    Roasted Chicken Quesadilla

We ate at the bar, not in the restaurant. The bartender was also the only waitress, so service was very slow and weak. She was clearly frazzled most of the time. We tried to help her out by walking up to the bar to place our food order, but she didn't like that. Overall just not a good experience from a service standpoint. My chicken quesadilla was pretty good. The red salsa was actually interesting and tasty. The burger was also pretty good. Fries were not hot. Chocolate cake was super lousy. Not at all moist as described. It's unfortunate that there aren't other restaurant options close to this hotel.

Sterile environment, non consistent food. service and food. Order room service where your standards are lower and you will be happie

The worst meal I have ever paid for. Overcooked meat, unmelted cheese, total dearth of bbq sauce, awful fries. I didn't even finish it.

This place was awful and a horrid waste of my money. I wish that I'd called a cab, paid them to take me anywhere else, and paid whatever the cost was when I got there for any other food. I shouldn't have been lazy. I shouldn't have thought "Hey, I'll just drop into the hotel restaurant for a quick bite before turning it for the night. That will be fine." I was wrong to think that. My wallet and my taste buds still have not forgiven me. I went simple. What's something that's hard to mess up? I ordered a burger. It actually sounded pretty good too. Some kind of house-made Jack Daniel's barbecue sauce on a burger, topped with onion rings and cheese. Side of fries. I've been down this road. What could go wrong? Everything. It was awful. Please use the image I've posted as a reference. The burger was way overcooked. The cheese was not even melted. It was like they put cold singles on top of an already cooled down burger and they just sat there, perfectly geometric. The "onion rings" amounted to a single "I totally came out of a frozen bag" pathetic onion ring that didn't even look appetizing or add anything to the burger because of how unsubstantial it was. The house-made Jack-Daniel's barbecue sauce that was championed on the menu as the flagship of this masterpiece? Almost non-existent! Where is the barbecue sauce?! There was a dusting at best on top of the aformentioned abysmal onion ring! It was as if the onion ring accidentally came into contact with a dab of some barbecue sauce and the frantic cook wiped as much off as they could before sending this monstrosity out into the world. And the fries were disgusting. I didn't even finish the first one I tasted. Soggy. Revived frozen food that was bad even before it was frozen. Awful. This was one of the worst meals I have ever had the unfortunate luck of paying for. Don't go here. Go anywhere else. McDonald's could be a James Beard Award winner, comparatively.

    So many choice O.o

Great service, good food. Limited menu during Covid, but good selection. I had the wings, and Chicken salad.

We made our reservation online and were seated right away, which made for a great start to our celebration. It took a little while for our waitress to come to our table, but the restaurant was very busy since it was the weekend. Once she arrived, she was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. One thing we really enjoyed was the live DJ, who kept the atmosphere fun with excellent music. We were seated toward the back of the restaurant, which worked out perfectly for our large party and gave us plenty of space to enjoy our meal together. For drinks, we ordered two Bloody Marys, two beers, a mimosa flight, waters, and lemonades. The only disappointment was the Bloody Marys. For the price, we expected them to be garnished with olives and the traditional toppings that usually come with a Bloody Mary. Our table ordered a variety of dishes, including the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, Chicken & Waffles, Flapjack Tenders, the French Toast Sandwich (served with breakfast potatoes and syrup), Oxtails with Dirty Rice, and Catfish & Grits. Overall, the food was delicious. The Cinnamon Roll Pancakes were good, although we expected a little more cinnamon roll flavor and icing, similar to what we've experienced at other restaurants. The biggest disappointment was the oxtails. While they were flavorful and well-prepared, the portion size was smaller than expected, especially considering the $43 price tag. A helpful tip for anyone visiting with a large group: the restaurant will only split the check into two separate bills, so it's a good idea to bring cash or plan your payment arrangements in advance. Overall, we had a wonderful experience celebrating our sister's birthday. The lively atmosphere, great music, delicious food, and attentive service made for an enjoyable brunch. We look forward to returning in the future. We also learned that the owner has another restaurant called Soulful Tacos, which we're excited to try soon.

The Nana's Soul plate used to come with more than two ribs, then it was reduced to two, and now it's down to just one unless you pay extra for another. The plate also used to include all three sides--mac and cheese, collard greens, and beans--along with cornbread. Now you're limited to choosing only two sides, and the cornbread is gone. It's disappointing to see how much the restaurant has declined since the beloved Nana passed away. I hate to say it, but I won't be returning.

The person managing the front end was very friendly. The on screen menu was clear with color photos and easy to read. Technology was at the forefront with a large screen kiosk and easy payment processing. After choosing our own seating, the food arrived hot and the presentation was great. Every texture and spice was noted. Highly recommend the XXL Combo which gives an official tour of the tastes and offerings. The dining area was clean and simple. There were some minor cosmetic items that needed attention. But nothing took away from the overall dining experience. Great place to eat in or order out.

Tucked back in a small building, just off Southern Avenue, you'll find Southern Fried. It is a small little walk in store front, so plan ahead to order out. We went ahead and ordered online to make things simple and easy. As shown on their building and advertised they show they serve Jamaican food so I was pretty let down when I looked at the menu to discover they do not have any Jamaican food. Seeing pictures of previous Yelp reviews of jerk chicken and oxtail left me bummed. We ended up ordering the fried okra, fried mushrooms, the 2 fish and 5 shrimp combo, along with the fried catfish and fries. We took our food to go and headed home, just around the corner. Once opening the containers i instantly got excited about the mushrooms. Anyone that knows me knows i am mushroom obsessed. With a quick dip in the ranch that came with and popping one into my mouth.... Yummmm! The okra was a bit of a miss. It seems they were still a bit slimy. Moving along to our main courses, I was disappointed to find that our fish was packed on top of our fries and the fries were very limp, soggy and unseasoned. I think packing the takeout differently could easily eliminate this issue. The catfish and shrimp were seasoned to perfection. They both had a perfect blend of spice and a light and crispy batter. I would love to see Jamaican food on the menu, as the advertising is a bit deceptive. Overall I would definitely be willing to try them again and would love to give one of their burgers a taste test.

From the moment we stepped inside, the intimate ambiance and warm service set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Each course was a thoughtful journey through seasonal flavors, beautifully plated and perfectly paced. Standouts were pork cheeks that melts-in-your-mouth. The cocktail and wine that we took were spot-on, elevating each bite and adding another layer of indulgence. The chef's passion clearly shines through every dish, and the attention to detail, from the local ingredients to the printed menu, made the experience feel extra special. It's rare to find a place that so thoroughly delivers on its promise, but this little gem exceeded all expectations. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommended for food lovers looking for something intimate and exceptional. Well, do note that they don't do anything special for birthdays, at least they did not do for us when I reserved a spot via OpenTable with the details already.

Our first visit to The Larder and the Delta made us feel that many of the aspects of Binkleys that made a meal there so special are still accessible. Chef Stephen perpetuates the spirit of Binkleys. The tasting menu deconstructs and reassembles familiar and unexpected ingredients into unique plates. The menu seems to change frequently. The Cod Cheeks and Wagyu Short Ribs were favorites during our menu. We were able to enjoy cocktails and two plates outdoors before moving to the dining room for the rest of our meal.
