This is a nice looking restaurant with unbelievable views. That's what you are paying for. The food is so so and the portions are small. I ordered the lamb with roast carrots and labneh, and it came with three small lamb chops that were super salty and at a cost of $69. I should've sent it back but I was tired and hungry. I suppose if you are staying at Mi Amo or Enchantment money isn't such an issue for you, but I still want to feel like there is value to the food. Among the best hotel/resort restaurants I've ever experienced!! The menu is excellent -- full of creative ideas and combos that can be mixed and re-mixed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all deliver. The ingredients are fresh and light and lotsa local. The preparations are light and healthy and flavory savory. The portion sizes are perfect -- leave the table never hungry, never stuffed. They had some roasted purple sweet potatoes that were incredible as a side to anything. I wouldn't have expected to love the fish up in the dessert highlands, but they nailed it and everything seemed super fresh and top quality. The setting and decor and seats are super comfy and pleasing, whether inside or outside, table or banquette. We were staying at Enchantment and would stay at Mii Amo next time just to be closer to the great pool and to Hummingbird. read more

Went for a breakfast. Restaurant is on the smaller side. Service is excellent - friendly and attentive. Food was fine. Eggs and potatoes had a bit too much butter for me, especially for a restaurant located within a spa, but others might like that. Tea was served loose leaf and presented nicely. We came here for lunch and after the meal it was apparent as to why the restaurant was so empty. The menu was lacking overall. We ordered the ramen and salmon , the K4 beef burger, the Cesar salad and "the refresher" from the juice bar. The burger was extremely disappointing. 38$ for a burger with no sides is insane the sauce it came with made the dish overly sweet but the sauce was needed since the burger was dry. Terrible overall. The salmon and ramen was okay but the thick sauce in the ramen gets tiring pretty fast. The cesar salad was great and the refresher juice was delicious. Nice place great views lots of birds in the patio. Menu should be upgraded in my opinion. read more

It's hard to understand why Hummingbird's reviews aren't soaring in the high four's to five's. I'm an excited foodie and have been a guest of Mii amo for the last week enjoying all my meals here and I couldn't be more blown away. Chef Zach Woodworth and his team are curating the most delicious locally sourced farm to table menu that is truly a love letter to Sedona and his time training in Paris. The hospitality and service is phenomenal in every way and their entire team is so welcoming and accommodating. It has exceeded my expectations coming from the hospitality industry and staying at a luxury property. The gorgeous ambiance and breathtaking natural backdrop of the Boynton Canyon has drawn me to their lovely patio for every meal. The views are unreal and when paired with excellent service and incredible food, this is what fine dining in a unique destination is all about. The amazing cuisine has been a highlight of this trip and I cannot wait until my next stay! read more

Came here last night and had a delicious dinner accompanied by a couple highly recommended Prickly Pear Margaritas. Our server could not have been more welcoming and we practically had the place to ourselves the entire time which was fabulous. We started with the 3 cheese board which included an aged Parmesan, 3 pieces of Gouda, Brie and accouterments such as fresh berries, dried apricots and a delicious mustard. Would definitely order again. For our mains, my husband ordered the pan-seared scallops with mushrooms. He said they were perfectly cooked and divine. I ordered the Zucchini Pappardelle which was served with a corn nage (sauce) and fresh tomatoes. It was very filling and tasty. The margaritas lived up to the hype and you have the option of a salt or sugar rim. read more

Despite the breathtaking backdrop, the food here seemed uninspired to me. Full disclosure- we only stopped by for brunch and juice/snacks (the lunch and dinner options were far too overpriced given our very mediocre brunch experience)- so maybe we missed out on the real hits. The shrimp and grits I ordered was on the dry, bland side (a completely different dish altogether from the god of shrimp and grits over at Husk in Charleston). The shrimp was overcooked and had lost all its tenderness. The grits seemed to have very little to no cheese- not how I like my grits. I don't typically eat food with a ton of salt, but the grits tasted like it had no salt at all. The nice proportion of red peppers and green onions were the only refreshing notes in this dish. Maybe this low calorie/low sodium food caters to spa guests on a weight loss quest, but it was not satisfying from the POV of someone who's just looking for a good hearty meal. Service was quick, friendly and prompt. And environs couldn't be nicer. Just wish there were food options for those not on a diet! read more

