There were about 15 of us for this lunch outing & our waitress was good & helpful. Our food portions were just right & some even more than others. I had clam chowder, a salad, & iced tea. Just the right amount for me. It was busy but not super loud surprisingly since we had a large group. The prices have jumped since my last time at this restaurant. I can't justify $46 for seafood.

It's been a while since we have been to Red Lobster, and we sat in Deb's area she was the best waitress we have had ever! She made the whole experience amazing!!! We got the 2 off the sampler plates, so we can split it between 4 of us and it worked out great! We all got to have, two different kinds of shrimp lobster and !! Everything was great!!!

For our 35th wedding anniversary, we went to the Red Lobster in Mesa, on Alma School Rd, a restaurant we have visited often over the years. I ordered my favorite, Salmon New Orleans with sides of Mashed potatoes and broccoli, and my wife ordered the Surf and Turf, with an upgrade to the filet mignon, a supposed 6 oz fillet. My diner was excellent and the server was just fine, but my wife's "filet mignon", was anything but. Their picture showed a normal 6 oz filet, usually about 2 inches think and round, but what we got was rather chewy less than 1 inch piece of meat that was NOT a filet mignon. The waitress took it back and later another lady brought out another "steak, that looked quite similar to the first. What these looked like was the filet part of a T-bone steak, thin and irregular in shape. It was also very chewy, not at all like a true fillet mignon. In the end we just put it in a box and took it home for the dog. A person, whom I believe to be the manager, did take off 20%, much appreciated and I did leave a large tip for a rather good waitress. Very disappointed in this meal and that is a first for this location, at least for us.

It's been a while since we've been there. Went with a couple of friends. The food was great. We got the all you can eat shrimp. All the shrimp are cooked. Great different varieties. Everything service was great. The waitress was really good. Make sure we had upcoming food or beverages were always topped off before they needed to be. The ambience in the restaurant was really good. We were able to talk with her happen to talk to Lower over music. Everything was pretty much on point at this Visit especially the food.

I had been here a few times since it first opened, but it had been a while since the last visit. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and sat. Our server was very friendly and attentive. What We Ordered: ~ Angry Edamame: Always love edamame, and add some seasoning with a little spice - perfection! ~ Snow Crab (trifecta, spice level 3) + corn: My usual go to, but wish I did Level 4 though the server talked me out of it saying it's a big jump between the two levels. Next time, I'm going for it! Pretty decent flavor, though I've preferred other crab boils in the valley recently. ~ Fried Oyster Po Boy: My boyfriend said he wasn't a big fan of this comparative to the ones he has had growing up in Florida. Definitely a pass for next time. ~ Hot Honey Blueberry Lemonade: Very refreshing and perfect for the Arizona heat. Definitely love to see this drink on the menu or seasonally. Overall, a great experience with a low key atmosphere that you'd expect for a crab shack. Love the sinks to wash your hands! A great place for us in the east valley to get our seafood boil fix.

She had a bigger group to attend to so was a little slow but understandable. Food was okay but for the price... Crab: 3/5. For $85 bucks they should provide scissors bc the crackers did not work on the soft shells so was a PITA to get out the crab. And the seasoning doesn't get on the crab so if you like it you have to dip back into the bag. Lobster Roll: 4/5. For $20 bucks it was small but it came with a good portion of tender lobster and melted butter for dipping. The cajun fries were also good. This was out second time at this location bc our kids and grandkids love it but we wouldn't go back of our own accord as we expect more at that price point.

