This whole experience was unpleasant from start to finish. We arrived and waited over 10 minutes at the front before anyone knew we were there to be seated. After being seated and getting our drink order taken, the waitress seemed more interested in talking to her coworker than tending to our table. The food was cold, and items were missing that she said "she forgot". One of my sides were ice cold, she STUCK HER FINGER in it to see if it was, took to the kitchen and instead of having a new side made, she stuck it in the microwave and brought it back to me. We ate here the afternoon of Nov. 26 2025 and ordered a lobster feast and a lobster boil. ($97 total) Both came out hot and on time. The biggest disappointment was that they were served with a yellow tasteless oil, not melted butter. The boil was floating in it. Servers were 3 taking care of 5 tables. At 4:15 on a Saturday afternoon with a 3/4 empty parking lot and maybe 5 tables total occupied it was like pulling teeth to get a large table sat. I heard the hostess complain to the manager that a large group wanted to be seated. I assume the same hostess that said we don't take reservations when we called. 20 minutes into this adventure a group of 6 walked in got sat immediately. We were told okay we can accommodate you but we have to wait for the party of 6 to be done. We knew there would be shenanigans as my spouse and I both worked in the restaurant field while attending college. We know that wait staffs hate large parties. The kitchen staff gets stressed. Managers put the extra big smile on and people get fed. I didn't expect the female manager to walk up and explain the situation while wearing not only a scowl but a dirty nasty t-shirt. I can only assume they are poorly staffed. The staff that is there looks like insane clown posse groupies I don't go out to eat very often. When I do and especially when I spend a grand I expect a certain level of basic customer service. Food is good for frozen entrees. One of the people in the party explained they were flirting with bankruptcy. I'm not surprised I should add that our waitress was amazing. We all left her a nice tip as she earned it. As we left I sought out the male manager. I gave our waitress a compliment. He didn't say thank you or fuck you. He gave the impression that he was obviously stressed and was glad to see us leave. If I could select ZERO stars, I would have! If zero stars were an option, I would have selected that for sure! So I will not EVER go back to the Red Lobster Wooster, Oh. location. I made my first and only order from here. I was set to pick up my food at 6pm. I got there early (547pm edt.) and told the male that answered I was early. He said he would tell the curbside person I was there. At 615pm I called to see why they hadn't brought my food out. The person who answered apologized and within seconds, someone brought out my order. Checking the bag, I realized my side of fries wasn't in the bag. I had to don my mask, go inside with the bag of now cold food, to let them know my fries weren't there. Someone, a supervisor I assume, went to the back, got the fries and apologized. The person that took my original call came out and apologized saying he got busy & forgot to tell them I was waiting in the lot for my order. The supervisor gave me a coupon for 10% off a future order over a certain amount. I promptly threw out the cards, as I will NOT EVER go back to this location for anything ever again. When I got home the seafood was completely cold and rubbery. The appetizer (seafood stuffed mushrooms) was swimming in a greasy liquid. I wasn't able to eat ANY of the food. Happy Fathers Day, to all you Dads out there! My boys took my husband to Red Lobster, For Fathers Day, it was busy, but we were seated right away, the service and staff was wonderful. As A Chef I work 6 days a week 12+ hours a day, and it quite pleasant to be waited on. For the food, For an appetizer, I got the Coconut shrimp , it was delicious! I got the all you can eat soup, salad, and biscuits. The biscuits are to die for! I got both the potato and bacon soup, then switched to Lobster bisque. The soups didn't have that wow factor that I am always looking for, not horrible but not totally delicious either. Which means they probably buy them already made and frozen. Just for a seafood place would have wanted the lobster bisque to taste better. Ask for a sample taste of the soups before you order it. read more

