I was so excited to see a Red lobster after so many locations have closed down. We got served freshly baked cheddar biscuits, and these are so tasty. I ordered the shrimp and lobster linguine. There were large shrimps and chunks of lobster mixed with the linguine. I really enjoyed this dish. Overall, food and service is great here. read more

The atmosphere was good. Nice location just off I-5 at the Crater Lake Highway exit. The Rogue Valley Mall is next door and there are several Electric Vehicle charging stations nearby. The restaurant was clean and well laid out. I had the English style fish and chips. Everything was as good I really liked the coleslaw plus it was a bit larger than a lot of places serve. We were reluctant to try RL Medford again, past experience more than 2 years ago was disappointing. SURPRISE! Our experience this time was exceptional. The server Brook (with brown hair) was attentive and helpful, very pleasant. The food was exceptional; surf and turf a grand surprise, like a 5 star restaurant. The shrimp mean and roasted brussel sprouts also great! We met the manager ACE who was also interested in our experience. We will be back, and bring friends. We had such a great experience at Red Lobster! The staff was incredibly kind and patient, especially with our two energetic kids. They went out of their way to make sure the kids had fun--even letting them pet the lobsters! We don't usually have the money to go out often, but decided we wanted fish and chips. They were awful. Also, the clam chowder had no flavor. With the prices being so high, I can't understand the lack of quality. In the future, we'll just wait to go to the coast for the good fish. The service was very good! read more

Our group of 6 have gone many times before and it's always a delight! Not too loud so we can talk. And as usual the service was great. Our waitress Brooklyn did an excellent job. Came by often throughout the meal to make sure we were doing good and if we needed anything She was very welcoming and friendly too. The crab we had today was awful! We sent back one of our dishes of crab because it smelled soo fishy. And when the new came back it was just less fishy smelling but could still taste it was old. And my husband got the seafood boil and he didn't get into his crab till he was done with his shrimp and ate just a little piece and didn't eat anymore bc it was so nasty. We were having lunch with friends and when we got there for lunch we had to wait for a while. It was pretty busy. Once seated we were given menus and the waitress came shortly after to ask if we had questions and what we wanted to order. We ordered some wine and then got their famous cheddar bay biscuits. Nice and warm and always good. The group ordered the broiled flounder, fish and chips, lobster and langostino pizza, seafood mushrooms, crispy green beans. Just wanted to give a shout out to a Medford staple! We hadn't been there in a long time decided to have dinner there . It was early so not many people . Had the best most enthusiastic waiter ! I had scallops lobster and shrimp scampi . Crazy amount of food with baked potato and broccoli. Also their cheesy biscuits . Hubby had steak lobster and shrimp scampi. All were very good and not over cooked like so many do. When asked he said his sirloin was a bit tough so waiter immediately gave us our choice of dessert . Very nice. It's just good to know this restaurant that has been here for decades, is still staffed well and a great place to have seafood!! read more

I give this Red Lobster a 4 because the service was absolutely superb! Our server was Sophie or Sophia (sorry!) and she was perfect. She should be working in a higher end restaurant! So, the service I rate at a 5! However, the food left a little to be desired. The biscuits, which I normally relish and are my favorite, were too salty. The salad was good except that the bleu cheese dressing had too much vinegar in it and no chunks of cheese! Yikes! The ambiance was super nice. Very relaxing and the pictures and theme were all nautical. I love it. They did have a picture of a lighthouse, which I haven't seen before - at least not on the Oregon coast and it would've been nice if either the picture had the name of the lighthouse on it or if the wait staff has known which one it was. What is Red Lobster thinking taking popcorn shrimp off the menu? I won't be back. I don't really like anything else on the menu.

I was surprised when my husband recommended that we have dinner at Red Lobster. For years, he has always said that "everything you get there always taste the same". I, however, have always liked their biscuits and especially their crab Alfredo. Tonight, I was disappointed to learn that they no longer serve crab Alfredo, their biscuits are definitely different than they used to be, and the admiral's feast was probably the worst meal I've ever had. I can honestly say that we will probably never be back. Worst money we've spent on food in forever. I can understand why so many of them have now closed. Absolutely awful. I will not be returning. Let me start by saying that I went with my boyfriend on Valentine's Day. While I understand this is this busiest day of the year and expected to wait I was not anticipating waiting an hour and a half for food. Service was good. the server seemed to be new as she kept checking on us even interrupting our conversations to ask me if I wanted to purchase another beverage multiple times. 1 made my reservation for 7pm and was seated around 8 we placed our order around 10 minutes after this did not receive food until 9:30!! When food finally did arrive, my crab was still FROZEN! I was so upset. I ate the side dishes and sent the crab back I told my server that I did not want more as I did not want to wait another hour for crab. 10 minutes later she comes out with hot crab (Really we waited over an hour for food but all the sudden I can get it in 10 minutes weird but okay) and it honestly wasn't good the crab tasted fishy very obviously not fresh. While I was very upset the manager comped my meal (okay great) but the bill was still $80 dollars for my bfs food and our drinks. And honestly it wasn't even that good the broccoli was seasoned more than the steak. Very unhappy with my experience here as it is so overpriced for crappy food. Are server was really good but the food leaves a lot to be desired. My husband and I go there ever annversity and have for many years. But this time I had 2 lobster tails with baked potatoes and Cole slaw. We they set the plate down I said that's 50.00 I couldn't believe what I saw. Two very small lobsters. The lobsters were very close to being over cooked not very good, only got 3 to 4 bites out of potatoes had nothing on it but sour cream I asked about the coleslaw. The cheddar baybiscuts had no cheddar in them. My husbadhas alway orders the fish and chips normally a very large pice of fish after dipped and fried. What he got this time was 2 very small pieces of frozen fish deep fried mushy was terrible. Very few French fries. This was the worst we've ever had. I visited today for a treat, but it sure wasn't a treat. three people, adults , at the table and they only brought four biscuits and did not bring more despite being asked to. my son ordered the unlimited clam chowder and biscuits and was not offered any more chowder beyond the initial bowl. my iced tea was never refreshed and I was not asked if I wanted more. I did..the two men were drinking water and did get refills. one order was the surf and turf which was fine, but asked for more melted butter and it was never brought to the table my meal of stuffed flounder was ok but the broccoli was so salty I couldn't eat it. these meals are not inexpensive and I must say we sure didn't get value for our dollar. won't go back to that location, a huge disappointment. read more

The little cheddar bay biscuits were so fresh and soft and delicious, and the salads were crisp and fresh and tasty. Although the mature waiter was a pro and definitely knew what he was doing, we had to repeatedly ask for water or coffee refills, and a couple extra biscuits....he seemed a bit irritated that he had to do a little extra work. I haven't been to red lobster for quite a while but my mom and I went back yesterday and the cheese rolls were as amazing as I remember them, our coconut shrimp was really good except I did not care for the coconut sauce. There is a mustard marmalade at another restaurant that is way better I think, but my sister likes yours! I also ordered the roasted brussel sprouts and I have to say that's probably one of the top 10 best things I've ever eaten in my life! And I'm kind of a perfectionist. Bravo! read more
