    Biscuits

Believe it or not after having lived in Canada for about 10 years now, I had never tried Red Lobster before My friend finally took me there when we got reminded of this place's existence due to the bankruptcy news. We went on a sunday afternoon, so there were many big tables of family eating lunch after sunday mass. The waitresses were nice and attentive, super friendly homey vibe. I heard about them having the best biscuits in town and I love popeye's biscuits, so it's only fair to give it a try. The three of us shared: Crab queso starter (not in pic, oopsies) Admiral's feast Bar harbor lobster bake Have to say, I'm disappointed with the biscuits, they were flat-ish and hollow. Texture was also on the dry side. My friend did say it was not like that before, so maybe I was too late and got unlucky. The rest of our orders were okay, nothing jumped out of the page.

I love coming here for Endless Shrimp so much so that I took the time to do the math on how to get the best bang for my buck. So here goes. Buckle up everyone, I got graphs involved. First of all, the end goal should be the cost of Endless Shrimp. Based on last week's flyer, you can get 15 shrimp for $8, so each shrimp is worth $0.5333. A Box of biscuit mix is $5 A quarter cup of butter is needed per box of biscuit. Butter is sold in packages of 2 cups at $8, and you can get 8 quarter cups of butter from that, so the cost of butter per package of biscuits is $1 Therefore it costs $6 to make a package of biscuits, which yields 10 biscuits, so they're worth $0.60 each. The cost of endless shrimp is ~$30 per person tax and tip included, right? So the expression of getting your money's worth can be expressed as 0.53333s+0.6b30 where s = number of shrimps and b = number of biscuits In essence, if you eat 0 biscuits, you will have to eat ~55 shrimp, in order to get your money's worth. The first order should be about 18 shrimps, and each order thereafter is 12 shrimps, so you will meet that goal after 4 orders. If you eat no shrimp, you will have to eat 50 biscuits to get your money's worth.

Ambiance is superb! When you enter the restaurant, you will be welcomes by a tank of live lobsters and wall photos (paintings?) of the lighthouse that sets the mood for a seafood feast! This is my 2nd time at red lobster thanks to my bestie that treats me here during my birthdays it's always been a fun treat with my bestie! Service was top notch! Tonya really took care of us ! Bestie got the unlimited shrimps for $30 and it was such a worth it price for the amount of shrimps you get !

They have daily deals, ample parking, dining area and bar area. Lots of tables to sit, great for a casual seafood night out. Biscuits are endless and a favourite for kids. I prefer their endless shrimp day. However, they make you wait as the order is limited not like ayce sushi. So you get to sit around for a bit. Ordered some lobster cheese dip last time. Great nachos as it came warm. Cheese dip was tasty and came with salsa with real tomatoes. However, there was only two small Lobster pieces. Great for families. Service is friendly and just the right amount of time to give you time to relax, talk and enjoy your meal.

Went here for dinner tonight and NEVER AGAIN. These folks cut corners every way they can. No crackers for the Clam Chowder, which were sandy. The Mussels were far too salty and cold. The garlic bread was one slice of white bread cut in half with a tiny bit of garlic on it. My fish and chips were cold and oily and never came with coleslaw until I asked the server for it. Then, I asked the sever where was the cheese biscuits and he said he just put the order in (after we were served our main entrees), what a liar. I spoke to the Manager, long haired Indian woman, and she said and did nothing about our poor experience. She just walked away. In other words, the owners and staff here are trained NOT to provide items they think the customers will notice are missing--pathetic. How this chain restaurant gets away with these terrible money saving tactics is beyond me. Doesn't the chain have inspectors to make sure customers get what they should be getting? Time to make a call to HQ. Stay away folks!

Shrimp alfredo pasta, sirloin, coconut shrimp and garlic shrimp (feast special for $35)

