This restaurant is in the JW Marriott by the airport. There are quite a few variety of choices for you to pick from for dinner. The place is a bit pricey, after all, it is in a JW Marriott. The reason I had to give them 3 stars is because of numerous things. We ordered bread. They delivered the bread halfway through our entree. I got the chicken fajitas and my husband got the chipotle chicken wrap. My fajitas were OK. I'm not sure if they matched the price OK, but I do know I pay for the location. My husband wasn't quite as pleased with his wrap. He felt it could use more flavor. I gave him some of my food. I was hoping for more of a Mexican flavor. Lesson learned. The server was very attentive.

Loved this place!…read more First, we had to change our reservation, and the host could not have been nicer. On a busy Saturday night, he graciously allowed us to push it back by an hour, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed. The jungle theme, leopard prints, intimate booths, and dramatic overhead lighting created a fun, unique atmosphere. The service was excellent, the cocktails were delicious, and every dish we ordered was a hit. My son said it may have been the best steak tartare he's ever had (although neither of us was a fan of the plantain chips). It was certainly the best tartare I've had in a very long time, with generous chunks of high-quality steak instead of being overly minced. The baked brie dip was outstanding, the grilled oysters were excellent, and my New York strip was cooked perfectly. My only small criticism is that the oyster appetizer came with just three oysters. For a $19 appetizer, I'd love to see at least four. An even number also makes sharing much easier, although my son generously let me have the extra one! Overall, this is a fantastic concept with great food, great service, and a memorable atmosphere. We can't wait to come back.

Both were really good but had a bit of a kick. For my entree I got the steak and it was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri sauce was so good. Lastly, I got the miso cheesecake for dessert and the flavors were incredible! I love the animal and jungle themed decor in this upscale restaurant. We were seated right next to the big stuffed leopard which was fun. Our waitress was super personable but there were a few service mistakes. My entree was missing the potatoes it was supposed to come with. And when they boxed my meal, they didn't include everything like the salad and chimichurri sauce. Luckily I checked and was able to get everything added, but staff shouldn't be neglecting or throwing away part of my meal. I would definitely come back here though as the ambience and food were top notch!

Flavors…read morewere all on point and as expected from the components on the menu, which doesn't happen often in Phoenix. The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. Service was excellent and the patio was well-lit and had heaters ready for colder weather. Vecina is on the pricier side for sure, but you will not be disappointed.

We ordered a bottle of wine and went to town on: White Bean Puree * Crispy Short Rib | Herb Salad | Flour Tortilla: Karaage * Aji Amarillo | Citrus Gastrique | Togarashi | Lime Elote * Chorizo Butter | Lime Creme Fraiche | Toasted Chiles Romaine * Buttermilk Dressing | Mexican Sriracha | Parmesan | Noble Bread Breadcrumbs Gambas al Ajillo * Wild Shrimp Co. Mexican Shrimp | Paprika Garlic Butter | Serrano Cruda | Garlic Noble Bread - this was the only dish that was not my favorite. SUPER flavorful but I wanted a more.. 'traditional' tapas Gambas al Ajillo flavor aka less paprika please. Saudero tacos (a brisket confit suadero tacos with a chile jam, aguacate, serrano cruda, toasted sesame, fresnos and micro cilantro) We sat on the patio for a wonderful AZ spring evening. The service was great. I also enjoyed their extensive tequila and mezcal menu. The only downside is the parking -- it's pretty small and shared with Lou Malnati's next door!

What we found was an absolute gem. The atmosphere was cozy, dimly lit, and comfortable, while still having enough energy to feel lively and fun. It was fairly quiet when we visited, but that's to be expected at 1:00 in the morning. We ordered the fried risotto balls and a pepperoni pizza, and proceeded to absolutely demolish every last bite. To this day, I'm still not sure whether it was the late-night munchies or if the food was genuinely that incredible. Either way, the result was the same: not a crumb was left behind. This was one of those unexpected finds that immediately earns a spot on the return list. We'll absolutely be back. Hidden gems are hard to find, and this place feels like one of them.

The restaurant is perfect for Arcadia and the "feel" is spot on for a place that truly welcomes you in. Though, the stuffing underneath was pretty burnt, which took away from the dish. We also ordered the biscuits, but they came out visibly burnt and were much denser than I expected. Our server was great about it and had them comped from the bill without any issue. The gnocchi was probably my favorite thing we tried, and the drinks were excellent as well. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was better than I've experienced at some restaurants with similar price points. Overall, we skipped dessert and left feeling a little underwhelmed. For the price, I expected a more polished experience. I'm happy to have tried it and checked it off my list.

The only dish that didn't quite meet our expectations was the corn bread, but when we told the server he was so kind about it and we were able to exchange it for a different side. The overall service was great! I made a reservation for 4 on a Saturday afternoon and got seated right away. Kyle checked up on us frequently and our food came out pretty quick too! Also, at the bar area there was a TV that played the world cup game, and afterwards baseball. I think this can be a nice lowkey place to watch a game since the vibe was chill. Keep in mind the everyday happy hour is only for the cocktails: the cocktails are $6 and we all enjoyed ours. I got a No. 22 and really liked it. If you don't drink, you can also make the cocktails to mocktails too. Before coming here, I had once been to the next door ice cream place Churn before, but this was my first time coming to Windsor, and I didn't even realize they served the Churn ice cream too for desert! My friends and I shared a triple scoop of double chocolate, sweet cream, and cookies & mint in a cup. It was a good amount of ice cream for the 4 of us, not too sweet either. This place is also advertised as dog-friendly online, which I assume was meant for the outdoor patio seating (the patio looked cute, it had misters and was covered). Overall, great place!!
