Always big chunks of chicken in their chicken soup!
    Erika V.

I often come here for lunch on my break at work! It's pretty good and pretty consistent. I've never had an issue getting a table. There's quite a bit of seating. The service is good. The food is really good. My coworker usually gets their Greek salad and says it's amazing. My other coworker gets the same and feels the same. I'm more of a sandwich girlie! The blt and grilled cheese (add bacon) are pretty average. The onion rings are good and they have those good battered fries! They didn't used to so I'm wondering if this is temporary? Either way, they are good! If you get cheese fries with your entree ask for the cheese on the side. My husband got them and they were a little skimp with the cheese. The sides are bigger. The chicken noodle soup is fantastic with huge chunks of chicken! I strongly recommend it!

    Pete's chopped salad

Got Pete's chopped salad. $12 w/o chicken. It's quite refreshing. Contains Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, olives, beets, dill, celery, onions and green peppers and Greek dressing.. they are open to substitutions. I replaced beets with chickpeas. Dressing tasted fresh and not overly fatty or thick. I had the feta on the side and sprinkled it on as needed. My server was nice and recommended this to me and I'm glad I tried it over something more in my comfort zone like fatoush or Greek salad.

Plenty of parking right out front. Cafe style atmosphere. Got seated right away. Service was excellent! Order a gyro plater and a gyro and Greek salad. Food came out real fast. There was a lot of food and we didn't finish it all. Everything was real good. Greek salad was nothing like I've got in Greece, but it was actually pretty good. Can't add picture of my gyro, I already took a few bites before I thought about it, opps. Yes I would recommend this place!

Same type of restaurant as a Coney island. Decor is newer and they have a big TV so I like the dinning atomsphere better. I came in for lunch, gyros sandwich is very good. Loaded with meat. If you come in for lunch I would just get that for $7 and you should be good.

Went here at lunchtime with a huge group of co workers. The menu is huge and has tons of options. I went with just a basic grill chicken salad Greek salad. It was good, the tomato's were not. Not a bad lunch spot, would go again. Note, the waiter doesn't take the bill, you have to walk up to counter to pay, I didn't know that until after we waited 10 mins or so.

This is a great family diner with excellent service and good food. I usually go after church and have their breakfast special and I never leave without having the best rice pudding. The decor is very nice and modern and the wait staff is always friendly and pleasant. The prices are good for the amount of food you get. It's definitely a go to place I can count on for consistently good food.

Red Olive has my favorite vegetarian stuffed grape leaves. And this particular location delivered my food about 10 minutes early, HOT and the delivery person was extremely polite. They drove out in fairly crappy weather and still managed to keep my food nice and toasty as well as provide me the largest gyro I have every received. It was simply PACKED with meat. I was really impressed at their quality and their care.

I come here kinda often and the food is always so good. I either get the gyro omelette or I get one of their many salads! The quality of the food is always great and the staff is so nice. Rebecca is my favorite waitress, she's always so helpful and sweet. The food always comes out pretty quick and is always nice and hot! Definitely recommended if you're looking for a quick, delicious meal!

Had a quick lunch. The menu is huge with many options. Service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was clean. I went with the chicken kabobs. You got two on a bed on rice and green beans. A little extra charge and you can upgrade your salad to Greek or Caesar. I went with the Greek minus beets. The salad was very good. Their Greek dressing was quite tasty. I will say that the green beans are not exactly how they are pictured in the menu. I bring this up because I hate the green beans they serve. YUCK! Now this is just my opinion, but I like the French style green beans that have a crispness to them. Other than the green been issue (haha), it was good. My friend went with the chipotle wrap which which also got two thumbs up. I'll go back and recommend this place. Big menu with many options.

