I love seafood restaurants and do not get to enjoy eating at them as often as I would like, I did however have the chance to eat at the Red Lobster in White Marsh and am glad that food was not the only thing that brought me to the restaurant. I enjoyed a great time with friends and the service we had was great, the server even steered us away from a couple items on the menu that were less than desirable in their opinion. Unfortunately all the seafood I tried was less than desirable the shrimp was sitting in a dish of butter, the fish was very overcooked (which is unusual for me as I like my fish on the more done side than most). I would not recommend this restaurant or return to eat there. read more

Service was under-par. Waitress forgot to put in appetizer order and then wanted us to eat it with the entree. It was either her first day or perhaps she was having a bad day. I got a cup of lobster bisque - ugh, clearly canned since it was way too salty. When I did get my entree (garlic grilled shrimp and woodfired salmon) there was NO garlic on the shrimp and the salmon was incredibly bland. Also, the shrimp was rubbery and salmon over cooked. I know this is a chain restaurant, and there is better seafood to be had in Maryland, but I've never had a bad experience at this location and our waiter, Jeremiah T, was absolutely fantastic! He was fast, and had the perfect happy-medium of checking in on us, but also allowing us to enjoy our food. Celebrated lobster fest. 2 lobsters seafood linguine rice salad and let's not forget the cheddar biscuits. Had to get a to go box for the left over. Friendly staff, our waitress Fallon was real sweet and attentive. Kept our glasses full and checked on us often even had a visit from the store manager. I went here for my birthday. There were 7 of us total. The server was obviously new because he forgot to ask basic questions and forgot basic things like dressing for our salads. He claimed my drink had been made "wrong" so I was the only one at the table without a drink, and when it finally arrived, it was wrong, but I didn't want to have to wait 20 minutes for a new one. For my entree, I asked for a lobster tail, which was listed and priced as an entree. The server claimed it was a side dish, but I asked for it as a main course. I've had their tails before and expected a large portion, but the tail was about the size of my fist. I didn't want to ask for another entree, because again, that would have taken longer. I hardly ever go to Red Lobster, as it is a treat for my family and me, but I will never be going back again, especially not this location. We went on a saturday night, yes, the busiest night of their entire week. We were told the wait is 25 mins. Well, we stood around for about 55 mins or so. I absolutely love it here. the service is pretty well, and the food was well cooked. they serve their lobsters so well, their food is perfectly cooked and the seating is just enough space in between from different tables. a bit pricy though. and the wait for a table isn't long either, but i don't like how we'd have to wait although there were many, many free tables nearby. read more

I ate here today, but almost walked out before being waited on. I was greeted at the hostess station quickly and seated immediately. I looked at the menu the hostess left me, then waited, and waited. After 15 minutes and not having any wait staff even acknowledge I was there, I headed out to leave. Half way to the door I met a waiter who was apparently supposed to be my waiter. We went back to the table where he took my drink and food order. When my food was ready, someone else brought it to my table, where my drink had been sitting empty for 15 minutes, as I hadn't seen my waiter since he took my order. She said my waiter would be right out. As she left, I noticed I did not get double fries as requested. I slowly ate, hoping to show my waiter, but I decided to just eat before everything was cold. I was completely finished with my meal and had stacked all the dishes before my waiter finally showed up for the first time since placing my order. He asked if everything came out right and I informed him that I didn't get double fries and I had nothing to drink with my meal since my drink was empty when my food was dropped off. He went to get more fries and a tea just as the manager walked by. I informed her of the issues and she said he was just on there phone dealing with an issue at home and said she would talk to him about the lack of service I mentioned. Took about 5-7 minutes for her to come to the table and then another 10 minutes to get our drinks. We had to ask for refills. Red lobster has been my favorite restaurant for years now, and I had no complaints at this one. As always, the biscuits were so delicious! That's the main reason I go here. The clam chowder is really thick and creamy, and never too hot or cold for me. I was really hungry so I got the "Bar Harbor Lobster Bake"..so expensive ;; But well worth it! I like their scallops a lot. I'm used to the location in Annapolis, and when i went to this one the first time the service was a little sluggish than I'm used to. But i've had fine service the next 2 times so i'll give 5 stars and shrug that one incident off. :) read more

I had the worst experience ever and will not be going back. It took the waiter Danielle 10 min. To even get us a drink smh then when I asked her about the biscuits she said they was being cook but I seen other waiters coming out with some. So when I bought it to her attention she says let me go see. She comes out with the biscuits and a glass of water. I love Red Lobster, and while I had only been to the local one in Bel Air, this one is much better. The food was great, it was clean and our waiter ( I believe he said his name was Dimitrius )was very nice and attentive. He even came to find me in the parking lot when I left my glasses at the table, which I really appreciated. I'm very forgetful and have left things at the table before but never has a waiter or waitress run to try and find me to return it. read more

