Had supper there 12/13. Called ahead for availability and still had to wait over an hour for table after we got there. Greeter was sour but other staff okay. Food was surprisingly poor. Restroom dirty and unserviced. Waitstaff good. All-in-all it took 2.5 hours from walking in the door to walking out. That would be okay for a fine dining experience... But not this. Red Lobsters as a whole are deteriorating. Used to stop in them all over the country. This one did us in. Red Lobster is now history for us. Too expensive. Poor food. Surly staff. Went on a Thursday evening with wife and sister in law. We were seated right away, had prompt and courteous service. The waiter accommodated all our requested modifications to the dishes we ordered. The food was promptly served and was very good. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back. read more

Ordered carry-out at this location. Ordered over the phone and came to pickup my order- was prompted to go to the bar where I would be taken care of. The young women behind the bar looked to be very very stressed out and was loudly arguing with another employee. I found this very unprofessional- especially since afterwards they were referring to each other as momma and baby.. very uncomfortable. I provided my payment and let her know I was picking up my order. She yanked my card out from my hand (which I was willing to just chock up to her not having social skills- as that's very uncalled for) but when I asked for straws for my beverages she threw the straws at my chest. I could not believe how rude and classless this place has gotten. Ridiculous. I will not be coming back and I hope for that locations sake, they replace her ASAP. She was acting as if everything around her was rushed and trust me- that place was dead at 11:35 on a Tuesday. Annoying and disappointing. read more

The food is pretty much on-par with any other Red Lobster. The service, however, was surprisingly better than any other restaurant we've been to in the area. Hostess and server alike were mega chipper and personable. read more

Not sure why everyone seems to have a bad time at the red lobster. We always have had a good experience & the food is ok. Obviously if you are looking for awesome seafood you may want to go some place else. However, the seafood here isn't that bad. Yes, sometimes the waiters are slow but the place is always packed. Hands down the worst Red lobster I have ever eaten. Crab legs not steamed fresh, asked for my steak medium... I get well done. Highly allergic to onions so I asked for none on my salad. And when I get it to big ass O's of onions. Overall just not good. All I ask is if you make food do it with some type of pride. read more

We went to Red Lobster for my husband's bday. We have a 4 month old son that we brought with us. We asked for a sling for the table which the host brought but it was too small for our carrier and wabbled. We asked for a high chair instead. She said no, but we asked politely again because this wasn't safe. The host walked away and the manager came back with the exact same sling. We again asked for a high chair. The manager came back with a high chair but said "you have to keep it straight up." I asked if I could show him how we use it. Which is to put it sideways and the carrier fits securely and doesn't rock and is very stable. The manager says " i don't want to be liable, I don't want to be liable" which made us feel very uncomfortable. We showed him how stable it was and he finally agreed. Then the waitress came over and told us how she has a six month old and uses the sling, which again didn't fit out carrier! At this point 4 people had addressed us and were forcingu us to use something that was unsafe and unstable for our carrier! My husband's bday was ruined. We ended up going to Joe's crab shack were the service was amazing and our son was secure! The pictures below show how we had the car seat in the high chair and a picture of the sling they offered ( the wooden one) and the sling that our car seat fits in (the metal one). This has to be the cleanest and most friendly red lobster I've ever been to. Had a wonderful experience and the food was cooked perfectly.

This is one of my most favorite Red Lobster's, and I have been to many across the country. I have had few bad experiences at this location. The only poor time I had was a few weeks ago, when our waitress was extremely inattentive. Thankfully, it did not affect our food. I went back a few days ago and found out that that waitress was gone ("It didn't work out" tells me we were not the only ones dissatisfied). They have a new special going on now--Seaside Mix and Match. From that menu I have had the Cheddar Bay Biscuit Shrimp & Lobster pie (not worth it, I thought it tasted moldy, my dad told me I was crazy...maybe I am); the Garlic Shrimp Scampi (wonderful and buttery); the Crunchy Parmesan Ranch Shrimp (very good, the ranch was wonderful and perfectly complimented the shrimp and we got a TON of shrimp--I would estimate a pound); the Shrimp and Scallops Linguini (sauce was very good, decent amount of small shrimp and scallops); the Garlic Grilled Shrimp (very good flavor, about 6 of them on a skewer); and the Tropical BBQ Glaze Chicken (very good too, good mix of flavors and use of pineapple, but not very BBQ-y). I have also had many other items, including lobster and shrimp feats, the big platters where you get some of everything on them, and the peppercorn steak. The steak is not steakhouse quality but the other foods are good. At this location, they have always brought us hot biscuits and, if you get a good server, will keep them coming as needed. I also liked the house salad (hard to mess up, but it's happened to me before), the Caesar salad is really good, and their rice pilaf and mashed potato sides have always been hot and flavorful. The hostess is always a joy, and we have gotten Kayla as our server a few times and she ROCKS. If you stay away from the less than caliber servers, then your meal here should be good and plentiful for the restaurant's prices. read more

Took 7 minutes from seating to the door manager asking us if any one had served us. Waitresses passed us 4 times without looking. Hot drink came quickly biscuits fresh but. Little under cooked.. lobster bisque creamy . Had crab meat but very salty....Cesar salad fresh but too much dressing...fish n chips took 43 minutes. Batter heavy but fish was ok inside. New waitress was friendly and attentive. Not the best red lobster I have been in. read more

