I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy the food and the service at the White Marsh Red Lobster. The complimentary biscuits were very good, and that from someone who doesn't generally care for biscuits. For entrees, I had the shrimp tacos while my wife had the endless shrimp. The tacos were delicious. I tasted each of my wife's orders, for review purposes, and I found them all to be delicious too. I literally only come here once a year for endless shrimp. I guess the promotion is loosing its luster because I'm just not into it anymore. The food is always just okay at most Red Lobsters, this one is not exception. I always laugh when people ask me if I had lobster or crab or anything other than shrimp here. There's a reason that most people only rave about the biscuits and now that you can get the mix in your local grocery store, Red Lobster may lose some customers. Costs too much to get lacking service. Our waitress Diana didn't get my Husband's order correct and he's one of those people who won't complain or send anything back. He ordered flounder he received tilapia- he wanted black pepper which was not on our table and our waitress advised she would bring it-7 minutes later we asked another waitress she said the same and never came back. After 10 minutes another waitress is cleaning the table behind us and we ask her for the pepper and after sigh/huff she hands it over. We both ordered shrimp scampi his was perfect mine was dry as the dessert- looked like two different restaurants served that dish. And the kicker here is I wrote Corporate received a response stating someone will contact you within 24-48 hours. Never heard anything so I called and was told I never submitted a complaint- she asked for my email to email me so that it would not be a problem emailing them directly - which is what I did in their site and still nothing. Went here with my ex-girlfriend a few years ago and split the big ol onion appetizer and a fried shrimp dish, and we both ended up with the worst food poisoning I have ever had in my entire life. I literally went 5 days without eating anything because I was that sick. When we contacted Red Lobster, they wrote us off by saying it must have been something else we ate. Came here with my wife after a good movie. At first we thought that Red Lobster was closed do to the outside lighting was off or not working. We decided on the 4 course meal for $19.99. I decided on getting the scrimp and mussels with a side soup and a cheese cake while my wife decided on the salmon meal. The quality of Red Lobster's food has drastically declined over the past few years. I went to this location to celebrate a relatives birthday and ordered a steam pot which was not appetizing or as pictured to say the least. The snow crab legs were not very meaty, the scallops were small and "bite size" and everything else in the pot was very forgettable. Went there on a Sunday evening it was packed. Our wait time was about 20 minutes but when we were seated I noticed at least 7 empty tables so I'm guessing they were short staff and that's why they weren't using those table. The bathroom is located at the entrance and where guest have to sit and wait for their tables. The smell that was coming from out of the bathroom was disgusting. When I waiter came to the table he made the wait worth it. His name was Brandon and he was awesome. Came and took our drink orders time our food. He was so nice and friendly and in point. "How have you never been to Red Lobster? Are you serious? Not once, EVER??? NO WAY" People were in complete disbelief that I had never been to a Red Lobster in almost three decades of walking this earth. I saw almost no point in going to a Red Lobster to eat frozen seafood flown in from Thailand while we were also standing in a state known for seafood but my friend was insistent we try it for lunch. Given my (very) low expectations and a craving for shrimp, I kept an open mind. When we walked in, I was admittedly a little surprised in the decor. It was what I will call more Ruby Tuesday than TGI Friday in it's level of ambience... a lot of wood and dimmed lighting. I settled on a lunch special. Gumbo - It wasn't terrible, like what you expect from one of those microwavable Campbell's bowls. Should a single-serve Campbell's soup that is eaten out of the container it's sold in be an acceptable baseline to compare against for a restaurant? Absolutely not but again I'm working with low expectations and trying to be glass half full. Salad - Yeah it was bad. Basically it was a bagged salad with a handful of small shrimp seared and sprinkled on top. Dressing was forgettable. I did not finish this part. Pro tip: don't read about how the buy and prepare their shrimp before you dine. Biscuits - Holy crap, these things are great. I probably ate five. Should I go to the grave tomorrow, Dine at Red Lobster has now been checked on my bucket list. It was better than I thought it would've been but still not enough for me to return. My family and I went last weekend for unlimited shrimp that has been advertised on tv for weeks now. When we arrived the place was dead, it was only 12:30. My husband and I got the unlimited shrimp. When we tried to put in our refill of shrimp, we were told you could only order 1 refill at a time. No problem.... until it would take over 30 minutes for each refill to come out. Whoaaaa how things can change in just 4.5 months! I'm assuming our first visit here in March was just a fluke...or maybe the other night was, but regardless, we gave it a second chance and was NOT disappointed. It was packed and I was a little hesitant, but I have to say that they redeemed themselves. Our waiter, Casey, was the best. He kept our table of 6 with filled drinks and full plates. If you love seafood restaurants this is not the place to go. Go once every ten years when the last memory has faded. There few entrees that are worth a lunch, the lobster is small, expensive and dry. Most of the seafood, especially the appetizers, are drenched in butter and provide great ammunition for the after meal indigestion. The cheese bread served with each meal is good. The service was poor to average. It is a corporate chain owned by the same owners as the Olive Garden and Bahama Breeze. You can use Red Lobster gift cards at those restaurants as well. read more