This place has the best coconut shrimp i've ever had in Maryland. However, the dipping sauce was un-edible. Coconut shrimp are suppose to be served with a mango chutney almost jam/jelly like. It all started on a busy Saturday night two weeks ago. I live closer to the owings mills location but everytime my family and I go there it's almost always a bad experience. So me and my husband said lets try the white marsh location. I didn't really want to drive that far but I didn't want to keep playing Russian roulette with good service. So we went, and the wait was about 20-30 mins in which is typical on a weekend. Once we were seated. My waiter came over immediately and introduced himself (Brandon) He was perfect. Our service was so good, that the following weekend we went again only we requested to sit in his section. He was awesome yet again. We never waited for nothing. He refilled our glasses, and even recommended a few options off the menu. Not to mention he was very knowledgeable about all the menu items. This was my first time at Red Lobster. I went with my mother just to have some bonding time over a nice meal. She had recommended it and I was thinking why not. I was immediately impressed with the decor of the restaurant and how nice/prefessional everything seemed. Now I understand sea food is one of the more pricey things you can get at any restaurent but for me the $25 and up prices just didn't seem worth it from pictures alone. My mother and I opted for a 15 dollar meal, it was the permasian crusted tilapia. You get two sides with this order as well so it seemed like a safe bet. Our waiter was great but the food was sub-par. Our tilapia was a soggy consistency, where I expected "crusted" and cheesy I got mush. The rice that comes with the dish was rubbery, the mash potatoes looked unappealing, the asperagus were fine but cost an extra 2 bucks and some change and the broccoli was pretty good. The worst part of the meal had to be those awful over seasoned garlic biscuits, I had one bite and one was enough for me. If not for excellent costumer service and the look of the restaurant this would have received one star from me. read more

If I could rate lower I would. My family and I came all the way from Alaska to enjoy some good lobster, there's not one in Alaska. After that her NASTY MANAGER! comes over to my table and says "I need to see your I.d or I have to take the drink". We have been to the one in White Marsh many times but not recently. We went tonight with another couple. The first thing that we noticed was that it was not as crowded as it used to be. After we were seated we waited forever for everything. They changed several things. You can only order certain things from Monday through Thursday now. Two of us ordered the Admirals Feast. The plates came out with the food thrown on the plates. There was not one bit of color, no parsley or lemon, nothing. Do not order the tomato caprase upgrade. It does not look at all like the photos on the menu. The berry shortcake dessert cost ten dollars. That was outrageous for a dessert. Used to be my favorite place but I won't ever be back. Echk! I'm not a fan of red lobster, but once in a blue moon I suck it up and go for my husband. I will admit I'm a sucker for their side salad and biscuits, but my love for it stops there. I had the 4 course menu for 16$. Soup, salad, entree and dessert. I had the clam chowder, nothing special. My favorite, the salad, and I settled on the jumbo coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was okay- and did come with rice and a choice side. I ended up taking the dessert home (brownie al a mode, sans the ice cream because we were leaving) because I was way too full. My husband had steak and shrimp. They cooked the steak perfectly medium, but his shrimp were the saddest little things I ever saw. I'm talking malnourished shrimp. The place itself could use a facelift. You can smell the dirty rug when you walk in and there was splattered food on the picture next to me. Our server was very sweet. I know red lobster has been in the press about re-vamping themselves. I think it's time to do just that.... read more

WOW!!!! that's all I have to say about my experience at this location last night. Please keep in mind that yesterday everyone was expecting the great blizzard of 2013 and all we got was rain in this area. I had claimed an offer off of facebook for $10 off two lobsterfest entrees. It was raining. I did not feel like cooking so we decided to use the facebook offer. THE ONLY THING GREAT ABOUT DINNER WAS THE FOOD!!!!! We arrived around 615pm and we very happy that there was NO wait. It was slow due to the weather. The manager asked how many; we told her two, then she asked for a name. Confused because there was no wait my husband asked why they needed a name. The manager was PRETTY RUDE and INSISTENT that we give her a name because it was corporate policy and we had to give her a name to be sat a table. Ok, whatever the hostess took us to a table. Our waiter, Christian, greeted us promptly, took our drink orders and returned very shortly afterwards with our drinks and biscuits. He gave us a few more minutes then returned for our dinner orders, excused himself so that he could go get a pen, came back and then actually took the orders, and I showed him the $10 promotion which was in my email on my phone. The promotion does say that you can print and take in or show the email off of your phone to the staff. He said that the manager would just have to see it to approve it, and then proceeded to explain that managers had to approve it otherwise some servers were adding the promotion to checks that were paid with cask and pocketing the extra $10. This is too much information to tell your guests. We never saw the manager. When our meals came out everything looked GREAT!!! He said he would bring more biscuits and then forgot about them. When he checked back to see how everything was I asked for a cracker thing (I had gotten the king crab legs and needed a cracker) Five minutes later he came back with drink refills and asked how everything was, i again asked for a cracker. About five minutes later he walked by and asked if I still needed it, when I said yes he FINALLY went to go get one. It was still not very busy in the restaurant. He brought the check and we reminded him that we had the promotion offer. He said "Oh that's right, you did" and went to go find the manager. They both came to the table, I showed them the email she gave it the ok. He brought the check back a second time and the $10 had not been taken off yet. Then he came back a third time and finally the check was correct. We paid by credit card and he brought the credit card reciepts over. My husband signed and while he were putting our coats on, Christian came back and said he needed the pen to take another tables order because it was the only one he had. So he had a RUDE manager pretty much as soon as we walked through the door and a very DISORGANIZED server. Seriously, it took three times to get the correct check amount and what is a Red Lobster server thinking, only having one pen??? The food was very good, and I can understand some issues when a restaurant is busy, but they were slow and there is just no excuse for RUDENESS.
