To be honest, I am thinking this Red Lobster needs a facelift and some new staff. The booth we sat in was busted in the seat - really need to do a modern update to the decor. Service was just OK, but I have had a lot better at other places. Nice but not going out of their way to please anyone. Food was good, I had the rainbow trout, blackened, very good. My son got 1 pound of Snow Crabs - I think for a child the portion size is huge along with the price of $18.99! My son had the all you can eat shrimp which ended last night, that might be a good thing. Price didn't pay for the quality of the shrimp. the hostess acted like she was at home and we were bothering her to seat us. she tried to seat us at a regular table and I asked if we could have a booth and she didnt say a word. I ordered shrimp cocktail and it was okay. being from Seattle i am used to fresh fish. then I ordered the ultimate and the green beans were soggy and not edible at all. waiter brought me two baked potatoes with only butter and sour cream.I asked him why he brought two baked potatoes and he said he didnt know why. I mean comeon... then I had to wait on him to bring me crab cracker so i could eat my crab legs. my husbands fried fish was really bad. they only brought him one big piece of fish. Plus, it was my birthday so I called the manager. after much complaining she finally agreed to pay for our meal and give us a freebie later on. Also, the silverware had food on it. Today was my first visit ever to Red Lobster. My fiance and me shared the lobster artichoke dip as an appetizer and both had Cesar salad and the Ultimate Feast with fried shrimp, cooked garlic shrimp, snow crab legs, lobster tail, rice pilaf, mashed potatoes and some dipping sauces/lemon butter. All in all, I really enjoyed it. The snow crab legs were my favorite, so sweet and delicious, and the butter lemon dip went perfectly with them. The rest also was good quality, no fishy smell or funky taste at all. Service was good too, attentive but not bothering you every few minutes. The place is clean and tidy. I take off a star because most dishes were a tad too salty for me, and it was pretty cold in there, we kept our jackets on the whole time. read more

My boyfriend heard an ad on the radio for endless shrimp last Thursday while working so he was CRAVING endless shrimp. I used to work at red lobster probably about 10 years ago and haven't been since. After 3 years of nothing but cheese biscuits and scampi I needed a good break. Well I agreed to get his endless shrimp fix so we went. We walked in around 7pm on a Thursday and there were 3 hosts/hostess' at the host stand. No one greeted us with a "welcome to red lobster" but rather they all looked at each other and then back at us almost as if they were confused that we were walking in at that time, again it was only 7pm maybe 7:30... they argued about who was going to help and finally someone asked how many were in our group. I advised only 2. We were told there were many empty tables but none were clean in the dining room but if we could find a clean table in the bar area we could sit there. We said the bar would be fine but I had to use the restroom so asked that they give us just a moment before seating us. When I got out that had cleaned a table and sat my boyfriend in the dining room which was great! Our server quickly came over and got our drink. We noticed a table top book with the weekly specials. The endless shrimp special on the table top book showed Monday only.. It was Thursday. My boyfriend was disappointed but saw that Thursday's special was the small ultimate feast. My boyfriend asked the server what was included in the small ultimate feast. She said "well unfortunately the special Only goes until 6..." so after all the excitement for endless shrimp and then the less/equal excitement for the small ultimate feast he just got the regular shrimp trio.. well about 5 minutes after she took our order we hear the table next to us order the endless shrimp. We were confused because it was never explained to us that endless shrimp was going on, even after we talked about the one special and we did not see it plastered in our menus like you would expect it to be. So we stopped our server and I said "I'm sorry but we came for the endless shrimp and didn't think that was going but we just heard the table next to us order it" our server rudely replied "well why wouldn't you think it was a thing..." ummm because you never told us about the special when you acknowledged our table.. even after we asked about the specials on the table top and it's not plastered in the menu. She turned the page to the drinks which had about a 3 inch paragraph about the endless shrimp... I just got to say that yes it was YEARS ago that I worked at red lobster but I remember we were expected to explain all the specials as well as the fresh fish and from the moment we walked in I just felt like we were an afterthought... not a good experience read more

Food is decent, but nothing we tried was fantastic except for the chedder bay biscuits. Service was good. Only complaint was that upon opening the silverware wrapper there was food inside. I asked the server for another set of silverware and the second set had a piece of a straw wrapper inside. Makes you wonder a bit about cleanliness standards. I'd been looking for a quick stop for some seafood so stopped here and got some things to go. I was disappointed to find that there were no crab cakes on the menu and they are only available seasonal according to the bartender who took my order. BTW, he's the main reason I give this 5 stars and would take a star away for the hostess who when I asked if I could order to go food she just said "you have to do that at the bar", no offer of a menu, which I saw directly in front of her and there were also to-go menus on the podium. She wasn't the hostess with anything close to the mostess. Lucas at the bar however more than made up for her lack of efforts in customer service. He was quick to take my order and was great at suggestions for additions to what I'd wanted to order. Definitely made the brief stop here more enjoyable. read more

Wow this location looks good inside and out since the renovations. It was looking bad. Had a early dinner with family and everything was really good. Our waiter was excellent, drinks were refilled, the bread basket was kept full and the food came out hot. The stuff mushrooms and shrimp cocktail was really good and our main entrees was also great.. Great service (when its not busy). The manager is wonderful and cares about the restaurant and its customers. However, I only give it 4 stars because my waiter had a bowel problem and was gone for 20 minutes, leaving his customers waiting for their bill. smh. This is your typical Red Lobster. I have always loved the food, and the reason it gets four stars is because I live in Arizona and not in Maine or California. Also, you can get just shrimp or crab, where as the higher end seafood places mix it into some monstrosity of a dinner. And, the biscuits. Amazing. Well let's start with the front desk staff are total dolls. However, it just goes down from there. I arrived to the table to see the dirty silverware that was awaiting me. To my surprise the server didn't apologize, so to prevent getting more dirty utensils I went to the front to get plastic ware. When I ordered my food I expressed that I had food allergies. And made it VERY clear that they must avoid acid and potassium. I also ordered my fish and green beans boiled and steamed. When my food arrived, you guessed it, there was broccoli and sautéed green beans in butter and lemon. The server was no where to be found so I had to seek out the manager to get the problem corrected. Some friends took me here for my birthday. My husband and hadn't eaten at a Red Lobster for over 15 yrs.(we tried one in CO, it was terrible) We are from Oregon and Washington state and always ate fresh seafood. The food we ordered took a long time to prepare, (there were only 5 of us, and the place was not crowded). I ordered a lunch combo with scallops and shrimp, came with a boring salad and baked potato. My fried shrimp looked like salad shrimp and the scallops were about 3/4 of an inch round, all this for a $11.79 (they were small portions). My husband ordered a crab sandwich it came with nothing, no pickle, french fries, just thrown on a white plate. Server was friendly but we had to ask for muffins and more ice tea. Came here on a Wednesday night and everyone was super friendly. Got sat down right away, and our server was very professional. He answered any questions we might have. The food was delicious. I definitely came in with eyes bigger than my stomach. Had a lot of left overs. I ordered the pick 2 combination and it came with a nice side salad (either Cesar or House), then it came with another side (I got french fries), and then I chose the shrimp Alfredo and the coconut shrimp. Super good. Came out piping hot. Our server always make sure that our drinks were refill and we are always happy. Definitely will come again. read more
