Went to this Red Lobster with my son. Both ordered the soup and first taste I knew wasent fresh. Food came out and same results. Tasted like it was left over from day before. The food is delicious and you get so much. I try to go twice a month. The place gets busy but the service is pretty decent considering the place gets crowded. The ambiance is cozy and I enjoy dining there. I would definitely recommend it read more

The food was very good! But our server was was not so good. It's a early Tuesday night and we waited 20min for our drinks. As soon as the food came out. we saw her my son asked for a water and she never returned with one. Had to ask another waiter to get our waitress to get the check. We we're done with our meal at this point and still waited. I then saw the hostess and asked for our check and she apologizes replied the waitress has to give the check. Very very disappointing!! Me, my Mother and Grandmother came to this Red Lobster In ronkonkoma for lunch... It took 25 minutes for our waitress to even greet us and give us waters. It started out okay and I literally mean "Ok" She showed up to our table looking high as hell. She forgot our waters, took 20 minutes away every time she left the table. We ended being there for 2 HOURS. The kitchen forgot TWO of my mothers sides, And they forgot my grandmothers Fries that accompany her fish and CHIPS. She also only got 1 piece of fish versus the two she normally gets. Needless to say we are very unpleased with the service and honestly the only good thing was the new sangria they have right now. Great experience on a Friday evening during lent. Food was served within 10 minutes and was delicious served in nice size proportions. Let me start out by saying that I have not dined in at this location. My review is solely on to-go orders, and the customer service provided. First, the customer service. Both times that I have been here, the staff who have helped me have been friendly and courteous. They are prompt in getting the orders together. They review the order with you before you leave. I was impressed. Now for the food. I was pleasantly surprised. They give decent portions for the price. The food is flavorful. The Ultimate Feast gives you a great selection. You definitely won't be left feeling hungry. Their lobster and shrimp roll has plenty of meat. The roll is lousy, but who judges a lobster shrimp roll on the roll. The biscuits are delicious. There is a reason they are known for them. Even their non-seafood dishes didn't disappoint. We ordered a steak and it was cooked properly and tasted great. Went here last night with my in-laws after a movie. If you've read my other reviews you'll know that any time I go out to dinner with my father-in -law it's a challenge because his favorite place is J&R's in Calverton. If we go any place else for dinner he is always comparing it to J&R's. Having said this I have to say that last night he actually really enjoyed his meal. He was also very happy with the way the bartender made his Manhattan, which is not an easy thing to accomplish. He makes them at home and has his own formula so when he asks for it that way at a restaurant they usually have to do it a couple of times until it it to his liking. Well, last night after he explained how he wanted it, it was perfect! And the second one he had was too! Their bartender is really great at making drinks exactly the way people ask for them. My husband didn't want too much sour mix in his Margarita and he said it was made perfectly too! Now about the food. It was really great. I had the dueling crab legs and they were cooked to perfection. Sometimes when you order crab legs they are just too salty but these weren't. And since I didn't want the corn they gave me the broccoli instead and didn't charge me extra. My mother-in-law had the ultimate feast and dad had the surf and turf. He really liked it but kept saying how at J&R's he could have gotten it for less money. He was happy though that his portion was big enough to take home and our really great and VERY patient waitress Jackie gave him a bag to take the biscuits home too. On the way home he talked about how he will make another couple of meals out of it, like he does with the food from J&R's. We arrived at 5:10pm. We were seated within 3 minutes of arriving. Straight to the point, all of the food was good. The drinks were delicious, I always get the strawberry lemonade. The service was sufficient. Our server Vinny was attentive. He made certain we were satisfied with everything and checked in every so often. I'm glad I didn't go by other reviewers experiences. So I just moved to Long Island and my aunt had been wanting to go to red lobster because their endless shrimp promo was going. She didn't have anyone else to go with her and I love shrimp so i said I would go. We drive out to the one in Ronkonkoma and let me tell you that KATHRINE is the nicest server i've ever had. Been a long time since we've tried Red Lobster. It used to be a family destination when I was growing up (Stony Brook location), but my wife and I stopped visiting over three years ago due to a poor experience. Back then I had ordered the crab legs, which I never had an issue with, but this