We probably needed more drinks because nearly all our food was extremely salty. The calamari appetizer was salty and it overwhelmed any other flavor. Our main dishes came out just after the appetizer was put on the table. The waitress apologized but still put the food down so we felt rushed. The lentil and sausage soup had only two pieces of sausage in it and wasn't very good. The chicken parm was the only thing that was edible. The pasta that came on the chicken parm had a very strange flavor in the sauce and I couldn't stand more than one bite. The atmosphere was nice. They could have chosen better music, but that's a personal thing I guess. The restaurant was clean. All and all I told my wife we should have gone to Olive Garden or Sal's Gilbert Pizza. Parking 3/5 Arrived ~5:30 pm Monday dinner service. This location is hopeless during dinner hours because of all the businesses. Customers are literally competing for parking spots. Lunch service is great during the week the exception being Friday and Saturday. Atmosphere 5/5 Warm comfortable with a blend of table and booth seating. Date night nook, yes. There is one corner booth perfect for a more intimate dining experience. Service 5/5+ Big change tonight from our last visit! Tonight our server was Megan W. From the moment she arrived to introduce herself and throughout of visit Megan's timing was perfect; from orders, tea refills and the timing of starters, salads and our entrees. She accomplished all of this as the dining room filled to capacity and her tables increased. Note to GM Roger Hippen. If the Angus added server choices during the reservation process Megan would be our pick without hesitation. Food Shrimp Cocktail 4/5 We ordered the large shrimp cocktail which were large and served with a cocktail sauce. The garnish was a bit withered which made the Angus presentation attempt a fail. Garnish should be Chef's assistant final touch with fresh garnish. This didn't affect the shrimp which were perfectly cooked and were delicious. Honey Roasted Brussels 3/5 Tonight ok but not great. Whole Brussels with a light char were overly drizzled. The use of a stronger blue cheese actually neutralized the goal of the Honey's note. A light sprinkling of fresh Feta would complement the starters ingredients. Although present, the bacon flavor was also overcome by the blue cheese. Salads 5/5 Fresh, crispy vegetables with a nicely whipped vinaigrette, delicious. Entrees 5/5 I ordered two 16os Ribeyes and learned they were out. Megan quickly save the evening by recommend their Large Tomahawk dinner for two. Came with choice of four sides and the Steak to share. We picked sides of Baked potatoes, green beans and our Brussels were and upgraded side we enjoyed an our starter. Tomahawk 5/5++ The bone in Tomahawk is cooked to order and served brisket sliced alongside of its bone. Were had it cooked medium for maximum flavor. The presentation was leveled up from what you expect from an Angus but clearly they are boldly dipping in to the premium stake house market with this offering. The photo highlights the sear ring locking in the flavor which was tender, juicy and delicious. Nice Job Chef Mark M! $189.31 with tip. Get your Steaks on my friends-SYOY!

Authentic Mexican food sounded perfect and I knew good things were in store when I arrived at 11:30am on a Friday and all of inside and outside tables were full. The inside is quaint but has quite a few tables. They also have tables out front in the shade (to call it patio seating may be a stretch, just simple tables and chairs on the exterior of the entrance). You order your food at the counter and I didn't study the menu ahead of time but the ladies taking my order were patient with me. I ordered a shredded beef taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Nothing fancy for my first time as it's hard to golf on a full stomach! I found the only open table and then hit up the salsa bar. They have 4 or 5 different salsas/hot sauces and a few other goodies. I got a small cup of each sauce and all of them were quite good. My food was colorful, flavorful and just the right away to give me some energy without being lethargic. I could go on about a few other nice things but it seems most of East Mesa already knows about this place given the high scores on Yelp from a lot of reviewers. She let me know that they weren't expecting it to be busy and ran out of a ton of different things, so the day was kind of crazy. She told me that since i paid in person i could only get a refund in person and they couldn't do it over the phone. I stopped back in on my way home from our Mother's Day get together and it was a different supervisor and the kitchen was disgusting. Food everywhere, empty food containers on the counters. It's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants here in the Phoenix Southeast area. This restaurant is located in a strip mall on the south west corner of Greenfield and Baseline. When you enter the restaurant directly in front of you is a counter with a cash register and behind the counter is the kitchen. The decor has a very rustic Hispanic feel. I love the little Tile roof awning they have when you first walk in and throughout the restaurant. There's seating in a room to the right of the counter, in a room to the left of the counter and outdoor seating as well. When the weather is nice, we enjoy sitting outside. They have it warmly decorated with trees and plants, which makes for a very relaxing environment. On our last trip, Juanita was our server and she was fantastic. She paid very close attention to details like ensuring our drinks were filled and when I asked for some extra green salsa for my quesadilla, she quickly brought me enough to finish what I was eating with my dinner plus some to take home for my leftovers. They start you off with chips, salsa, and bean dip. They offered their red salsa which is very good, but I am absolutely in love with their green salsa. So upon request, they will bring you some. Their green salsa has a slight sweet taste to it. I love dipping my chip in the beans and then dipping it into the green salas. There's just something unique about that flavor combination. For dinner I had the Carne Asada quesadilla. I normally get the mango chicken quesadilla, which is absolutely delicious. They also offer it with shrimp. Pretty much any meat they offer on the menu you can get in your quesadilla. This is the first time I tried the carne asada quesadilla and it was fantastic. It came with diced up Carne Asada that was very tender, loads of cheese and guacamole inside. It was really good! My husband got a combo meal that had enchiladas and a chile relleno. He also enjoyed his meal. He ordered his enchiladas Christmas style, which is red and green sauce on top. He said his Chile relleno reminded him of the ones his mom makes.
