Disappointed with this location. This is the second time I've ordered from this restaurant and my order has been missing something. This time I picked up my curbside order and drove to my destination, sat down to eat only to find one my items was missing. I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to pick up my item. Not only did they not offer any sort of concession for the inconvenience of me having to drive back-and-forth to the restaurant, the store associate walked out with my side, covered in aluminum foil and handed it to me in the window. They didn't even bother to put my food in a bag. They need to spend a little more time on order accuracy and customer service. read more

Still my favorite steak chain restaurant but the thrill is waning. Many things have been downsized, especially the appetizers. Ordered Kookaburra Wings & Aussie Cheese Fries. Wings were much smaller & blue cheese dip went from a saucer to smaller than a ramekin. The Fries are sized to what a half-order used to be w/ the dipping Ranch taking up much of the plate when it used to be served on a plate of its own. Side salad served with so little dressing I thought it was forgotten. The theme- clearly they are restricting condiments which have always been a draw for the dishes I pick. Bone-in Ribeye with Bourbon Onion special was excellent! The steak was large, cooked correctly, & the knob of butter placed on top- indulgent. (I wish they would permanently add this to the menu). But it also had no bone, making it, a regular Ribeye. The sweet potato lacked in quantity of sweet toppings, but still good, & the side lobster tail is a gouging that every diner understands upfront, but was of decent quality & hit the spot! Service was good & seating comfortable. But the perceived change in value & overall stinginess made this less than a five star experience. I had dinner at this Outback and found the service to be very courteous and prompt and the dining area to be comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, the food did not meet up to that standard. The Spare Ribs were the worst ever. It appears the ribs were roasted bare and were smothered thick with barbeque sauce for serving. I had to scrape off the sauce and found no baked-on sauce. I wasn't planning on returning to Outback and it's honestly still not a first choice of mine. I went because it was my friends Birthday & we always treat each other. She loves Outback and is a regular customer in her area and belongs to the frequent dining program. Stephanie was our server and she took excellent care of us. She was pleasant and attentive. I ordered the bloomin burger and it really hit the spot! It was cooked perfectly to medium and it so tasty with the buttery bun. My friend got the Alice springs chicken with the upgraded fries w cheese and bacon. Everything was delicious! My only complaint again is the offensive smell in the woman's bathroom. It looked clean but really smelled again similar to the last time. Not sure if it's possible plumbing or whatever but again it's a real turn off. read more

One of our regular joints, this was our first time dining there since Covid. We've gotten fantastic delivery (they have their own delivery, not 3rd party). First of all can it be a 5 when they don't have any spiked seltzers? It's just about the most popular drink in the country. We had cheese fries that were simply awesome! Very well seasoned and perfectly crispy, and thank god it is cheddar and mozzarella, not whiz. We had Alice Springs chicken which was great. The chicken and shrimp pasta had a great Alfredo sauce and we got all chicken no shrimp. Also French onion was definitely under the broiler a little too long but as always that soup... is so rich and delicious! read more

Just finished a tasty meal at Outback Royersford. Our server Aiden was very pleasant and well informed on the size portions on the menu items. Started off with the Bloomin' Onion, of course. Delicious, but greasy as we reached the center of the bloom. The Mrs. ordered the Steakhouse salad. It looked very nice and plentiful. I opted for the Sirloin & Bloomin' Chicken combo. Offered in 2 sizes, 6oz and 8oz(my choice). When the mains arrived I immediately took notice that my 8oz looked like it may be the 6oz version. After telling Aiden this, he sent over the manager Justin. Justin introduced himself and his immediate action was to apologize and suggested I allow him to get me an additional steak, saying he "wouldn't want to lose a diner due to a couple of ounces of meat". I agreed and to my surprise, out came a full additional plate of 8oz sirloin, loaded baked potato and broccoli. Yippee! Now that's customer service. Ok, Outback is a chain. And it is not a premium steak house, but, that means you cannot have a great meal and great service at the location in Royersford, PA. We moved here from the Dallas area and we were use to getting takeout from Texas Roadhouse. We continued the same when we moved to the Phoenixville area. It is consistently ok and no more than that. Last night, my bride suggested Outback for an eat-in experiment. First we were seated quickly, and our server Jay, who had six tables we apologizing for slow service as they are short staffed. It turned out that Jay was able to make up any delays and was a perfect server. Both steaks came as ordered, and were very tender and delicious. The sides were hot and very fresh. While it is not Pappas Bros. Steakhouse this $50 meal for two was excellent. Jay followed up on our salads and mains diligently as well as producing our check in record time. Here's to the owner and kitchen staff as well. We are looking forward to our next trip to the Outback. read more