time I noticed a distinct chlorine smell. We didn't get any satisfaction from the waiter or manager other than a credit for the spoiled food, and it was very matter of fact. Anyway, I sent back the "food" and we left. Fast forward to yesterday (Valentines Day) for lunch (we had a $50 gift card), and the waiter was friendly, professional, and fun. He even upgraded our very small booth for 1 1/2, and sat us in an adjacent booth suited for four, which was perfect. The Chardonnay, lobster & shrimp cocktail, as well as the stuffed mushrooms were good, and we were enjoying the experience. The issue came with the main course, and my wife's Lobster Lover's Dream dish. The rock lobster tail was spoiled! She said it tasted like dish washing soap?!? When I took a whiff it was like it was soaking in Dawn Soap. Yuck! The waiter tried to play it off as a subjective matter. Saying that "some people prefer Maine lobster over rock, however, I restated that it smelled and tasted like soap, and he seemed to understand it wasn't a matter of taste. The manager seemed to care, as he offered to replace it with a second Maine lobster, which my wife accepted. He also took the dish off the check, and only charge us $13 for the replacement Maine lobster. BUT my wife had that soapy taste in her mouth the rest of the night. She used scope, toothpaste, and scoped again. Hours later it was gone, but overall the experience was poor to say the least. I have always loved Red Lobster but I am truly disappointed with my experience here. Upon asking for a table for two we were seated fairly quickly which is a plus but we went on a Monday night. Service was great, which helped me rate three instead of two stars. Don't want to sound cliche but isn't red lobster known for their biscuits? How do you mess up what is customary for your restaurant? They appeared and tasted as if they were sitting out even after we ordered a new batch. Our entrees were both subpar to match the biscuits. Lacking flavor and seeming overlooked. Probably won't be back to this location, unless desperate and too lazy to drive somewhere else. read more

Years ago this Red Lobster location used to be thriving. Now, this place has gone straight to hell. Third time I've been back in years since the excellent food & service and let's just say I am never coming back. The food is undercooked, greasy, and just plain tasteless. You can tell they just heat up frozen crap and serve it as supposedly "fresh cuisine." Another issue is the pricing. Over the years the price has gone up and are now equal to the location in times square in NYC. The create your own used to be $13.95 now for 2 it's $19.49!! And they upcharge you for crab legs! Why???? Ridiculous! For frozen prepared food I'll pass! This location better be careful because pretty soon I see them closing their doors for good. Came for lobster and shrimp fest and figured since it would be packed on a Sunday, a buddy and I sat at the bar to eat. Bartenders couldn't have been over 20yrs old. There were 3 of them which hung out in the back and agitated a few patrons also sitting at the bar either waiting for another drink or for their tab. One woman almost got up and walked out but couldn't bare the guilt lol. At one point after we sat and ordered beer, we had to flag down another person who took our food order, it wasn't till the end when we noticed the 2nd staff never rang up the beers from the 1st tender. That's why i cant complain much lol drinks were on the house. Other than that the food was good and filling. Tv's werent that big but enough to watch ESPN while dining. Appetizers (mussels and mozzarella sticks) were decent and came out reasonably quick. My son and I got the Seafood feast, which was good even the the sticker price was $40. If I could I would go to zero stars. We ordered online and were given a 4:51 pickup time which we figured would take a little longer as that's been the case with most places during this quarantine. My daughters have been there for over 4 hours waiting in the parking lot as the food is still not ready but unfortunately we paid in advance including a 20 % gratuity. Police were called as the people waiting were getting unruly. To top it off, no one has answered a phone the whole time. I was excited about going to red lobster as my wife & myself are not seafood eaters,but I had seen on a food show a recipe for maple glazed salmon! It looked so good, so I figured it any place would have it should be Red lobster & there it was on their website maple glazed salmon as well as maple glazed chicken! In addition we previously ordered for take out was their wagyu hamburger in which was juicy ,thick ,flavorful & perfectly cooked! So we were ready & excited for our in-house restaurant visit! I ordered the maple & cherry glazed chicken I was told discontinued, so I asked for the maple & cherry glazed salmon , again it was a no go! I was ready to leave but My wife already ordered the wagyu hamburger! At this point I ordered the children's Mac & cheese & a cup of coffee! The coffee came took one who sip c o l d not luke warm but cold ,I asked for a hot cup ! Coffee came back luke warm ! Now the food came the Mac & cheese COLD! Asked for not coffee & hot food!