Came here on new years day and it was pretty busy. We waited about 15 minutes for our table of 5 which wasn't bad at all. We ordered the artichoke and seafood dip as an appetizer. I had the shrimp trio which had shrimp linguine, garlic and butter shrimp and breaded fried shrimp. My brother ordered chicken alfredo pasta (there is always that one person ordering chicken at a seafood restaurant, isn't there?), my other brother got fish and chips and my parents shared the red lobster "feast" which includes 4 smaller dishes. Lets start. 1. The artichoke and seafood dip? Creamy, plenty of seafood, cheesy. Served with tortilla chips. It was good but not good enough to order again. I would rather explore other appetizer options. 2. Shrimp trio- great for shrimp lovers. The portion is large so if you are extremely hungry you will leave extremely satisfied- and then some! The garlic butter shrimp, although quite popular, was way too salty and buttery. The linguine was plain, but good. The breaded shrimp were tasty and I was served a generous portion. 3. Chicken alfredo pasta- a hard pass. You could taste fishyness even though it was a chicken dish. Some chicken pieces were very chewy. Maybe that's what my brother gets for ordering chicken at a seafood restaurant! (kidding, but seriously). 4. Fish N Chips- by far my fave dish from our table. The fish tasted so fresh and the texture was flaky and tender.. just perfect. I would order this for myself next time I go. 5. Feast- for around $35 you get 4 smaller sized entrees which is a great option for sharing. My parents could not finish it between themselves so I would say sharing with 2-3 people would be ideal. The ordered the garlic and butter shrimp (see above review), sirloin steak, coconut shrimp and shrimp linguine (see above review). The steak was okay- nothing extraordinary but the coconut shrimp was delicious! Nobody at the table was given only forks and when we asked our server, she said she isn't sure if they have any knives in the back (what? lol). A few minutes later she returned with knives for the table. The service was okay- maybe our server was busy- but we caught ourselves having to wait every now and then to get her attention.

I have always enjoyed Red Lobster but still feel the best protein they can make are their shrimp dishes. I tried the lobster fest dish with the regular lobster tail, rock lobster, and the lobster and shrimp alfredo. The highlight was the regular lobster tail and the shrimps . I didnt enjoy the rock lobster tail. Also tried the Surf and Turf with grilled shrimp and steak. The steak was Overcooked, dry and horrible! Couldn't finish it. Shrimp was delicious Ordered lobster artichoke dip with nachos. The nachos were STALE and like rubber. Not nice at alllll!!! Wish it would work more on their proteins at that price

I've been to this location several times over the past few years. The menu is pretty large with a variety of different shrimp, lobster, fish, and steak dishes. If you're a seafood fan, be prepared to have a tough time deciding on what to get! I personally am not huge on seafood but I enjoy fish and the occasional crab. Having a SO who loves their grilled shrimp, the restaurant has a good variety in their menu to keep us happy. Lunch is probably the best time to come since they have specials and is generally less busy. Expect a wait during dinner peak hours on the weekends. Each dish comes with an appetizer of either salad or soup and each table receives a basket of their famous cheddar biscuits. I was a bit disappointed that we were not offered any appetizers the last time I came so be sure to ask your waitress for them. I ordered the 4 course meal this time which included a clam chowder, garden salad, tilapia with brown rice and broccoli, as well as a brownie served with a scoop of ice cream. I did not realize the fish entree came with 2 sides or else I would have decided on something else other than brown rice. Pretty disappointed that our waitress decided to pick my sides for me instead of letting me know! My SO ordered a rocktail lobster tail with a fillet mignon. His entree was massive as it came with a heaping serving of broccoli and fries. The steak was cooked perfectly and was tender. However, the rocktail had a mushy texture and lacked in flavour. If your waitress is nice, she may offer your biscuits to be packed and taken home. Our waitress was nice enough to put a couple of extra biscuits in for us to take home.

They usually have two prices for food options, lunch and dinner. Since it's a bit heavy in terms of the portions and the ingredients, we usually come here for lunch. The lunch price is lower and it is very competitive in the markets. The waitresses are always friendly. They usually ask for what occasion for the meal and what special they would like to suggest. After taking our orders, the waitress served us the cheese biscuits. The taste is light but the smell is so good to be one of the appetizers to start with. My partner ordered the Atlantic salmon with the mashed potato as the side. The salmon is well-cooked, it's soft and juicy. The mashed potato looks plain without any gravy, but it tastes flavourful tho. My order was the chicken and the shrimp skewer. Again, the seasonings on the shrimps delight its flavour. I was surprised how juicy the chicken was made. With one dish for each person, the lunch was filling. The price wasn't even expensive for the meals including the salmon, shrimps and salmon. We will definitely come here again for other choices.

