We had reservations to sit outside, but the table was tiny, so we decided to move to the bar and I'm so glad we did because the service was fantastic. The bartender was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. Their margarita was delicious and so refreshing. I loved that it's made with only three ingredients and you can really taste how clean and balanced it is. For our appetizer we ordered the Pressed Yellowtail Sushi. It was really flavorful and beautifully presented. The only thing I wish they had was a little wasabi on the side. For dinner we split the Braised Short Rib and it was incredible. I know I have already reviewed, maybe more than once even, but it's so good, I always have to sing their praises. Never can go wrong with their short rib pot stickers. I dream of their umami brussel sprouts, which is the perfect mix of cheese and sweet soy. This place is definitely one of my new favorite spots. I'd made a reservation for 3 on a weeknight around 515p and was glad I did since it did get busy. This location of The Henry is very large, and had a breakfast/coffee bar area that I'll have to come back and check out. Emma was the hostess and when I asked about the happy hour menu, she said you have to be seated in certain areas to take part in it. She offered to move me if I decided I wanted to move later. Jenna was our waitress and was super awesome, making an exception for our table to have the happy hour specials. I really appreciated this. She recommended the Uptown Cocktail and it was great!! We tried the Umami Brussel Sprouts which were a 10/10! So good, highly recommend! We also tried the Short Rib Potstickers which were good. The Henry has just the right combination of classy and casual. I can see why they call themselves the "Greatest neighborhood restaurant." I knew I would love this place before I even stepped foot into the establishment. Sometimes you just have a good feeling about a place because of how it presents but don't even realize that it could be even better than expected. Well, that is the case with The Henry's location in Arcadia. It has been such a pleasure to dine here for a casual coffee and get work done, lunch, dinner or brunch. Each occasion has been quite enjoyable with great customer service, well flavored food and just a lovely place to have any meal. Here is a list of items I have tried: 1.Egg White Turkey Omelet with home fries. Minus the Turkey- A great brunch option with a generous egg white and mixed veggies with well seasoned home fries. 2.Scottish Salmon with risotto and beets- This dish was very interesting and the combination of flavors surprisingly complemented each. Especially the sweet flavor of the beets pulled the dish together. 3.Spicy Tuna & Crispy Rice* and side of fries- Such a great appetizer. I love rice but this dish was an interesting twist on what form rice can come in and was still happy! 4.Cinnamon Coffee Cake and Cinnamon Tea- The cinnamon cakes was tasty and a good size. The tea complemented cake very well. 5.Bagel and Cream Cheese- You can't mess this up. 6.French Toast- Solid Brunch option and well balanced sweetness with light cream cheese frosting. If you love a cinnabon the this was its cousin. 7.Flower Child Scrambled with Eggs Whites- Such a large portion and wholesome meal. Loved that they were able to accommodate the request to do egg whites and not have any meat. Smoked Pineapple Margarita- I was told it tastes as good as it looks. The staff here are just top notch. I love that they have :uniforms" which keeps things so dignified and classy. Plus, the spoon tie pin is just such a neat detail. I just can't rave about this place enough. This place is AMAZING! The food, service, and ambiance are all 5 stars. First, a huge shout-out to my waiter, Ben. He was doing some next-level multitasking and didn't skip a beat. Even after we paid the bill and sat for a while chatting, he noticed my water was empty and still came over to refill it. Now the food. We started with the guacamole and the artichoke and ricotta dip--both were creamy and delicious. I ordered a sangria and it was perfection in a glass. Super refreshing in this Phoenix heat. The best service you'll ever see the food the best food you'll ever eat and the coffee always great and fresh and just the overall environment is just perfect even if you want to just go work/ study at the tables, you can do that as well. Get a little work done use the Wi-Fi. It's a perfect spot for everything. You can do fine dining to casual here and you know it's just so perfect. The Henry was the perfect brunch spot for my sister in laws bachelorette! We decided to go out to brunch only one day and made a reservation for this cute spot! To start, of course we ordered some cocktails. I did the espresso martini. It was so good! We also ordered the truffle fries because how can you not. I loved the aioli it came with! We used to go here quite a bit and it was always hit or miss, so we stopped going for a while. We decided to try it out again. Unfortunately, it was not the best experience. They seated us at a table that looked like it wasn't cleaned. Crumbs