We ordered take out for our anniversary on 4/21 from Royersford location. We ordered 3 steak dinners (one was a porterhouse) and chicken tenders. Our food was in-edible. The steaks were raw. We ordered medium. Chicken and Fries tasted stale. It was very disappointing since it was for a special dinner. I sent a message on the corporate website too. We won't be going back there. This is the Outback that we always go to when we want Outback, and I realized that I have never written a review of it. It is funny how we never think to write reviews of chain restaurants... but here one is now. This restaurant is always clean, and the people are always friendly. We have gone probably 20-30 times over the past few years, and the experience is always a positive one. The food is always good, always hot, and the wait is never too long. This restaurant delivers exactly what you expect when you go to an Outback. Lots of visits - zero complaints - great location! read more

Had the potato soup with the shrimp scampi dip (little too salty which is rare for me to say,) others had the rib-eye, steak quesadilla, mac n cheese and coconut shrimp. We arrived at 4pm before it got the crazy dinner rush which was the best idea ever bc by 6pm, it was packed and there were at least a dozen ppl waiting too. I stopped in for dinner alone recently when I was in town for a particularly trying event. I was lucky enough to have Dan as my server. His easy charm and wit went a long way towards cheering me up and making me feel welcome. I'm a picky vegetarian, so steakhouses aren't exactly at the top of my list on where to dine, but it was conveniently located. Dan was patient with all my tedious menu questions, and he made sure my delicious cocktails arrived quickly. I am truly grateful for Dan's kindness after a difficult day, and for his excellent service. I was lucky to have Dan as a server, and so is Outback. And with that voice of his, corporate is really missing an opportunity by not using him in their ads. read more

Went to outback and were told an hour wait - there were so many empty tables - what a joke. We we were informed that they were short staffed - this was communicated by 3 people at the kiosk. I rec'd a gift card from someone and hadn't been to outback in a few years so we decided to go for lunch. Both my husband and I ordered the bloomin fried chicken sandwiches. For $15 I rec'd a very small chicken tender which only fit on 1/2 of the bun. I ate mostly roll. His was a tiny bit bigger. I now know why I haven't been there for a few years. The fries were good!! I wish they did the weekday lunch specials because I would have loved unlimited soup and a salad but they said it's not offered on the weekends. Not a good experience At all. First tip off was when we checked in and asked if we had made a call in. No, wasnt busy. Order was taken in a timely manner. However went downhill from there. 15 minutes to get drinks. Another 15 or so before the grilled shrimp app came out. 7 grilled shrimp! A half hour after ordering! Then another20 minutes waiting for entrees. We went to frint desk and told them please give it to us to go. People were coming in after us, ordering, and eating entrees! We were starving! After two awful visits, we will not be back, which is a shame because we used to go very often. The first awful visit was due to slow service, wrong drinks and almost inedible food. I ordered sweet tea and was given unsweetened tea, not once or twice but three times! Our steaks were over cooked, tough and not the quality we've come to expect from this restaurant after dozens of great visits. I unfortunately can't comment on the food from our last visit because we never got to order. This Outback Steakhouse is located easily off Route 422. The waiting time was 30-45 minutes. I should have done the Click Thru Seating to save time and could be relaxing at home or doing some more shopping. While waiting they did pass out sampler to the guest to hold us over. Love the Coconut Shrimp! After getting seated, the waitresses were quick to get us drinks and place our food orders. Took a little bit for us to get our food, but aloud us time to get a drink or two and talk. All meals were great and fresh. I order the outback special steak and it was perfectly cook! Okay so let say we have been to this Outback many times. It is a rare occasion to get both good food and customer service. We will not be going back all the food was cold and under cooked stakes. They did not even come back right away to make sure stakes were cooked right! Manager was rude. I don't want anything free or discounted. How about just do it right! Oh that's right 50% capacity and still serve cold under cooked food. I will not be going back! I would rather spend my money at a mom and pop shop that was hit hard by Covid! They don't use that as an excuse and have better food. read more