The place was packed with an expected wait time of 45 minutes. I'm not very fond of waiting, but my sister wanted her lobster fix so we waited. The 45 minutes became a 1hr 15 minute wait. It was all good though, I sat at the bar and had me a few glasses of cabernet during the wait. I was famished by the time we were seated. The waitress took our order promptly and came back out with them delicious biscuits that they make so well. At which point I was ready for a refill on my wine but being that we're eating seafood I wanted to switch it up to a sovereign blanc instead. Our waitress was kind enough to offer up a glass of water with lemon which did really well as a handy palate cleanser for the wine switch. Due to the volume, our food came out a tad slow but that was expected. My Ultimate Feast tasted especially good because I was hungry. All done and said, this was a good experience. About 10 tables of 4-6 people were seated in front of us and then once we got to our table there was an entire section completely clean and empty. Managers excuse was not enough servers as we walked by a group of 6 servers standing talking together and the front never had less than 3 hostess the entire time. Lazy staff, horrible management. Very horrible experience the past several times I have visited this location. Will never be going back to this location.It is almost like you are inconveniencing them by just being there. Hostess on the past several occasions was very ignorant. I understand during these times of covid people are doing there best but this place uses it as a reason to not work. There is maybe only a total of 5 tables available, in the early days of the pandemic I understand there was restrictions but this has not changed the entire time when every other eatery in the area has the bar open and every other table at least open not here. This place can be completely empty and it will be a 30 to hour wait everytime. I usually try to stay away from chains and every visit to the Red Lobster confirms why for me. The frozen taste of the over seasoned seafood has really become tiresome. The biscuits are not as good as before, maybe because they're not a surprise anymore and if you get an hours old one it turns into an actual disappointment. The fish was almost unpalatable on my most recent visit and the shrimp was either drowned in butter or Kentucky Fried. I would guess most of their shrimp is in the 33-35 count per pound range, 17-19 per pound after breading. We have been to lots of Red Lobsters and this is an outlier. Our waiter was friendly but seemed too busy for his section. We completely ran out of drinks for half our meal, and were left waiting for long periods of time for things we needed. We both ordered snow crabs that turned out to be light and missing limbs. One of us had no claws at all, and i was missing 3 legs. For their credit, they refunded us $4 for this but it seemed hollow. They lost out on more money by never asking if we wanted a refill on drinks at all. Overall it was just a disappointing experience and I don't think we'll be back. We left hungry. read more

Went to this red lobster to celebrate my daughter's bday on 6/24/19 and I was going for the endless shrimp that they offer on Mondays from 11am to 6 pm so I did get there a little late like 5 so I was cutting it close. Before we got there my mother checked the website so see if it was a wait and it wasn't so we was like ok good no wait. Soon as we walked in the manager I'm assuming didn't greet me because I walked in first I had to end up speaking to her first it was like she was irritated or had an attitude. So i was like a table for 5 she never really said anything we just let in the waiting area. Then she eventually said she didn't have any servers so it's gonna be a while so I'm asking her well is it gonna be an issue with the endless shrimp by it being over at 6 so she was like "what". That's rude so I repeated my question I got no response. I think we waited like 30 mins before we got seated mine u guest came in after us and got seated right away. So finally someone else took over at the front desk and the manager seated us never really saying anything I even over heard her getting smart with another guest that came in after us. If it wasn't for my daughter's bday I would had left and I wouldn't had made it to another red lobster in time but I will never ever step foot in the red lobster again. read more

The quality of this place has gone down. The waiting area floor was riddled with trash that the staff continuously walked over. The table I was seated at felt like outside, mind you it's 36 degrees outside right about now. I asked the manager to adjust the air to heat and the vent only blew heat for about 5 minutes. My daughter and I both ordered the exact same entreè but to my suprise her food was slightly different. She had a bowl of soup and I had a cup. Her pasta was seasoned and appealing while mine was tasteless and not appealing at all. The waiter kindly asked the manager to remove the item from my bill. I was somewhat pleased with the adjustment to the bill; however, I really wanted to enjoy my meal and time with my daughter at Red Lobsters. Will not return to this location. If I could give zero stars I would. We came for the endless shrimp special and even though the restaurant was less than half full, it took over 1.5 hours to get 2 rounds of food. Worse, when we asked about the status of our order the waiter chuckled saying that is how it is. Absolutely no sincerity for the terrible service and no apologies for the rude demeanor.
