But there was something more. Their names are Etsy (manager) and Raven (server). Etsy hearing me talking about getting seafood up in Boston and Maine, so she came over and introduced herself to me. She even brought me a sample of something I was considering. Raven, well she's a ray of sunshine that stood out against the cloudy atmosphere of the evening. The handicap parking is positioned perpendicular to the main road, which honestly feels unsafe when backing out. If someone already has mobility or visibility limitations, backing directly into a busy road can be stressful and dangerous. The rest of the parking area is also gravel, which can be difficult to navigate with mobility aids, wheelchairs, walkers, or even just for someone unsteady on their feet. It's one of those situations where it's great that handicap parking exists close to the entrance, but the actual setup still creates challenges. Outside of that, the drinks themselves were genuinely really good, the atmosphere was fun, and I'd probably still come back for another brunch date.

They are alway accommodating and customer service always seems paramount. The prices might be a bit higher than other seafood restaurants but they deliver great portions and get quality food. I looked at their menu online and I saw that at the Hurstbourne location they had happy hours from 4-6 PM and there were 2 of the most wonderful looking appetizers. So we made reservations for 5:30 and when we got there we were seated immediately even though there was a lobby full of people. The lobby/bar area was a bit loud due to the March Madness playoffs were on but as we were nearing the dining section, it got quiet and we were quite relaxed. Our server was Breanna V. She was at our table before I had my jacket was off. She was so sweet and so helpful. She helped us decide on our sides. We chose the Lasagna Dip with Pita Chips and Spinach Dip with a Tomato Cream base. These items are not always on the Happy Hour list, so don't blame me if it's not available! LOL! At the time we were eating at Carrabba's these appetizers were $5-$7. We decided to share an entree since we had 2 appetizers and our meal came with a salad which Breanna brought out on 2 salad plates. We had the Pollo Rosa Maria and it was so delicious! Wood-grilled chicken stuffed with fontina cheese and prosciutto, topped with mushrooms and our basil lemon butter sauce. (We chose to not have the mushrooms on ours.) Breanna was always close by for bringing the next course, refills, or replacing the napkins that slid to the floor. The runner who brought drinks to the tables always smiled as she would stop at tables. She looked like she loved her job. When we were finished with our meal, there was one more item to top everything.. A slice of Sogno di Cioccolata (Chocolate Dream).
