    Mexican Omelette

Ordered on DoorDash to start my work day and The omelette came with chili on top. It didn't taste bad but something is not it. I think it's not salty enough. And with the next item I got : "the best Greek salad" - it certainly was NOT the best Greek salad . Where are the onions ? Bit into a chickpea and it tastes bad . I confirmed by tasting another chickpea and it was yucky. The other veggies were fine. This place is a no from me .

We got 2 gyros and a small Greek salad. The salad was good. But the gyros were terrible. I used to get them a lot but the last 2 times (today was no exception) the meat is dry and overcooked. Did not taste good at all.

The perfect place for an authentic Greek salad. Clean and friendly establishment with a good sized menu. I was tempted to get a big breakfast but came in for their Best Greek Salad and stuck to my guns. Plenty of real food with the lettuce - feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, chick peas, and tasty olives. (Ask for extra olives) I added the gyro meat and had to sample several pieces dipped in the dressing before diving into the salad.

This was my first time at the uptown (sister) location and I was pleasantly surprised at the interior. It is beautifully decorated and welcoming. The staff are the same hard workers you found downtown. We especially liked our server - he used to work downtown and we really liked his attentive style. He made sure everyone at the table was taken care of. We started with Saganaki - so good! - but my very favorite dish is their Fried Artichokes with Scordalia. I can't get enough of the garlic in this dish! I also had the Chicken Meatballs but they were served on lettuce and that's not a positive thing right now so I was disappointed that they didn't leave that off. In fact, I was too afraid to eat the meatballs, even after we removed the lettuce. I didn't want to chance anything. One thing I will warn patrons is that the floor is incredibly greasy. You can't see it but you slide right through the pedestrian areas so be careful. It's due to the Saganaki - all the Greek restaurants downtown suffer the same problem as that dish is so popular.

Northville is such a beautiful town. We were so happy to dine here, and our large party table was ready when we arrived! Highlights from the menu: grape leaf rolls and kafta brochettes. Everything else was good but not outstanding. I've seen some complaints about the calamari and I just want to say that it's not the normal fried calamari that restaurants usually served, but it's not bad! The owner was there and he was very nice. Again, I'm generally biased towards small business owners who are kind and provide good service. Not sure when I'll ever be back in town, but if you're looking for a restaurant to eat at in Northville, I'd recommend Le George!

You can tell from the sheer number of reviews that I've written that I am partial to it. So I was anticipating both the meal and more importantly, the company of a good friend and mentor. Le George sits in our tiny downtown, amidst some good dining options (Table 5, Toria, Lucy and the Wolf). Both indoor and outdoor dining choices are available; I would have chosen outdoors but it was brutally hot to even contemplate. The restaurant offers a number of apps, including hummus, falafel, grape leaves, and spinach pie. I had the latter and was glad to try a different recipe. The spinach was boldly flavored with lemon and nutmeg and wrapped in a puffy crust, not the usual phyllo dough. I had wanted the whitefish but it wasn't available that evening. Instead, I went with the chicken tawuk and my friend had the shrimp gallaba. Chicken and beef shawarma, brochettes, and lamb chops are also available. The chicken tawuk consisted of 4 chunks of grilled chicken, seasoned rice, and a few veggies. Compared to other restaurants, the portion sizes are significantly smaller here. My chicken was inconsistently cooked (which is weird). Half the chicken cubes were perfectly tender and moist. The others were drier - though not inedible. My friend appreciated the flavor of her shrimp dish. We both appreciated the energy and positive attitude of the staff.

The seating area looked nice and clean too. The food was good - I got the chicken shish kafta which was soft. Just needed some hummus with it and it was great! And I don't remember what it was called but there's a dish under lunch specials which has chicken and sauce on fries and it was SO good. Probably the best thing we had. However the other chicken dishes were dry - chicken sajji was hard to cut and so so dry even with all the sauce on it. And the chicken shish tawook was hard and dry. It was our first time and I wish our waitress had given us a little more help in what was a popular pick, she just kept saying everything tastes good. Which is fine but if we're genuinely asking, it's because we are actually looking for recommendations! Overall it was good but definitely not getting any grilled chicken because this experience was not great with it.

The fattoush was very flavorful, the tabbouleh was lacking flavorful there wasn't any lemon, salt or olive oil on it. Falafel was good but I have had better.