It's a family gathering today for an upcoming birthday celebration; Happy Birthday Dad! Well, this happy time coincidences with an Endless Shrimp meal deal at Red Lobster for $22.99 per person. Pick two of your favourite shrimp preparations and the server, Alaa in our case, will bring more when ready. I began with the new Crunchy Fiesta Shrimp and the new Sesame-Ginger Grilled Shrimp. Don't worry, I intend to sample all five choices. My side was a Baked Potato. Restaurant staff are friendly, courteous, and efficient. Serving staff do a great job with explaining the drink and menu selections; very enthusiastic in up-selling patrons to high profit choices! The restrooms were nice and clean. There's plenty of customer parking too. A truly happy Shrimp meal Celebration!

This place will always have a special place in my heart. (especially this location) I was trained from young, as my late sister would bring me here with her son, when I just a little girl.(my sister was a lot older than me). she would bring me here and teach me the lobster eating ways. I relate a lot of nostalgia to this place but none the less, the restaurant itself I must has not lost its touch. The service was great, just like I remember. The waitress was super nice and super knowledgeable. The dining setting looked a little bit different from what I remember, but still clean and homey. The food was still so delicious, and the portions are crazy, I had to share with my mom because those platters were huge! the biscuits are to die for and of course our waitress just offered us a second round of biscuits, so I couldn't say no! My aunt had the steak, which was cooked correctly to her liking, she offered me a nibble of the steak and I have to say "surf and turf" the next time I am at red lobster will be a must. If i could afford to eat here every week, believe me, I would be here every week! lol

It caters more to the sports crowd however, there were some tables off to the side in which were catered to those with smaller children, which was where we were seated. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a kind server, that brought us to our table, and allowed us ample time to choose our menu items. I had settled on the butter chicken with rice and naan, while my son had the mini sliders with fries, my daughter had the kids' mac 'n cheese, and my mother had the fish tacos with nachos. I really enjoyed the butter chicken; the taste was excellent however, there were too many onions. I found that most of the butter chicken dish was overpowered with onions, which I didn't like. However, after scooping the onions away, it tasted great! I loved how the dish included rice and naan, such a great addition, and there was a lot of it as well! My daughter's mac 'n cheese was straight from the box, and was a tad expensive for what was given to her. We found some of the food items to be a bit pricey, especially for the children's menu however, the food was quite delicious, and the service was top-notch! The only issue was the parking, as there are many condos in the area, and finding parking is hard, even early in the morning. I will definitely give this place another try however, I may park at Square One and walk the next time.

Unfortunately, the experience behind the scenes tells a very different story. The biggest issue isn't the staff as they work hard and do the best they can under difficult circumstances. The real problem is a lack of support from management. The restaurant often appears understaffed, and scheduling doesn't seem to provide employees with the help they need during busy periods. Even more concerning is how management handles abusive patrons. I've witnessed customers become verbally abusive and borderline physically intimidating toward bartenders and servers. From what I've observed, this has contributed to high staff turnover. On more than one occasion, I've seen employees leave in tears while managers were nowhere to be found or appeared to avoid dealing with the situation. The fact that loyal regular customers have had to step in to calm situations and support staff speaks volumes. Employees should never have to rely on patrons to help keep situations under control or to feel safe at work. This business has tremendous potential because of its prime location, but "location, location, location" will only carry it so far. Dear management: it's time to step up. Support your employees, ensure they have adequate staffing, and create a safe, respectful environment for both staff and guests. Your team deserves better, and so do your customers.

Multiple gluten free option available, vegeterian and allergy friendly option to choose from. As the name suggest, cheesecake is their signature and they have a lot! For me, I'm a tower truffle chocolate cake person (I'm not fan of cheesecake). They have some bread that you can eat while waiting. One of the bread if black/brown. I don't know the name, it's a different type of bread that really taste different. I'm not a big fan but my girlfriend love it. The other one is regular baguette style bread. They are normally served fresh hot with 2 dap of butter. For us, only the brown one was fresh and hot. The other one was cold and stale, even hard to chew. The butter was also ice cold, hard to cut. Not what we normally get from a cheesecake factory experience. The place is very loud. Both the very high volume music and all the customer talking even louder because of that music make it for a very loud place. Worker must have headache at the end of the day. The waiter was very nice and friendly. They are very busy, enough to have other staff pick up the orders or help, and I saw this with nearly all waiter. I think they need more staff, although I did see a lot. I took the smokehouse bbq burger. My girlfriend took the four cheese pasta. The burger was good. It come open with the bbq sauce and ketchup on the side. The pasta was good too. We took cake to go because we were full. Unfortunately, the very cherry cheesecake is not available anymore although its on the menu. All in all, it's a good place. The price is normal for today's pricing and the food is good.
