I placed an order a 12:20 for a 4:30 pick up. I ordered the largest feast and paid for it in advance including a tip. I arrived at 4:25 to pick up my meal and waited until 5:14 to get my meal. At 4:50 I asked to speak to a manager and she did not come out until after I received my food and I told the staff that I was not leaving until I spoke with the manager. She came out and I explained the situation and informed her I was not happy with the service or the fact that she wouldn't come out to see me until after my food finally arrived. The manager looked at me and said what do you want me to do about it? I explained that I wanted to be compensated and she said wait here, an employee came out and handed me a 25 dollar gift certificate shortly after. Slow slow service. I have not been to. Red lobster in years and it will be several years before I return. Food was disappointing I had better shrimp from the frozen food section of Walmart. The salad was average the only really good thing was the cheese biscuits. Other than that I can see why this chain is going out of business. read more

The service was nice, but it took 27 minutes and 43 seconds to get my drink refilled. They forgot my lemon for my water. To add insult to injury there was a clump of hair in my food and didn't do anything to fix it even after I talked to a manager. No discount, no free meal, no making me a new dish just a "sorry sir". I by far appalled at this establishments lack of care for the quality of their food. My crab legs had barnacles on them. I would be surprised if I don't get food poisoning from this evening. I was sitting at the bar and my bartender Karla was nice and super friendly but the rest of the atmosphere I could tell the employees were annoyed and acted like they absolutely hated their job. I saw an employee walk out of the kitchen with a salad and said "sorry I'm clocked out" doesn't seem everyone gets along here or likes working here which is very disappointing for a customer to witness this. They make it very noticeable they do not like working here. I do not want to sit at a bar where their employees are rolling their eyes and bitching. I definitely think the employees could step up the game on friendliness and not so hostile (Karla was good tho.) unfortunately after my awkward yet intense experience hearing and watching the workers I will not be back. read more

iordered curbside from Red Lobster (3901 W 41st Street, EMPIRE MALL, Sioux Falls, SD) today. Order to be ready at 12:46. I arrived at 12:41 & parked in curbside spot. I had received a text from them telling me to do so and to text when I arrived. I did. I then received a text saying they'd be out shortly. At 12:57, I called, was on hold for 2 minutes, then was told my order had been ready for 15 minutes but I had to come in. I told them I ordered curbside. They said they don't do that anymore. I said I have a baby in the car and can't come in and that their website says they do it & told them about my texts. Still said no. I nicely again explained I have a baby in the car, so she sighed and said someone would bring it out. After another few minutes, a guy who has worked there only a couple weeks came out. I explained my frustration and showed him my texts. He said he'd pass it along. He was very nice, so hopefully he gets the tip I had prepaid. Today was the first time back to Red Lobster in a very, very long time. We were very fortunate to have Kaitlyn M. as our waitress. Kaitlyn was warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She took time with us with all our questions and was very kind and honest with her answers. We will always call to see if Kaitlyn is working before we go (she is moving to just Sunday days). I have a lot of allergies and when Kaitlyn discussed it with the manger, Cole Reit, he took the time to think about it and came out to talk to me about how he could do it for me without what I am allergic to. He truly went above and beyond to give me a great experience. Both Kaitlyn and Cole did a fabulous job for us. Because of them we will be going there again and again! It was delightful. read more

Went in for endless shrimp for my daughter it did not disappoint. Scampi and wood grilled were her favorites. Only thing wrong was her side of asparagus it was not tender and ended up being discarded. Server was really nice. read more

I have been a fan of red lobster for a long time, despite not being a big fan of seafood. I know, weird right? I do like shrimp and I love cheddar bay biscuits so it all works out for me. I drug my kids to Red Lobster on Thursday night amidst nonstop complaints about how much they hate fish. But those complaints disappeared quickly once they saw the menu and tasted the aforementioned cheesy biscuits. Our waiter was funny and fast, kept the kids entertained, and never made a mistake. The food was very good and came out pretty fast. The 1/2 price appetizers kept the kids entertained as we waiting for the entrees. The dragon broccoli was awesome. While I was chomping on a couple different kinds of shrimp and my spouse was eating tilapia & scallops the kids were eating mozzarella sticks, grilled chicken tacos, and mac-n-cheese. Of course they also tasted and then had to eat more of my coconut shrimp which they apparently do not hate after all. That's enough for a 4 star rating right there. Maybe 4 1/2 stars. read more

