Went with family Saturday May 19/2018 in evening, even though there was a little wait to be seated we didn't wait any longer than what we were told. Everything was clean and the staff were all friendly. Food arrived quickly and was very good and our waitress Katrina was excellent. The food was amazing. With that said, our waitress wasn't very attentive at all. I'm not saying she needed to come ask us if we wanted anything else every 10 minutes...she came over and got our drink order, brought that to us and got our food order. Never came back to ask if we wanted more bread, never asked if we wanted more drinks, completely forgot about the appetizer that we ordered. Came to us like 20-30 minutes after we ordered to let us know that they ran out of the sauce for my husbands meal so they needed to make that and they wanted to bring the entire meal out at the same time. In the mean time (not that this was the fault of the restaurant or the server) but a couple with their 2-3 young kids came in and was seated directly behind us. The kids were screaming at the top of their lungs, and we hadn't even gotten our food yet. Once it finally came out, I reminded her we never got the appetizer, so to please remove that from the bill. Like I said, the food was fantastic, but the waitress wouldn't know that because after she delivered it, she never came back to check on us. We were sitting there for 5 minutes after we finished (and we rushed through because of the screaming) waiting for our bill, I finally made eye contact with her, and she started heading over and then turned around to whisper in the boys ear that was behind her. It was completely ridiculous. When she finally came over, I stated that I would like my bill because we would like to leave. She did actually help with that. This was the second time trying to give this restaurant a try in the last few weeks. The first time, we walked in and they said it was going to be a few minutes, and walked away, and after we stood there waiting for 20 minutes with no one else checking on us or giving us an update at all (they had over an hour til closing) we finally left. This evening, myself and 2 other guests arrived for our 'call ahead' time of 615pm. Once we were sat, our waitress was essentially non-existent. She said she'd be with us momentarily but it took her nearly 20 minutes to fulfill our drink order. She was tending to about 3 or 4 other tables at the time of our arrival. We were also sat at the back-most corner of the restaurant so I'm sure that didn't help. We could see that our waitress was working hard, but the restaurant was busy... why dont you have more staff to tend to those busy times? Our waitress seemed to care and was pleasant, but she was absolutely overworked. There wasnt any support for her either, it was sad to see that. We gave our appetizer order and hoped for some biscuits. After another 20 minutes, we got our appetizers, no biscuits, no refills. We ordered the calamari, crab dip and mozzarella sticks....the mozza sticks were absolutely horrible. They were cold and fast-food quality, we felt. At this point, we were starving and ate it anyways because it had been nearly an hour since we arrived and we wouldn't have gotten the chance to see our waitress in a timely fashion. Salads were wilted and over-dressed, crab legs came out cold. It was disappointing. The seafood in my harbor bake was fishy, not fresh and rubbery. Our bill came to nearly $140 tonight for 3 people and honestly, for that price point.... the quality and service was really lacking. That's a decently sized Bill! I am saddened to see the huge decline in quality and service at Red Lobster. This restaurant is not cheap. I'm not entirely sure if it's this location or all of the locations that have declined so significantly. read more

I placed a to-go order and arrived at the restaurant just after pick up time. I was directed to the bar for pick up, but the bartender was very busy. I tried to get the bartender's attention for 10 minutes before asking another waitress if someone could help me pick up my order. She found someone to help the bartender, but no one helped me with my pick up. After another 10 minutes I gave up and asked them to cancel my order. I walked in at 4:12 pm for a 4:10 pm pick up. The food is good, but the service here is less than fair. Had to ask three times for utensils. Waiter kept disappearing. I think he was either new or didnt like his jOb. So many things were wrong in this visit it's hard to list them all. Took two times to get our drinks right (there were only three of us). My wife went Wednesday the 24th of Jan. She had the petite lobster roll and Yucatan shrimp. Both were very tasty. Although, the shrimp dish should have had a third or just two larger shrimp for a proper portion. The biggest complaint was that the room was to dark. Driving to the building was difficult to navigate. The clientele were primarily seniors. They need to find away to attract younger folks... maybe a happy hour. read more

I placed an order on Saturday night thru the online app. It was around 8:55pm at that time. The app said my order would be ready around 9:23pm. I got to the restaurant at 9:30pm. I was shown to the To Go area which is at the one side of the bar. But it has bar stools in front of the pick up area and people were seated in them so I wait behind them. The bartender was busy chatting with another bar patron and seemed to ignore me standing there. Finally another employee walked by and saw me and asked if I had placed a to go order. I said yes and gave him my name. He went in the back and came out 1 minute later and said the kitchen was "Putting the finishing touches on the dinner" so I stood back and waited. This was about 9:35pm. I waited and waited finally at 10:01pm I told the lady at the front to cancel the order, She offered to go check on the order but at that point I was so upset and angry I just left and went to Mcdonald's. I am a veterinarian and I had just finished a long day of appointments and emergency surgery, I was tired and I just wanted a good meal. My order was simple a steak and some Crab Liguine and it took over an hour and was not done. To top it all off, they couldn't at least have kept me informed about what was taking so long. The bartender and other employees were too busy watching another employee do "Magic coin tricks" at the Bar. Will never go there again, poor service and lousy attitudes. read more

