Four of us stopped for dinner on the way from grand canyon. What a treat. Our waiter, Nathan, was very helpful and friendly. Three of us had their duck special and loved it. I had the tempura shrimp and can't praise it highly enough ( and this comes after spending a week in B.C. pulling in our own prawns). Nice place for a quite dinner, probably one of the few places in Williams to have real linen tablecloths and napkins. The gentleman playing the guitar was good, and the music not too loud. The food was tasty (salmonVoila12 salad and steak/shrimp dinner). I will eat here again. read more

Came here on a Yelp recommendation. Was not disappointed. I had the Pork Cilantro, Mom had the Salmon Cilantro, Husband had the Spicy Shrimp Pasta. All dishes were excellent, especially my tempura broccoli. And the bread that was brought out was so delicious, we asked for more. read more

Went here for dinner one night while in Williams, very nice resturant, we went in right as they opened , so no wait for a table, & service was good.food was good, but we actually went in there for a pasta meal on recommendation for the front desk clerk from the hotel. The guys needed a large serving of pasta since we were all running a half marathon the next morning, we asked the waitress if the pasta portions were large & she said "oh yes" but then we we got our food we had to order more pasta. After reading reviews on yelp, my family decided to try this place out. Expectations definitely met if not exceeded. :) chicken parmigiani was so juicy and tender! We loved this restaurant. Tonight my sister treated us to any restaurant we wanted in celebration of our 50th Anniversary. We selected Red Raven. The service was outstanding, attentive but not interfering. The Basil Butter Salmon was my husband's fabulous choice. My sister and I both had a pasta dish, each different and each wonderful. We ate there during the evening of March 14, 2015, Very nice place. Food was good except for the dinner salad. Bread was excellent. We had the salmon and the New York Strip steak. We get a lot of visitors to our home in Las Vegas, many want to see the Grand Canyon, so I suggest a two day jaunt staying in Williams, then watching the sunrise in the Canyon (no Kids around yippee) Anyway a friend and fellow Pilot was wanting to go so off we headed. For Dinner it was usually a well know eatery which appears to have fallen into the Tourist trap mode now, so I asked the locals, considering they have to live there. The Red Raven came up every time. My friend also a Restaurant owner in South Africa says,What the Hey, lets give it a shot. Got there early, luckily and menu was was appealing. Our Waitress Rachel, offered some suggestions which added to our different choices. The food was great, down to the butter for the bread.. Even the Wine prices were reasonable and good choices available. Hats off to the staff there for the teamwork in making that place a shining star in Williams. We went on New Year's Eve. We didn't have a reservation but got there pretty early. We were sat right away and the place filled up pretty quickly. We had a peppered steak and the ribeye with the lobster bisque soap and some spicy shrimp. Everything was great from the food to the waiter. If we ever find ourselves in Williams again we will defiantly go back. read more

We hoped to find a decent meal in Williams as our prior experiences have been "varied." We went to Red Raven because of the Yelp reviews and discovered a GREAT meal! Jonathan was our server and he was excellent. He kept an eye on us but let us enjoy the meal. Kathy had salmon which was a savory delight and I had the lamb which was excellent. The local beers were great (the ale and the pilsner) were both fun. We shared a piece of cake which was sinfully good...all the desserts all sinfully good! The prices were very reasonable and the serving sizes were just perfect. They serve lunch and then close at 2:00. They re-open at 5:00 and you might want to get there early or make reservations. We have eaten several times in Williams and nothing comes close to our meal at Red Raven. It was that good! read more

The food here was awful. We had the stew, chicken parmigiana and pork scallopini and all the meat was tough and over cooked. I am not sure why people rate this place so high but al the food was not up to our standards. No kids meal. The service was very good however. read more

What a cute place and great food the atmosphere was delightful and looked right out onto the route 66 its next to the oldest hotel in AZ and haunted too we went on the steampunk ghost tour and found that out. Really unexpected and now one of my top 5 restaurants ever. As recent California transplants from San Francisco and Pasadena we are used to 5 star restaurants and paying $$$$$ for good food and service. High end restaurants are few and far between in Arizona. There are a several we have tried that get lots of hype, are $$$$ - I will not be back to any of them. They are highly over rated. The Red Raven feels like one of those great restaurants in early Napa Valley, but without the high prices. The food is perfect, the service friendly, and the wine list provides a good selection at fair prices. We had the Foley at $98, worth every penny. I will make the 2 and half hour drive to eat at the Red Raven again. We split the lamb stew at the suggestion of our wait staff. It was excellent and more than enough for two. Don't pass up the gumbo - to die for. The night we were there Steve Reynolds was entertaining on guitar - great entertainment. read more

Was told how great it was by 3 ladies we met at bearizona. Was disappointed when ordered a rib eye and wife had the new york, when I have a steak at home juices flow when I cut into it and it melts in my mouth, this was not juicey and kind of chewy. Very disappointed, and pricey for what you get, small portions of everything, and maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. Will try other stake houses in town before I go back. read more

Very good meal in Williams, AZ. My husband and I ordered the fried shrimp as an appetizer. The shrimp were very large and delicious. We ordered a Filet and Chicken Parmesan. Both were cooked just right and delicious. The salads that we ordered had delicious homemade Bleu Cheese and Ranch dressings. We would definitely eat here again. The reviews of this place were so polarized I had to see for myself what the truth was. Additionally the innkeeper where we stayed in Williams recommend it so we gave it a try. My first impression was not good. I called them a little after opening to find out if they would require a reservation but either they didn't listen to the phone message I left or didn't bother retuning my call. Bad for business. Never the less we found a fairly busy restaurant on a Thursday evening at 7:00 but still a table was available so we were immediately seated and greated by George. An excellent waiter. We enjoyed premium cocktails, salads and main courses accompanied by a nice cabernet. The wine list was quite good and priced to be a good value as well. Warm bread and seasoned butter was served with our salads. My wife enjoyed chicken with pasta and I enjoyed the rib eye steak. Large portions well prepared. My only complaint was that the steak was slightly over seasoned (salted) and the fettuccine a bit bland but perfectly cooked. We were visiting from the foodie paradise Portland, Oregon and do have very high expectations. On that scale this restaurant would rate a 4 but service was so exceptional I give our experience a 5. I don't know what the problem was for others but this place I highly recommend. read more

Read about it and thought we'd give it a try. We waited about 5 minutes to get seated, then another 5 for a server. Our server was nice, but only saw her when she brought our drinks, took our order, brought our food, asked if we wanted desert and brought our check. I had finished my water before I received my food and was never offered a refill. The food was okay nothing special. I ordered the cheeseburger, it was good but too much Russian sauce was dripping all over. They need to open up there selection of food more, not very much to choose from the menu. read more

We shared 4 appetizers, and 2 entrees amongst 4 of us, we had shrimp, lamb, chicken, SW egg rolls, chicken Parmesan, steak, and potato's. Every thing was delicious, we loved all of the different seasonings in each dish, the chef absolutely knows his way around the kitchen!