OK it's a seafood chain in the midwest, I am taking that into account... but wow... this particular location is just awful. I've eaten there a few times and it's always been nasty so it's time for a review. Where to start, fish was not even able to hold it's shape. The waitress brought out a pile of breading with grease and a teeny bit of fishlike substance in there. NOBODY at my table knew what it was supposed to be, i had to explain, 'that's fish...'. This is a very busy location but we were seated in 10 minutes after arriving at 5 on a Saturday night. Our server(Rai) arrived promptly and explained the features for us. We received our salads quickly and the lettuce was very fresh. I like how they put the dressing on the side instead of drenching the salads. Our entrees arrived about 10-15 minutes later and were hot and done well. I ordered fire grilled tilapia and it was delicious, the broccoli was also cooked perfectly. Very happy overall with how we were treated and our server was attentive with refills and making sure we were taken care of. My only minor concern was our server did seem to be on autopilot and kind of brisk in talking to us and rushing off. I know that is the service industry and he was very good at his job overall! read more

Bottom line - I guess I just wasn't all that impressed with the food. They make great commercials that lead you to believe they have killer sea food....but honestly....it was just ok. We have been here twice with friends. It is a nice place with pleasant tasting food. The servers are friendly and explain things well. The biscuits are the best part and like other red lobster outlets are served hot and fresh. Fish of the day is always a good choice. read more

My experience here was pretty good. Dawn was my server and took good care of us. We didn't get greeted right away, but someone did say that there will be sometime to help us shortly, which I really appreciated. However my food was very buttery and the presentation was not appetizing. I ordered the Lobster stuffed mushrooms and they came out very oily. The 4-course well that is valued at 15.99 is a pretty good deal because the portions are huge! Clam chowder is a good choice for soup. read more

What a terrible experience when you've just had your hands thigh deep in some buttery crab, you go to wash your hands and there's nothing to dry them with?? What if there's still some sort of shellfish residue on your hands and you just wiped them on your new American eagle jeans that cost over $40? Usually people come here for lunch so they have got to live with dirty pants for the rest of the day. Even so, it's super unpleasant to have to dry your hands on your pants and have wet pants for the next ten minutes. Please fix them. Ok food. Staff was behind out table talking bad about a few employees who were off for the day. At that moment a "busser" that cleans tables put a pile of dirty dishes on a stand right next to out table and walked away for 5 min. Leaving us to eat next to a pile of dirty dishes! Red Lobster has really gone down hill yet prices keep going up. Our server was so rude! My husband asked how much extra to add a side of shrimp and the sever said "they don't pay me to know the prices". Food came out cold. My husband had to send his steak back as it was both cold and overcooked. I ordered lobster bisque and was told "Don't bother. We are out but it's gross anyway." We will never go back. Visited Red Lobster on the Sunday before Memorial Day. We had a party of 6 and only had to wait around 5 minutes to get seated. Once seated we were greeted by our waitress who actual could hold a conversation. Service was great. Food was delicious. One other thing that stood out was that we never had to ask for refills, which is a big plus for us. read more

This is usually one of my favorite places to eat, but not today. As we walked in the hostesses were arguing with the wait staff. They were conversing about tables not being cleaned and arguing about who was being given tables. After we finally were seated the wait staff were complaining to the bus boy about the tables not being clean. Finally our waiter came to get our drink order. When he returned he complained about the kitchen staff and that wait cook times were about 30 minutes and they had no bisquits and he wasn't sure how long we would have to wait for them. We waited about another 20 minutes (after ordering) we did not have our soup and salad yet. A little while later our entrees came then a few minutes after our soup came. Again the waiter complained about the kitchen staff. Our food was cold, our table was crammed with food, the waiter didn't care to check on us until it was time to bring the check. I went with my husband and 2 sons. The waitress was very nice and attentive. When I got my Walleye, however, the first bite had a "bonus" of 4 bones. I can forgive a few in a fillet, but I picked through a little more and it started to look more like a porcupine than a fillet. I let my waitress know and she took it away politely and said she would get the manager. The manager came over slumping like this was SUCH an inconvenience, and asked what we wanted. I politely explained the situation in which she replied, "we're making you another fillet but it will be bony too because the fish is bony." I was flabbergasted. Of course it has bones, and Walleye is one of the easiest fish to clean if you know how to do it. So the 2nd fillet came, bony as ever. By now my family had finished eating and so I told her no thanks after showing her more bones. She did take it off our ticket. Shame we won't be going back because we usually love the restaurant... When we can actually eat their food. Note: bones are a high choking hazard and should NEVER be served. read more