Red lobster has a reputation of sub par seafood but I was undeniably sucked in by the most recent commercial for their Crab Fest special. We are in the middle of Ohio folks. Last I checked there wasn't a crabbing boat catching the abundant crab off of the pristine shores of Lake Erie. But, it's crab. I'll take it. The reason I rated this establishment so highly is because of our service. Our service was outstanding. I am physically handicapped and have limited use of my hands. I was asking my husband to help crack a few of the crab legs when our waitress, Allison; came to help. She opened every single one of my crab legs for me and was so friendly the entire time. She went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The servers all worked together nicely often helping each other. My husband and I visited the Wooster Red Lobster yesterday (Wednesday) evening about 6:00. First let me say that Red Lobster is my husband's favorite restaurant and we usually go to the one in Mansfield but I had an errand in Wooster so we tried this store. We waited for 40 minutes to be seated; there was also quite a few other people in the waiting room with us. Once we were seated there were five empty tables around us!!!! FIVE! One having dirty dishes on it. And during our whole dinner they were empty - not one person seated at these tables and we were there for AWHILE. Once we were finally done with our dinner (8:15) there were still several groups of people in the waiting room. Now to the dinner. I asked for salmon, they were out. I asked for broccoli, they were out. My husband got the Admiral's Feast and one of the items were...you guessed it, OUT. and he said what he did get was rubbery, tasted okay but not great. I ended up getting the Mahi-Mahi which I usually like but it was overcooked. Not a good experience. My husband said it almost ruined him for any Red Lobster. read more

I got the 4 course meal deal.. the potato soup was fantastic, the garden salad was ok but had a lot of the inside of the head in it but I didn't come for the salad.. I got the peppercorn sirloin medium rare with potatoes and broccoli .. waaayyy too much peppercorn on the steak and even though it was more rare than medium rare, it was super tough to chew.. so I took two more bites to be sure and after getting a huge chunk of gristle, I told my husband he could have it for his lunch tomorrow. My broccoli was horribly dry; I had to ask for water just to choke it down. The potatoes were prefect in flavor and texture but they put my steak on top of it so there was grease and stuff from the steak all over them so that kinda grossed me out. I took a few bites and told my hubby he could have those too. I got the brownie dessert with ice cream. The ice cream had small chunks of ice in it.. odd? but had excellent flavor. I ate the brownie when I got home and it too was surprisingly dry even though it looked moist.. oh and the cheddar biscuits, I only ate a half because they too were dry..probably should've mentioned these first but my hubs ordered mozzarella sticks and you think they could spare some sauce for them. Not even half way through, the watery sauce was gone and only chunks of tomato were left so I gave up on them also.. idk, I've eaten at many red lobsters before and never have they been this disappointing. Red lobster, yes.. this particular red lobster, you won't catch me going back to it. My husband said the fish was excellent so if you eat fish, I guess give it a try. I have eaten lunch at this Red Lobster in Wooster, Ohio many times and was always happy with the prices but when my husband and I had lunch there on 4/9/2019 I was very disappointed in the surge in pricing from the last time I was there. I always paid $6.99 for a Chocolate Martini but it is now $9.49 and the stuffed mushrooms has gone up $1.00 on the lunch menu. I will not be eating lunch there again. The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because food is decent, what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. If it wasn't for the food it would get zero. I did think it was strange there were no prices on their cocktail menu. It's Red Lobster, we already know you don't have some special 20 year aged tequila for your margaritas. You really can put the 8.99 beside it! The service is what was terrible. We stopped after not having been here for a while (for the same reason) and I can see it hasn't changed. I don't expect anyone to go above and beyond, (it's great when they do though!) but at least be capable of doing a decent job. Our waitress was by far the worst server I've had in years. She didn't come by the table until we'd been sitting there 20 minutes, even though she could help the table behind us who got there after we did. We had to ask for silverware, we had to ask for biscuits, she didn't bring or remember anything we asked for the one time she checked on us, and she must have put all the food in at once instead of staggering it like a good server does so everything doesn't come out on top of each other. We got our appetizer and entrees all within 5 minutes and the entrees were cold by the time we got done with our app. It's a shame for the restaurant because the food really is pretty good, but the service is what will keep us from returning. Friends and family have also had very similar experiences at this location. Don't bother wasting your time and money here. If you're looking for a chain Longhorn up the road is wayyyyyy better, or go to downtown Wooster and check out Basil or the Olde Jaol Tavern. read more

The staff and management were very rude. I am twenty and attempted to order a non-alcoholic beer (as completely permitted by Ohio state law) with my dinner. Because of this, I was treated much like a delinquent by the waiter who was approximately the same age (with a large, obvious hickey on his neck from the previous night). He made a very loud fuss that drew attention, although I did not argue back whatsoever. He then proceeded to call the manager, who agitated the situation by stepping back ten feet and loudly exclaiming "How 'bout I buy you a real beer when you're twenty-one, huh?". Once the waiter returned, I ordered a water instead only then to referred to as "boy" and "young man". This was greatly offensive to me, and my parents.The situation could have been easily handled with respect and tact, rather than a condescending attitude.