We had dinner here twice during our honeymoon stay at enchantment resort and had a wonderful experience both times! Our server on both nights Mickel (sp?) was excellent - the cheeseboard, scallops dish, and salmon dish he recommended were some of the best we have ever had. Mii Amo needs improvement. While Enchantment is, in my opinion, a 5-star resort, Mii Amo is really subpar. While we intended to eat at Mii Amo each morning during our stay at Enchantment, we only ate there once. During that visit, I ordered an egg white omelet, containing Swiss cheese and turkey bacon. Somehow, Mii Amo did not get a single aspect of my order correct. I was brought yellow scrambled eggs and a side of bacon. Mii Amo had to remake my order. However, the omelet - though correct this time - was really small and basic, and certainly overpriced. The French toast my partner ordered really wasn't anything special. In total, we spent $42 for the omelet and French toast; we didn't get any drinks. For $42, I would expect filling (not skimpy) portions and better service. We ate breakfast in Sedona the rest of our trip, which was really disappointing since its a 20-minute drive away read more

Perfect portion and liked the goat cheese and salsa on top. Avocado toast on multigrain - yum. Great flavors. Turkey bacon - gross. Tasted like turkey jerky. Returned for chicken sausage which was ok. Bison burger - delicious. Spread some Dijon mustard on it. Greek salad - simple and fresh. They were nice enough to split it for us. read more

During my recent visit to Enchantment Resort I visited the Mii Amo Cafe twice to dine. A reservation is suggested for dinner, but lunch and breakfast can be spontaneous. Seating is available indoor or on the small patio. Hummingbirds frequent the beautiful trumpet vine plant in the patio area. The food is beautifully presented and quite good. All high quality organic ingredients are used. I enjoyed the blue corn waffles for breakfast with prickly pear syrup. Prickly pear syrup is not as sweet as maple, but tasty. The portion size was small. Half of a waffle round with sour cherries. My dining partners enjoyed turkey hash with eggs and another an omelette. Smoothies, juices, coffee and tea are offered. Dinner at Mii Amo was more memorable. The restaurant rotates four menus for dinner. You can plan ahead and ask to see the menu to select the best menu form your dinner experience. Cocktails of Prickley Pear Margaritas were colorful as well as refreshing. We ordered Halibut and Grilled scallops. Both fish prepared perfectly and delicious. The green tea ice cream is not to be missed. Smooth, rich and buttery texture with a not too sweet taste. read more

Woohoo is right! The food at Mii amo Cafe complements the spa and spa services at Mii amo perfectly. Even if I wasn't staying here (although one must be a guest of either Mii amo or Enchantment to dine here) I would make it a point to dine in the restaurant for any of the scrumptious meals served here. And since I am staying here - as we have the last two years - and having enjoyed many wonderful meals here (breakfast, lunch, dinner and plenty of between meal snacks), served by friendly and extremely professional staff, I can say without equivocation; WOOHOO! read more

I did enjoy a juice from the juice bar but the lunch meal did not have much flavor. The view would make it worth a stop by possibly after hiking Bynton Canyon but once is enough for me. read more

Love Mii Amo but their cafe needs serious work. They literally got every aspect of my order wrong and didn't offer anything in exchange for the horrible experience. Celiacs be warned!!! I am gluten intolerant, thank god I don't have Celiac disease because I would have been in big trouble. I ordered the banana, almond butter toast on gluten free bread and a chai tea latte with almond milk. They brought me out a coffee latte with oat milk and my breakfast on regular bread. Halfway through eating the toast I was really impressed by how it tasted so inquired to confirm it was actually gluten free and get the brand. It was not gluten free. This could have been a disaster had my gluten intolerance been more serious. To me this deserves a manager being sent over, charges removed, something... yet nothing happened. We paid over $40 for a terrible experience that could have made me really sick. We never wentback for the rest of our stay. We found great little cafes down the road - check out Local Juicery for delicious smoothies and healthy breakfasts and Layla's Bakery for coffee, fab food and baked goods. read more
