The food was delicious but I received no condiments. How can you forget the pina colada sauce for the coconut shrimp? I like the sauce more than the shrimp. I also ordered the Admiral's feast and received no tartar or cocktail sauce. I spend over $80 for my meal and I don't expect to have missing items from it. This location used to be great back in the day but the quality of service has greatly declined. Tried to do the highly advertised call ahead seating to be prepared for Valentines Day but the no one answered the phone after i tried FOUR times. Went to the restaurant to put my name on the list only to be told that if I wasnt staying there I couldnt do it and that the wait was only 15 minutes. Drove back home and tried to do online wait list and the website didnt allow it on numerous attempts from my phone, my ipad, my computer and my wife's device. Got to the restaurant 30 mins later and it was then a 45 minute wait! This process needs to be improved! read more

I usually like to support small local businesses or independent restaurants, but for our anniversary this year, hub and I decided to go back to one of our traditional favorites, Red Lobster. We hardly ever go out anymore (this was 2nd time in about 3 yrs) and I'm not willing to risk a bad meal. Tonight didn't disappoint. I had the Wednesday Special - Maine Lobster Tail and 7 oz Sirloin (with 2 sides). Hub had the Lobster, Shrimp, Salmon combo. We both pretty much cleaned our plates! (I left some rice, the only part that I could have done without.) Both of our lobster tails were cooked perfectly and a decent size. My sirloin could not have been more tender. I've had filet mignon which was NOT as tender. Cooked exactly as requested. Hub's salmon was also cooked perfectly - not overdone like many restaurants tend to do. We shared a side of the crispy brussels sprouts (an add-on costing an add'l $2). Next time, we'll each get our own - they were ridiculously good! I preordered dinner on Mother's Day at 2 pm for a 6pm delivery. At 6:15 I received an update that my delivery is running behind. At 6:45 I received notification that my meal was canceled. I quickly called the restaurant, and was placed on hold for 20 minutes only to receive a message stating "no one is here to help you, good bye". Not only did we have to scramble to find another restaurant taking orders on Mother's Day, but as of right now (27 hours later) there is still a hold for the full amount on my debit card. One word sums it up, "HORRIBLE." Just don't eat here. Going many years back , this place had to die for seafood. Then suddenly, quality of food changed. I have not eaten here because of this, in probably 15 + years. I ordered my food via Uber Eats. This is not about Uber Eats. They met all my expectations of delivery service. After so many years, felt Red Lobster , must have changed for the better, and even was under different ownership and management. Whoever owns Red Lobster has not improved the quality of the food at all. I ordered a seafood combination, where you can create your own by choosing what you want on it. I chose two pieces of whiting, and for an additional $6.99 added a crab cake. The fish was not even a whole piece of fried fish. Nope, it was as if someone cut strips of fish, and fried them up. One shape was even rectangular. This all reminded me of perfectly shaped frozen processed precooked fish, like fish sticks. Let me tell you the fish was really not much wider than a fish stick, and only a little longer. No way was the quantity given , anywhere equal to two pieces of fried whole fish. Just several pieces , that were piled up in one side of the container, not taking up anywhere the space two pieces of fish would. Typical of frozen fish like this, it was made with unnecessary amounts of salt, but otherwise nothing about the taste was special. As for the crab cake, it arrived in a separate tiny small container, appropriate for it's overpriced tiny size. This was a mini sized crab cake, and it arrived cold, along with the blackened areas , that showed it had been obviously burned. It seemed to be freshly made, and tasted it too, but any positives it had was negated, by it's arriving not only cold, but burned, and not worth an extra $6.99 for it to be added to the platter. Here's what I did enjoy. The 2 baked white potatoes, the two cheddar cheese biscuits, were the only items , I enjoyed eating. So, Red Lobster , should change their name , launch a new business model, that reflects they specialize in selling cheddar cheese biscuits and baked white potatoes, as otherwise based on my dining experience, which was nowhere near worth the $30+ dollars this slop cost me, are the only two things , they do well. read more

Yay! My first review! Okay, so I went to Red Lobster with my sister and her boyfriend for lunch yesterday. Technically, it was more like Linner, because it was 3:30, but what can I say? We're rockstars. Anyway, we decided to get anything and everything we wanted and share. First, of course, we got a basket of cheese biscuits. At first we were confused why a table of three would get four biscuits, but I just woofed my first one down and took the extra. They are a reason in itself to go to Red Lobster. Next, we shared the Lobster Artichoke Seafood dip...and weren't too impressed. It was really liquidy and tasted more like oregano than anything else. I got an order of snow crab legs (amazing), shrimp fettucini alfredo (super amazing), and garlic-grilled shrimp (also amazing). My sister and her boyfriend also got lobster, which they loved, and stuffed flounder which I tried and was fairly happy with, except it tasted more stuffed than flounder. Our service was really awesome, but if it wasn't for a gift card, our bill would have been kind of outrageous. So if you decide to head to Red Lobster, be prepared to dish out some cash. But all-in-all, I'd say it's worth it. read more

Had a hankering for crab so thought I would give this place a shot. Premium prices for 'god knows how long' frozen crab legs. I had the snow crab which was way too salty and king crab. Every couple of bites was rewarded (not) with the off taste of crab gone bad. $40 for less than a dozen crab legs (snow crab and King crab mix). Left feeling not so good with the amount of salt I ingested. I eat a lot of crab. This was among the lesser experiences I've had eating crab. read more