all over the table and chairs. We had to ask someone to clean it before we could sit. Our server was not super friendly. She did the job, but did not go above or beyond. They were out of the seabass tacos that I wanted and when we asked why because it was before noon, she said "I don't know, I'm just the messenger." The didn't even offer to find out about it. That being said, the person sitting next to us was eat the fish tacos so just have gotten the last one? The food took a really long time to come out. Our server didn't let us know, but one of the managers came was nice enough to come out and apologize. She said the kitchen was having a hard time keeping up. We've seen this place busier than it was this time, so not sure why they were having such a hard time. Unfortunately, by the time the food came out, the ahi tuna green curry dish and hot honey chicken sandwich/fries were cold. The Korean skirt steak was also cooked more than medium. I have enjoyed some brunches and even happy hours in the past, and my wife has had work lunches there, but it was both of our first dinner visits recently. We must have interacted with at least four different bartenders, and they were all friendly, knowledgeable, and hard-working. Our server was also very friendly and knowledgeable and build some great rapport with us. We stopped in Saturday for Brunch. The Henry was crowded with families and various celebrations. Since it was a 40 minute wait for a table, we elected to sit at the bar which we enjoy so it's not a problem. The Henry has a great vibe. It is loud but in a good way. Lots of laughs and great conversation happening around us. We sat in Ben's section at the bar. Ben was excellent. Super attentive and friendly. We ordered Bloody Mary's to start. I ordered the Bacon blue and my husband ordered the poblano. Both were very tasty! What I enjoyed about sitting in Ben's section is that he didn't rush us to order food. We enjoyed our drinks before he asked us if we would be ordering food. I hate being rushed to order food so we were able to sit and enjoy our drinks, engage in conversation without being constantly asked about placing an order. Ben also kept our waters full and an eye on our other beverage levels. For food, we both ordered the eggs benedict. They came with crispy potatoes and small dressed greens. My husbands eggs were cooked perfect with runny yoke and cooked whites. Mine were a little runny so could have used 30 more seconds or so. However the dish was delicious. Oh wow, I had a random out-of-nowhere craving for steak (though honestly, not sure what that means). I checked Yelp and landed on The Henry. They offer delivery, so I gave it a shot. I went with an All-American burger, as is, medium, with cheese and a bit nervous because beef often bothers my senses, but this burger was amazing! NO weird beefness AT ALL. It traveled super well and was packed perfectly. Maybe a tiny bit salty for me, but salt is subjective, so no biggie. I added Umami brussels sprouts as a side (for an upcharge) and they were totally worth it! Big serving and cooked just right. I was full halfway through the burger but still finished every bite. Honestly, one of the best burgers I've had, and when I ~was more of a burger person, I preferred cheeselessness. I also got a quinoa bowl (they serve breakfast until 3pm), just in case the burger was a dud, so it's still waiting to be eaten, but I did snack on some potatoes with salsa and cotija cheese, which was ummyumm. Had some people in town visiting, so I decided on breakfast/brunch at The Henry. Our server Hannah was fantastic--super attentive, warm, and welcoming from start to finish. Before I even sat down, I had a fun conversation with the girl at the pastry counter who was really engaging and kind. Once seated, I started with the mixed berry danish, which was solid--very flaky and berry-forward. For drinks, I loved the Bloody Mary options, and the espresso martini hit the spot as well. For my main, I went with the crab cake and added an egg, which I asked for over medium but came out sunny side up. It actually worked perfectly though--the arugula salad paired beautifully with a squeeze of lemon, bringing everything together nicely. My friends ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Cinnamon Sugar French Toast, both of which I got to taste. The Benedict had a house-made english muffin and that was good, but the side of potatoes were slightly overcooked and the bacon was tougher than expected. The French toast had great flavor but the edges were overly hard and chewy--it needed more time soaking in the custard. With so much cinnamon sugar flavor already there, regular maple syrup would've been perfect. The Henry's food never really blows me away, but it's a solid and consistent go-to spot in Arcadia. My friend had her baby shower at The Henry. I had no idea they had so many areas for hosting and celebrations, but we were in the tasting kitchen and it was really beautiful! Because this was a private event, service was a bit different than usual. We had a few servers who took our drink orders and food orders, they were