I came for just Lobster and decided to try a new dish called Dueling Lobsters. It was 2 Lobsters one with a Lobster and Lobster Mac & Cheese and the other was Lobster with Crab cakes. The crabs cakes were delicious and the Lobster was good. The one with Mac and Cheese was not good at all the Mac and Cheese was not tasty and the Lobster was very rubbery! Over cooked! Service was alright, not great but, enough to provide me with what I needed. read more

My husband and I were regulars at this restaurant. We were there Saturday night (Sept 23). I ordered my usual lobster tail and shrimp special. When it arrived, it didn't look as if it was cooked properly. I ate it thinking it was okay. Thirty minutes after I left the restaurant, I started getting sick. By midnight, I realized after throwing up, that I had food poisoning. On Sunday, I called the manager and to let them know there could be something wrong with the lobster (or the preparation) and explained how sick it made me. She was very cheerful and said she was sorry and could I leave my phone number. Sadly to say, we won't be returning. I will say the waiter was extremely professional and very nice. read more

We have been here a couple of times thinking that maybe the last time was just a bad experience...too bad we were mistaken. Happened twice, the service is friendly, just not good. When you do see your wait-person, you had better tell them everything you want now and in the future as you will not see them again. Just telling them that you are requesting something will make you feel a little better, even though you will still be waiting for it until the end of time. Finally got the bread bowl with the fodue cheese dip, fresh from the microwave. Not kidding. It was already cool when we got it and the bread was already starting to harden from being exposed to the air. The adjacent table that arrived after we were seated have already paid the check and have left, meanwhile we are still waiting for our main courses to arrive. The food finally arrives and we were very disappointed. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE COMMERCIALS! The "jumbo" shimp is not even large and the lobster tail looks more like a prawn tail. Very small portions. We reviewed the commericals later on and if you look closely, you will notice the forks used in the commercial are those tiny little cocktail forks they give you for the crab legs. Not regular forks. Therefore the "jumbo shrimp" appears huge on screen! Look for yourself! That said, we tried again another time and the experience was more of the same. Worst experience ever. Now I went to this same one about a year ago and was very impressed. Markedly different. Went early, 11:30. Service was slow (why, I don't know) and my meal was poorly prepared. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo pasta as usual. HORRIBLE. Apparently, it must have stayed on the warmer way too long after being cooked. The plate was EXTREMELY HOT, and the sauce on the noodles was barely there. You know how noodles begin to look dried up after sitting out too long...yep, that too. I hoped mixing it around would distribute sauce hidden underneath. Barely there. Major disappointment. came here one day no one bother to help us..we sat there for a 30-40 min not ONE PERSON CAME TO SERVE US not even to give us drinks and we where with 2 very hungry kids...I kept seeing a white guy at the bar with a beard looking over..then a African American girl and Indian server pass us multiple times. It had been years since we ate at a Red Lobster. This Town Center location was really packed on a Saturday evening. We ate at the bar instead of waiting 35 minutes for a table. Bartenders were also busy but still service was okay. Food was good (especially surf and turf) and the 4-course meal specials provided plenty to eat (soup, salad, entree, and dessert). Had a perfectly awful experience last Saturday night 12/13. Called ahead to get a table. Told to arrive at 6P. We did and finally got seated at 7P. Surly greeter. Server was great but food was poorly cooked, slow to arrive, some warm, some hot. Tasted stale or old. Took 2.5 hours from arrival to leaving. Have noticed other Red Lobsters suffer from the same slow service and poor tasting food in the last two years. This one did us in. Red Lobster is no longer an option for us. There was a time Red Lobster matched the hype of their commercials. No more. Too bad. read more

On a Tuesday evening, with only a quarter of the dining room filled, my friend and I had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. While our waitress was great, the food was not. The peach and strawberry lemonades were far too syrupy. The potato bacon soup tasted like a bowl of salt. The steak was dry and overcooked. The shrimp were rubbery and the flavors (especially the coconut) left a horrible chemical aftertaste. I shouldn't even mention the dead cricket in the window of our booth. This is the third Red Lobster I have gone to in the last 2 years, and every time something is awful. This chain really needs to step it up. They have been steadily declining for the last 15 years. Their prices are on the higher end of these types of chains (places like Friday's or Olive Garden give you much more for much less money). If I ever return, I'll get a water and a basket of those cheddar biscuits. That's the only thing they seem to get right. read more

decent restaurant for First time Lobster tasters.

We waited 30 minutes for a table. The server was very polite. He ask for our drink order and gave us a little more time to make our decision on our order. He brought out the appetizer and biscuits. Then took our order. My husband ordered the full order of Salmon with the sides being broccoli, mash potatoes with a salad and blu cheese. I ordered the Cod with a baked potato, sour cream, zucchini/squash mix and the salad with ranch dressing. My husbands meal looked delicious but my meal looked thrown together. The fish was barely cooked and it looked as if it had been microwaved and then tossed under the broiler. I ask for wood burn cod. The squash was the entire squash sliced into huge chunks with the ends and it also looked microwaved with butter. The potato was extra small but look delicious. I told them I was not eating the bland looking fish and squash. The server asked if I wanted anything else so I ordered the calm chowder. The manager brought it out to the table with his apologies about the meal. He said the soup had just being made fresh. I spooned the soup and all it contained was the broth and smallest bits of clam and no potatoes. I told him I had enough and asked for the check. He offered desert but by this time I had no intention of sitting thru another disappointment. The waiter brought a to go box for my husband and some biscuits. We left him a good tip because the food was not his fault. read more
