Our family brought us here for dinner since we were visiting for my sister's birthday weekend. Service was great! We had the calamari for appetizers - normally I don't like the calamari nuggets but these ones were flavorful. We also got the sampler as well and the fried shrimp and fried pickles were amazing! We got the Boil for TWO option that comes with: King crab, head-off shrimp, snow crab, 1 lobster tail, corn, red potatoes, and sausage. It was messy as expected but the Cajun seasoning was so delicious! Our server was great as well. Would definitely come back again :)

Overall a great restaurant. Just like all of their locations the food is great. It's a seafood boil. They serve the food in a bag. You get to choose the spice level. My go to is trifecta level 3. I highly recommend the snow crab and add on sausage and potatoes. For those with less adventurous taste buds they have typical stuff like burgers and fries. The bar menu is pretty good. Definitely get a spicy Bloody Mary. It's served with a crab leg in it. The food is really messy but they provide gloves and a bib. Notwithstanding, don't wear anything white (or nice). I personally prefer the original location in Mesa on Alma School but that's largely because of the atmosphere and patio. This location is in a new strip mall and seems a little inauthentic, but if you live in the San Tan/QC area this'll do. Minor complaint: the chairs are terrible. They are small little light weight metal chairs and the seats are angled forward so you're constantly sliding out.

Our family was craving the taste of seafood so we stopped by this new location. It was definitely a lot less crowded than the Mesa location so there wasn't much of a wait. Service was average in that the server wasn't all that friendly and she didn't check on us that often. At least our order was correct. The menu is about the same as the other franchise locations for Angry Crab. I would have preferred actual prices foe items rather than just "market" price. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our meal and left satisfied. The place is very casual. You pretty much eat with your hands so don't come dressed too fancy. We're glad to have an Angry Crab in the QC area and one where we don't have to wait an hour to be seated!

First timer here, and it was a great experience!! my family came in tonight, with my mom and nephew. we got beers, and a delicious mixed drink, it was the cucumber honey hot lemonade. Its rimmed with seasoning, and tastes light and refreshing!! we had some nice fried seafood, and fried pickles appetizer along with oysters. we decided to get the huge backyard platter to share among the table for dinner, and i got the catfish with beans and rice, and french fries. Absolutely delicious catfish in a nice big hunk; crunch coating, fried perfectly!! the red beans n rice was so good, not really seasoned, but homey, and comforting!! my family really enjoyed their platter! it came with big hunks of corn, potatoes, sausage. Big ol crab and lobster. Excellent service , and came in Friday night around 7pm, and was seated right away. we really enjoyed the fact that the seating in the dining area is very spacious, and we didn't feel crowded at all. will be back!

Tempura Takeover did not disappoint. We ordered outside at the food truck and they brought the food into the bar. I got the sloppy lobster burger. Hubby got two bulgogi tacos and a side of fries. There were no prices on the menu, but the total without tip was $48. My lobster burger was divine--chunks of tempura lobster, perfectly, cooked. I'm not going to guess what was in either sauce but they were both excellent and made the dish. Fries were solid. Downsides, it was about a 30 minute wait, which was clearly communicated. We got there about 5 minutes after open and there was a small line. There's probably strategy to make it go faster--get there at open or 30 to 45 minutes after. Food seemed to come out fast after the initial rush. Also, i would have liked ketchup as an option for the fries.

They post their locations on https://tempuratakeover.com/ I'm not a big fan of a lot of sushi or fusion sauces so was asking about the Takeover sauce. Ahdana, the owner, clearly took pride in the sauce and offered me a sample. I was gearing up to politely say it's not for me but I actually loved it! I would buy a bottle to have at home if I could. (hint: need this in stores!) I got the shrimp taco and the bulgogi taco. The shrimp taco was my favorite! The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and there was plenty of it. The tempura had a great crunch and the sauce was just the right amount of spicy. It's definitely on my top tacos list and I'll be popping by whenever I can. I'm already craving it again!

We walked in a weekday night and found the dining area quite small and full, except for their final open table next to the entrance. We took that spot and found out 'the hard way' they have those dastardly uncomfortable metal chairs. Not only is the seat firm and not cushioned, the bar that wraps around pinches in on your hip. We almost left but decided to tough it out. Our server was attentive and friendly and our order came out quite quickly. We ordered a few specialty rolls like their sweet potato roll, dragon roll and caterpillar roll. I also ordered a salmon sashimi. All of the rolls were well presented and best of all, tasty! It's not near the best sushi I've had, but it filled the craving we had. The wall murals and decor were simple but classy. We also noticed the noise level was good despite many people in a small space. Overall, this is a nice little neighborhood spot for sushi and worth a visit!

Upon entering the main entrance to the seating and having a quick gander to the ceiling you will see gorgeous scenes of dragons covering the entirety of the ceiling and most pillars. The food prepared within eyesight, the food presentation was a huge bonus to the whole visit as it was a great aesthetic and makes you feel peace as well as relief. The ordering system was simple and made sense, even featuring a robot food delivery when staff had their hands full elsewhere. The pricing was fantastic for the quality. Which brings me to my next and top favorite portion of this review, the QUALITY. So casually my lady and I order some sashimi and some of the delicious choices they have, and they bring a plate with a nice fake bonsai tree, they put some liquid into a little ceramic cauldron-esk "doo-hickey" on the plate and a fresh steam poured over the rotating platter the sashimi arrived on. My sushi rolls came with edible orchid petals displayed beautifully on the plate as well. The staff were excellent and extremely kind, and as workers, very on top of it. 15 out 10 Pakusan, would recommend to anyone who does not have overly sensitive allergies to environments of raw fish. As even if you had regular allergies, the cleanliness was very great as well, with myself witnessing the staff wiping down messes as they happened, not just spills. Messes of stray sauce or condiments, cleaned up the moment they were noticed. Color me impressed.

She was super attentive too and kept refilling our drinks throughout the meal. We tried a mix of specialty rolls and more basic rolls. Most of the specialty rolls were around $15 each, while the basic rolls were under $10. The spicy tuna rolls were especially good for the price because they were cheap, but still came out huge. Overall the portions were very generous and the prices weren't bad at all. I got the Hell Fire roll and it definitely lived up to the name. I handle spicy food really well and even for me this thing was extremely spicy. It was almost painfully hot, but honestly I kind of enjoyed the challenge, It was also really good besides just being spicy, so I'd definitely get it again. The inside also had a cool vibe with all the colorful lighting and it wasn't too busy when we went which was nice. Most of our sushi came out almost immediately. The fried rolls understandably took a little longer since they had to be made fresh. My only small complaint is I wish everything would of came out closer to the same time, because some of us already had food while we were still waiting on the fried rolls.
