We had a late start, but was needing food. We had a place in mind but the line was crazy long. We did a quick search on Yelp and found this little gem! Wow, that's all we can say. We were so hungry that we forgot about pictures, but I had the waffle meal, it was more than enough and was so good. The whip cream must have been homemade, I've never tasted anything as good. My husband had the biscuits and gravy. My daughter had the seafood omelette. We all had the AMAZING hash brown casserole and no one left disappointed. We will be back again! read more

Pros - no wait time, staff was absolutely amazing Cons - everything else. No pancakes or waffles, small menu, French toast was COVERED in sugar that gave me a toothache just looking at it, sausage was so hard my kids couldn't bite it, biscuit was thin then grilled with butter so it was greasy, and to top it all off we paid $50 for a 4 person family that split just two meals. So many would tell you to go to The Donut Hole for breakfast in Destin and while it's a very good place to eat, the breakfast table cafe beats it in every way. Great friendly staff and amazing food. The Hashbrown Casserole is definitely the side to get. Trust me. Scrambled eggs are the perfect fluffy texture that is so difficult to get right. Thankfully a new breakfast place in the center of Destin. This is a new restaurant that just opened a few weeks ago and is centrally located. I ordered the "quiche if the day" breakfast and it was standard fare. Place has around ten four-person and eight two-person tables so seating is limited. Three total servers were very friendly but obviously overwhelmed and struggled to keep up...not surprising for a new place. I arrived at ten o'clock on Saturday and they were already full so I was offered single outside decorative table...bad choice on my part. This put me out of sight, out of mind and service was intermittent. Menu features plenty of interesting options for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast market in Destin is sorely underserved. This addition is very welcome -but- they definitely need to improve speed and quality of service. I had to ask for silverware, sugar and creamer for coffee. My outdoor table allowed me to overhear two groups of patrons departing with complaints about service and accuracy of the bill. I give it three stars but plan on returning to see if service gets better and will reward with improved score. read more

Adorable place. Very clean and a little eclectic. The owners were working as a few wait staff neglected to show up. They were hustling and obviously take pride in their product. The food was incredibly good and even if we'd had to wait , it would have been worth it. We were casually in and out in under an hour. It's the beach ... slow down and remember to chill. My boyfriend and tried this cafe for the first time while in Destin, and it is a busy cafe! We went in for brunch around 10:30-11am. There was a wait. Since it was just us two, we waited less than 20 minutes I believe. The food did take a while to come out but we were okay with waiting. The portions are huge! This is a really good place for breakfast but it wasn't mind blowing for us. I got a bowl of fruit as my side, and the strawberries are too ripe, it was gooey looking, and I didn't eat it. However, I can't say that I was impressed with the food. Neither was anyone in my group. Between us, we ordered an omelette, a "breakfast", breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito, chocolate chip pancakes (my son and daughter said that the chocolate chips were nasty - not sure what was going on there) and I got the Breakfast Sundae. I added avocado and hollandaise sauce. With those additions, it was fine. Kind of small for the price though. Guess we're still in search of a great (and relatively inexpensive - I refuse to pay huge $ for EGGS) breakfast place. read more

Five stars. The food was so good here my girlfriend and I had to come back the next day. There is outdoor dining and short waits to be seated. There is also a good mix of the locals and tourists, young and old. The staff is very down to earth and friendly. You can draw on the tables and put your picture on the wall so the place is kid friendly. In regards to the food I had the breakfast burrito both days just to ensure that it was gonna be just as good both days and it was. My gf had the omlette one day the French toast the next. OMG, what a treat and well worth the week long vegan hiatus! My family and I stopped here for brunch on our way out of Destin. The restaurant is fairly small with a quiet and casual dining setting. The staff was friendly, and the owner greeted us as we entered. Menu items were all reasonably priced, compared to the hiked-up prices of many places in the area. There was also a daily special item not listed on the menu. My husband and I ordered the shrimp and grits and the french toast to share. My mom ordered the daily special, which I can't remember the name of the dish, but it is best described as very tastefully done fish and grits. Hands down, the best shrimp and grits I've tasted to date. With every bite, I couldn't get over how good it was. The french toast was good, not great, but good. The family will be back down to the coast next month, and we've already marked this as a sure stop. read more

I love that it was local.. the eggs were some of the best eggs I've ever had in my life... I don't know why that made me happy..but it did lol... pancake order was huge, filled up the entire plate with two pancakes they were good...stay away from the hash browns nothing special about them..they're pressed into a little triangular cake they look better than they tasted, no seasoning.
