    Main Deck Margarita Flight

You are here for Lobsterfest, aren't you? I'm not judging, that's the right reason to go. And the Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Because of course you are. Red Lobster will never be more than it should be - a sanitized, nationally optimized version of an Americana Seafood experience. I go once every 5-10 years and no one needs to go more often. Not surprisingly the food quality has fallen off a cliff - and the Lobster Dip was the first step for this meal. I expected thick and cheesy based on the menu photos but it was a watery, sad nacho cheese dip with a few pieces of langoustine. Absolute no from me. Next came the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake - Lobster, shrimp and mussels over linguini in a garlic and white wine broth. Or a flavorless pile of al dente noodles with seafood set on top. This had less flavor than butter noodles, and that's an accomplishment. Another mark missed. Although, the seafood was perfectly cooked to there's a lesson there. But the Cheddar Bay biscuits always seem to save the day. Our server even sent us home with extra and you can't be anything but happy about that. Pro Tip: Order the Margarita Sampler - it's x3 full sized drinks for $15. I think the flavors were Mango, Watermelon and Blue, but a great deal for cocktails.

An empty place with an hour wait.

If I could give this review a zero, I would. I am from out of state and never want to return to Delaware. I walked in to a place emptied, only three people on the list waiting (which I have a picture of), and the lady at the front tells me an hour wait. When asked if it is because of Covid, she said, "yes." I find that funny considering four of the booths I saw were sitting right next to each other. So, I never want to say this, but I feel like I was discriminated. Yes, reverse discrimination. The reason I say this is because others came in and were seated immediately and this person's demeanor with that party was completely different than what my party received. It is sad because this person does not know me nor knows who is in my family. Needless to say, I think this place just does not what business. We called to make reservations for 10, and they said they will not take that although it was 8:30. Not to add they said, "we will not split up either." When I said we will leave the kids home when they offered to take six, they hung up on us. When I tried to call back, the operated said, "this place is not accepting calls at this time." If you are the owner of the chain, you may need to watch who you have working for you. I will never recommend your place and this gave me a bad taste of Delaware. Please advice will be caller the better business borough.

We went here for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint. I always enjoy their biscuits and clam chowder. I ordered coconut shrimp as my entree and they are consistently good especially with the dipping pina colada sauce. I hope to return in the near future.

We opted for the zingers and fries - both were very good and we liked the selection of dips. For dinner we had the Shrimp and Blackened Chicken Cobb salad, French dip, and the Rack of Ribs. The salad was fresh and filled with plenty of chicken and shrimp. The French dip was piled high with meat and was very tasty but was a little fatty, and the Rack of Ribs were delicious. Overall, the food was very good. Our server Frank was excellent - always checking on us and clearing plates. The atmosphere was fun, and our son liked the ability to watch the fights on TV.

We were seated immediately, and our server (I can't pronounce his name) was the best. Very attentive, engaged in light conversation, and kept our drinks topped off. I never knew "Zingers" were a thing. We all had various versions of dishes with Zingers and different sauces. Mine was a Zingers salad with a spicy peach sauce--perfection. The onion rings were some of the best we have had--not greasy at all, seasoned well, and enough to share. My son had a slice of the legendary ice cream cake for his birthday, and our server brought us spoons to sample it since everyone was too full to order dessert. Would definitely come back.