I miss have smoothies/boba drinks made this way. I did like the huge menu because there are so many choices of options. I did like the scallion lobster although it was messy to eat. The flavor reminded me that that canned chop suey I ate as a child. I felt their prices were kind of high for the area. Just my personal option. I wasn't a huge fan of the pho broth, but I didn't hate it either. I'm indifferent bout it. But my noodles were very clumped together and hard to break apart to eat them in the soup. I would have preferred more white onion and not more green in the soup. The meat choice (brisket sliced beef) was ok. The price for the bowl was reasonable. The crab pho was not worth the price. This was over priced I feel. Maybe I would give them another try and try their traditional plates. The chicken quarters looked good and so did the seafood boils. Service was kinda slow. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and greet us. We got water and then we wait a little more time for a waiter. Overall the service was not bad. Our waiter was pretty cool. Restaurant wasn't dirty but there were some flies buzzing.

My grilled fish fillet platter said that it would have 3 fish fillet skewers. I thought that these would match the menu pictures (see https://alizseafoodhouse.com/storage/2023/09/Alisz-Dine-in-Menu-9-25-2023_r.pdf). I specified that I wanted the marinated skewers. Instead, I got 3 long fillets that were overly spiced for my taste. 2. The person taking my order asked if I wanted white or brown rice with my platter. I asked for brown, thrilled that they would have it. I got white rice that was brown colored due to spicing. There was a huge amount of it, too. 3. My salads leaked in their bags because they were packaged poorly. 4. The fattoush salad dressing was way sweeter than any I've ever had. It was almost like candy, not what I was looking for. 5. The fried cauliflower seemed greasy and had no tahini (a first). Notes to restaurant: - Please don't say that you are giving skewers on the platters unless they match your pictures (which they didn't). - Please don't call your seasoned rice brown. Brown rice is something different (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_rice?wprov=sfti1). - Consider letting people substitute sautéed vegetables for rice (some people are trying to cut out simple carbs). - Please package your carry-out salads not to leak. - You may want to mention the sweetness of your fattoush dressing since it differs from many others. - Include tahini with your cauliflower.

Nice bread basket. Handmade table-side Caesar salad $17 for four servings. Good French onion soup, chops and lobster tail. The sour cream for the baked potato contained fresh cut chive. Delicious. CONS: Weird parking, seating cramped like sardines. Saturday evening dining room was LOUD! Could barely converse. Food is expensive: Tomahawk steak $90+. Ribeye $55+. New York Strip $50+. Most everything was ala carte. Disappointed that the Sander's hot fudge cream puff did not contain hot fudge anywhere near the taste and quality of the old Sanders recipe. Cream puff was stale too. A strong seafood smell permeated the entire restaurant. SUMMARY: Mr. Paul's Chophouse is a REAL restaurant for those special occasions. Total East side. Food is very good but not "great". Eat here for the old school vibe. Kudo's to the owners that keep it going.

When I…read moresaw that they were having their annual Mid-Winter Lobster Boil, it sounded like fun and the perfect opportunity to check them out. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from the bartender. My husband had a new-to-him beer, which he enjoyed, and I tried the House Martini, which had saffron-infused gin, Strega and dill oil with a pickled onion. It was unique and enjoyable. Before our lobster boil arrived (we had a heads up that it would take 20 minutes), we ordered a bowl of chowder and hush puppies to split. These were my favorite part of the meal! Both were EXCELLENT! The chowder had light, crunchy, homemade croutons in the soup, and it was the perfect addition and the hush puppies were some of the best I've ever tasted. I will share one disappointment. The RESY page where they took the reservations/orders said: "We'll offer a small a la carte menu of coastal favorites & seasonal specials too (e.g. fried clams, shucked oysters, crispy fish sandwiches, etc.)." My husband was excited for the fried clams and talked about getting them several times leading up to our dinner, only to find out there were no fried clams offered. As a matter of fact, our request was met with a reaction that led me to believe that was never even a part of the plan. So why post that in the description? We enjoyed the lobster boil, but felt it was overpriced for what we got. We felt the other items we ordered off the menu were well worth the prices. Our overall impression is that this small, casual restaurant has quality seafood, side dishes and drinks. We will definitely return to try some other items off their regular menu (and get the chowder and hush puppies again!)