I thought I would give it a try after many years. I remembered why I stopped going there. The shrimp are no better than canned. Ordered endless shrimp and really did not eat much... could not eat those little mushy things. Actually high prices for the super cheap seafood. I would definitely pay for a better quality. Went on a Wednesday night they were busy. Greeted as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was great I don't like any seafood but my fiance had lovers later lobster ( 2 lobster broccoli and shrimp Alfredo) he loved it. The bartender made the wrong drink and our waitress noticed after she gave it to me. Brought me the right one so I had a free drink. I had just a regular burger and the kitchen gave me 13 fries. Went to celebrate a promotion I just received with my company. The waiter was one of the best I have ever had. He made sure that drinks and biscuits were always full. If there was ever a request, he was on it. We actually drove by another Red Lobster to get to this one based upon reviews. We only recently started ordering takeout again after almost a year of cooking at home. Tonight, we ordered two family meal bundles from the Pottstown Red Lobster. When my husband got home with the food, we realized there were several items missing from the bag - all our chicken fingers, one of our sides, half our biscuits, and some condiments. Accidents happen - we weren't upset. We called the restaurant to let them know so we could go back and pick up the remaining food. Instead, the restaurant passed the call from person to person. My husband spoke with four different people over the course of about 15-20 minutes. He kept having to explain what happened over and over, and none of the folks he spoke with even offered up an "oops - oh my gosh - so sorry." He's not easily frustrated, and even he was annoyed. That call took even more time away from Sunday dinner, and we were no longer willing to drive the 20 minutes back to the restaurant to get the food. We had them refund the chicken finger meal to our card and we won't be ordering again. So sad. An "oops" and a little less hassle in correcting an error would have made all the difference. read more

This place used to be my favorite red lobster, but something has changed. 1) the price for everything has increase by at least 10% since the remodel 2) portion has decreased, e.g. the size of my shrimp scampi in the ultimate feast was drastically smaller (by half)! 3) the size of the stuffed mushrooms are smaller too! 4) and the draft beer was seriously watered down. The only reason I'm still giving them 3 stars is the service and lobsters are still very good. read more

This used to be a great place to go when you wanted a good dining experience. Not so anymore. The last few times the food has been less than good (salad not fresh, steak first undercooked, then brought back like shoe leather). I complained online a few months ago, and got a call several weeks later from 'a manager' apologizing and asking me to give them another chance. She sent a gift card (arrived a month later), so we went tonite to give it another shot. Ruined my night, we left without eating after waiting 45 minutes to be served. The waitress (Bethany) was extremely obnoxious after we complained. She said the kitchen was going as fast as they could. The manager told me afterward that the waitress forgot to put our order in. Manager said she would take care of it right away, but 10 minutes later still no food, no manager to on be found. So we just left. Will not be going back for a loonnnggg time. Took forever to get seated and for our meals to come out almost to the wrong table. Crab legs were cold and Red Lobster does NOT have brown butter at this location they have a brown butter sauce with onions n peppers in it not what I was use to n did not compare to brown butter at all it looks like sewer salsa. Also messed up my order n some of the others at my table not giving the correct sides. Luckily they have hot biscuits which were the best part. read more

My mother and I had to wait like 40 minutes to be seated and our meals were not that great at all. The mixed drinks were good. But our lobster was over cooked and dry. Frequented numerous times over the years. Last trip was the finale. Arrived at 8:30, drinks came around 9, appetizers shortly after. Food comes at 10, ice cold. $150 order with 20% off! Really! The inconvenience is certainly not worth the headache. This place goes from worse to worse. The manager was new (go figure) and had to call the general manager to handle my complaint. I have always been a fan of Red Lobster. Went w/hubby & FIL for a meal before my FIL went into the hospital, kind of a last hoorah for him. We had a pleasant enough meal, our waitress was great, but the Red Lobster I remember is no longer. Portions are not as plentiful as they lead you to believe on commercials(I am all of 110lbs., so for me to take issue with the minimal amount of food with a so called "seafood feast" should tell you something. While the meal was good, service pleasant, maybe a Wednesday night fluke( I kid), but certainly not the Red Lobster I remember, which is unfortunate because I was so excited to see we now lived near one and I doubt we'll be back. For the money, it just didn't seem worth it. 3 ppl - 3 biscuits served & then having to ask for more when an empty basket is sitting there & we're waiting with no other food on the table, doesn't make sense. We went because I had said how much I LOVED Red Lobster, I felt terrible afterwards. read more

Rating a four primarily because I enjoyed the company I was with. Being seated was an event. The woman seating us had us wait at booths while she called the front to comfirm what table we could sit at. It was not that busy and many booths were available. Service was slow although the waiter was nice. Food was mediocre...nothing to write home about. read more

Went for dinner at 7pm on a Friday night. Did the waitlist, so the wait to be seated was only 5 minutes. It was not very busy anyway. Ordered food shortly after being seated. It took 50 minutes for 1 appetizer to come out. Dinner entrees took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to come out! Entrees were not "piping hot", just warm. One dish my husband ordered never came. One of the three small plates they brought out for the biscuits was dirty. Later the server asked if I would like a drink refill. About 10-15 minutes later, she came back and asked if I would like a drink refill. I had already been waiting for one from the first time you asked!!! Then, we asked for melted butter. The server forgot it. I flagged her down and had to ask again. By 7:45pm we overheard servers being sent home because it was so dead there. Friday night and the place had no one waiting. It was vacant. At the end of our meal we asked to speak to a manager. The manager came over, apologized and blamed everything on a "rush". From what I have experienced on a Friday or Saturday night at other restaurants, the place should be busy most of the night. Also, they should be used to being busy then and be able to handle it. Not this location. I will never go back and will tell others not to go there either. I do not see this location being open much longer if their weekends are like this. The service has become LOUSY. March 1, 2014, 5pm, called in an order for pick up, all seems right, get there and they don't have a clue, they've lost the order!!! They offer to comp the order, except I don't know what other people in our party have ordered, have to drive back home, get it all reordered then drive back and pick it up. Oh yea they comped it and gave up a $15.00 gift card, which covered the gas I burned up but still lost way to much time because of poorly hired, poorly trained and poorly supervised staff.
