheddar Bay Biscuits drew me in. THEY ARE SO GOOD! I can't lie. Let's start with the hostess. As she delivered us to our table she said nothing to us. After we sat, she left. We felt like it was rude and that she could care less about us. Didn't bother to ask if our table was ok, who our server was, nothing. Our server was super nice, but also super slllooowww. You know at the end of dinner when you really just want to get the hell out of there? We waited for our check for at least 10 minutes or more after we were finished eating. Then we waited for him to cash us out. Another 10 minutes. Seriously? As for the food, we shared the 2 for $25 meal. We shared an appetizer (fried cheese sticks, yum!) which were really good, and plentiful (we got like 12, I was surprised). Then we each had a salad (fine, kind of on the large side). My boyfriend got honey and garlic shrimp which came with broccoli and rice. His shrimp was really good! I didn't like that they put the sauce over everything, as it made the rice taste kind of funny. Not bad. My Seafood Lovers Pasta should have been called Grease Lovers Pasta. Lots of super small shrimp, some small scallops, a few mussels, and a dish full of greasy buttery nasty sauce. Super disappointing and disgusting. It's like a place I go every 10 years because I forget that the last time it sucked, and I could go for some biscuits. Update: So we came back here last Monday, noticing that they remodeled the outside,hoping this might reflect changes to the staff as well. Luckily we were right, the service was night and day from our first visit. They actually had all of the food on the menu available, and the restaurant interior looks a lot more appealing and modern. Overall, we were really happy with the service, the food (considering it's a chain), and summer drinks they have on special. Definitely worth the trip now, and will come back again. Past Review on 3/9/13: By far the worst service I've ever seen and experienced. The hostesses were miserable to everyone coming in when we were waiting for our table. It took about 15 mins. to get a table in a half empty dining room. Then the server made us wait about 10 more mins. To get our drink order. Then when she told us that they were out of mahi mahi and salmon(at 6pm on a Saturday) we decided to leave and never return. It boils down to poor management I think. Once that changes, we will definitely try again. Until then, save your time, money and sanity by not going here. read more

It's a Red Lobster... I do have to say the staff here was extremely friendly and on point. I ordered the Shrimp Linguine A.K.A. plate of butter. It tasted pretty good in a "this is a nice guilty meal that isn't even remotely close to fresh seafood or Italian," sort of way. Then the pounds of butter, cream, and cheese hit me. As someone who never has a problem finishing a meal, I had to stop with a quarter of the plate left. This place has been here a long time, and it's been an up-and-down experience the entire time. The food has been relatively constant, but the service has ranged from good to abysmal. Once I had dinner here with my parents, and it's the only time in my life that my dad left no tip...zero. On that particular visit, I thought he was being generous. Good news is that the place seems to be on an upswing. I've been here a couple times in the last few months, and the help has been attentive and efficient. Part of that may be that they seem to be tremendously overstaffed during the lunch hour.....when I left there were 4-5 servers and the hostess sitting in the waiting area chatting. Regardless, they have earned tips. The food, however, is unremarkable. Maybe it's my fault, I like a little variety so I usually order a combination plate with several things on it. I've found, though, that the scallops taste like the shrimp, which tastes like the fish, which tastes like the clams, etc. Maybe they're cooking the combinations all in one pot, I don't know. But I'd expect garlic shrimp scampi to taste different than bay scallops....maybe it should have a hint of, I don't know...garlic? I can't criticize the service at this point, but for the price I think the food can be better. Right now, Red Lobster is Skippers with a bigger menu. read more

This place is so slow. Sadly the food is mediocre as well. You do know exactly what you are getting into when you visit. Maybe the service speed and quality will get better when there business slows down, but it seems people in the Tri-Cities are determined to support this place regardless. My wife has a dairy allergy and she was nice enough to go with me. We asked for vegetables with no butter. They said that was not a problem. Our food came out and we began eating. After eating a few bites the server swung by and said she did not check if her food came out without dairy. The vegetables turned out to be covered in butter not oil. We realized that we are responsible for where we choose to eat, but I expect an establishment to at least stand by its word or check. The prices are ridiculous.