In my opinion, there are a few reasons to go to Red Lobster. 1) You are a PETA terrorist and you are freeing the listless lobsters on death row hanging out in the tank by the door. 2) The cheddar biscuits. 3) You haven't been to one in over 10 years, have a gift card/coupon, and are curious as to whether or not Red Lobster is anything like you remember. This weekend, I went for reasons #2-3. It certainly wasn't for the rest of the food, which was mediocre at best and outrageously overpriced. $15.50 for a tiny sliver of "grilled" (read: bland) salmon presented on a cedarwood plank (not sure what that was about, maybe some sort of pirate allusion), frozen broccoli semi-revived (though inedibly bland) by hot water and nothing else (this is the reason Americans hate vegetables), and a meh serving of rice pilaf. Ridiculous. I've had better food in a cafeteria. The $18 sirloin and shrimp combo was a bit better, because how can you go wrong with steak and a skewer of garlic shrimp? Actually, the garlic shrimp was just okay, and nowhere near as good as garlic shrimp can be (hello Jose Garces). The mashed potatoes were fine, but they're mashed potatoes. I could make better ones myself. The Caesar salad was overly salty, but serviceable. And these were some of the cheaper things on the menu. Plenty of items run up to $30, with lobster costing more than that. If you're gonna spend that much money, take yourself to a nice restaurant with halfway decent food. One star for the biscuits, and one star for friendly (but slow) service and vaguely edible food (I'm being generous here). Scratch reason 3. No more Red Lobster for me. To be honest, I was never a huge fan of the restaurant but my family likes it so I was fine with it. Since the pandemic, we've ordered in perhaps about six times and have done about two pick-ups. The restaurant (one in Springfield, PA) has gotten something wrong with my order the majority of times. And these aren't orders where I ask for any unique additions or subtractions. They're standard items on the menu. They've undercooked my meat, left out a part of the meal, or (today) not delivered my meal entirely. It's strangely always MY order that's messed up, not my family members' (although there have been at least one issue with each of their orders too). I cannot believe that they left my meal entirely out of the delivery despite the fact that we were CHARGED for it. I yet again had to call a manager about this and I'm tired of doing and will never do it again. I already had anxiety about ordering from them because I just KNEW they'd screw something up, and they did. I will not be ordering from Red Lobster again. The place is terrible and if they're getting my orders wrong so often despite how simple my selections are, I can't image what else wrong is happening behind the scenes. Lesson learned. read more

I am not embarrassed to say that I LOVE Red Lobster! Shrimp and crab are my favorite foods and this place makes them good at a very reasonable price. The cheddar biscuits are to die for, and anyone who thinks otherwise is ridculous. Obviously it's not the classiest establishment and it's a chain so you can expect some things to be not as good. Come when the have a special like crabfest or festival of shrimp or capsize on the four course feast (yes it's way too much food for one person but worth the price and you always have leftovers!). Ate out with family. Son had craving for crab legs and saw ads for crab fest. Figured if they're selling a lot, they won't be old. Haven't eaten at a Red Lobster in 10 years or more. My experience was good. Looked at other reviews and negative comments-most related to poor service or inexperienced servers. I didn't have that. Place was busy but not crazy busy. Server was Nate and others also brought items to table. Server clearly was experienced. Food was very good and we ordered a variety of things. One mistake which was quickly corrected. I can see how things could get out of hand. Very large menu. Lots of items, probably too many which can slow kitchen down. Lot of tables and large parties came in when we were there. These can be a challenge and highly rated, little boutique places generally can't handle lots of large groups but they come to places like Red Lobster. I know many don't like Chains but my experience tonight was good. Hands on, competent manage is the key to these chains so assume the manager was doing a good job tonight. I also look at other diners to see if most appear happy or pissed off. Everyone looked OK. read more

Horrible. Waiter brought my beer, side order, and biscuits all with like 20 minutes in between each item and never brought my entree. Finally I asked if the entree was coming soon and he said he thought he brought it out. I had to eat all my stuff seperately and I love to have a variety to graze on all at once. After being there for over an hour, he finally brought my main course. By that time i was full on carbs. He apologized and was a pleasant person, but he didn't offer to take anything off the check for the horrible experience. When he delivered the check, he asked if I had a pleasant experience there. I have eaten at Red Lobsters in other places and they are much better than this one. I had a rude waitress who would barely speak to me and never come check on me. I ordered mashed potatoes and rice with my meal but instead she brought broccoli and got annoyed with me when I asked for what I ordered. I Never received my Order!!! My mom's Mother's Day Dinner was missed up!!! I placed my order a few days before time on Red Lobster website/ez/Cater. It was a users friendly site. I received a text, email and online information about my order. I even received a confirmation message before my appointment time 5:30pm that stated my order was confirmed to be delivered to me on Mother's Day at 5:30pm. At 5:55 I called 1-800-488-1803 and waited and waited for someone to answer and no one answered the line. I pushed the button for a call back and no one has called me back. I Called Springfield Red Lobster restaurant the no one answer. At 6:18pm the delivery person called and informed me that my order would take about two hours. At 7:03pm I received a message that stated my food was delivered and my credit card was charged for something I never received, I figured that the delivery lady was on her way to my house so I waited until At 8:11pm she stated no one from Red Lobster called her with my order. Then I received a text at 8:15pm from the delivery lady " It looks like that order has been canceled by Red lobster". I called Springfield Red Lobster waited for 5 minutes until a lady answer and stated mama we are not accepting any orders over the phone.. I explain to the lady in placed my order a few days ago and someone charged my credit card at 7:03pm and I have not received my food. Marc is the man!!!!! I had the best time while having dinner at red lobster. Marc who was our server for the night was the coolest guy ever. The food was amazing but it was nothing compared to the outstanding service from Marc. If you ever decide to go to this red lobster I highly recommend that you get Marc as your server.