kind and attentive. The baby shower had a pre-set selection of appetizers, meals, and desserts. I loved the hummus and carrots! For my meal I opted for a harvest bowl, it was equally delicious. For dessert she had brownie bites and carrot cake cheesecake bites. The whole baby shower was a home run. My friend was allowed to bring in outside flowers (from AJ's) for the centerpiece and they had two cocktail tables for sign-in and gifts. Beautiful room and it was very private. When we entered I saw a coffee bar/dessert set-up that looked like it was meant for to-go orders. I asked the hostess if we could grab a seat at the bar and we were promptly given menus with the go ahead. Well here goes the rub. We chatted with a staff member that was restocking glassware, but it was made clear a bartender/server would have to take our order. Well it took several minutes to get water/greeting. Downside? Well those 15 mins that flew by meant brunch was no longer being served. Happy hour was not daily, but I came for food so that was a minor detail. Not because food specials are not offered, but I had no expectation for the menu itself. Well maybe the one, that I could get a brunch type item. That aside, it feels like the neighborhood bar that is packed with regulars. If you ever felt like your seat was someone's Sundays favorite, well that's the best way I could describe it. Lots of conversations with certain people and an icy feeling when your turn was up. The menu felt limited, but the food had was good. I skipped drinking because it was clear to me that I'd prefer to explore other areas in town. Luckily we have friends to help a tourist like me out. The coffee was probably my favorite part of the experience. Love a bold and sweet coffee anyday. Maybe others will get a more rounded experience or go during a non peak time. read more

The Henry came highly recommended so had to check it out! Really cool vibes inside, especially with the exposed rafter beams at the ceiling. The service was friendly and attentive. Had to try to the short rib potstickers (delicious) and even got a second order after dinner. I had the "Wagyu" cheeseburger which was pretty satisfying, although i was hungry enough for a few potstickers afterward. However, I've a fundamental disdain for advertising cheeseburgers as "Wagyu" to justify the price. Wagyu ground beef may as well be regular ground beef and you cant change my mind! My husband and I went out for a date night. We have been trying to come to this spot for a very long time, he just happened to surprise me with going last night! This restaurant was homely & intimate. We started with some drinks and an appetizer at the bar. The wait was only 30 minutes for the two of us but the bartenders were inviting. The service was prompt and the bartender was friendly and understood that we were waiting for a table. Once we sat down at a table, the server was also prompt & to the point. We ordered our drinks and then our entrees as soon as we were greeted. The food was divine! We are definitely going to come back here! Dessert was splendid. We saw many groups order this dessert so we had to also try it and I am thankful we did! I truly recommend coming here, even if it's for breakfast or lunch. My friend made reservations for brunch here for the 4th of July. It was an old Applebees location I believe and their renovation was amazing because it felt nothing like the Applebees chain. The detail in the chairs, chandelier, the wallpaper in the restrooms to the cocktail menu was so well thought out and unique. My favorite color is green so it was nice to see the main accent color was green. I've never actually been to any of the other Henry locations and now I'll want to try them all because our experience here was amazing. It wasn't busy and the atmosphere was very open and has a very Palm Springs vibe! The food = incredible! The portions were perfect! We also ordered cocktails for brunch. Two mimosa with guava and then two espresso martinis. Both drinks were also very delightful. The guava for the mimosa was so refreshing you can keep drinking more! They should add unlimited mimosas to their menu!! The espresso martini had a hint of orange and if you love those orange type chocolates, you'd absolutely love this drink. All in all, an amazing experience as our waiter was attentive and never skipped a beat! I've already told several folks to go for brunch and a few have already texted me that they've loved it! I say add unlimited mimosas to the menu and this place will be even more of a hit! read more

Brought my team here after a full day of meetings and reserved the group room which has a large square table so everyone can see and talk with each other without feeling segregated. The wall opened up to large doors/windows for a view of the outside and fresh air. There was a small hiccup with our group orders but once it was brought to their attention they absolutely made it right and then some. I would definitely return. Food and drinks got a thumbs up from our group of 20 with lots of special dietary restrictions. They met every single one. Very attentive. read more
