The breakfast table is a small diner like Destin breakfast spot just off popular stretch of Highway in Destin Florida. Me and my wife and our youngest who is 1 went out one morning while on our vacation while our older girls slept in. They were extremely understaffed and had signs warning or long waits due to cooking everything from scratch. So when we walked In Even though the patio was all open and about 4 tables were wide open we had a 30 min wait so the staff wasn't overwhelmed and mistreating us. I can respect that but also I'd rather sit at a table and still get drinks and relax while waiting for food. But I get it. Everyone is different. For our meal i personally got the pancake meal with bacon and eggs. I order my back. Limp or fatty and my eggs over easy. Neither we cooked correctly but they were still pretty good. Pancakes were solid as well. More thick then they are wide but had a good fluffy taste to them. My wife got the French toast meal and she liked it. The French toast was a little too candy coated for her liking but she ultimately enjoyed it and the baby smashed them. So one year old approved for sure. We put in some to go orders for our daughters. My Oldest goy a southwestern omelette and was impressed. Overall it was an ok visit. I don't necessarily agree with there philosophy when understaffed and they have a very limited menu (maybe due to understaffing as well). Food was solid. I didn't eat at any other breakfast places in Destin so I can't really compare it to other locals. But there are several places back home in Lousiville that i think are Better and don't come with the essential tourism tax of being in a hot spot destination. Workers were nice and did what they could so respect for that. If your a breakfast fan I don't see any reason to avoid this place. Solid spot.

Great little cafe. The staff was pleasant and polite. The homemade cappuccino was very flavorful and delightful. The food was spot on. We had 2 kids with us who noted they wanted to come back because the food was so good. You will wait a little time but the food is hot and fresh. We had a variety of foods and the French Toast was a huge hit among the kids as were the pancakes. My husband said they were some of the best he has had. Glad we tried this out and we look forward to returning.

Margot was attentive, friendly and prompt. Interior was fun and colorful. Drinks were brought over pretty quick. Golden Mimosa Carafe - more for your buck! Brunch was delicious! Everything came out hot! We did wait a bit, but thats understandable- we also run a small restaurant. We are so glad we stopped by and enjoyed every bite! Chef came out and greeted us! Thank you!!!!!!

We heard the wait was long, and boy is it ever. We waited almost 45 minutes just for a table. Once we sat down service was very prompt. We ordered the western omelette with a biscuit, hash brown casserole, and a make your own omelette. The food is prepared to order so everything came out fresh and hot. There was no liquid egg here. Real eggs, real cheese, fresh vegetables, and hand-shredded potatoes. Honestly my favorite was the biscuit. It wasn't a dry flaky one, it was crispy and moist. Very delicious. Food is a bit pricey but it was worth it. The restaurant is decorated in a beach vibe with pretty pictures everywhere and is painted in beautiful bright colors. The restrooms are so pretty and very clean. Staff were very friendly. This breakfast cafe is well worth a stop but don't be in a hurry.

Cutesy breakfast spot with polite appreciative staff. Didn't have to wait too long to be seated on a rainy saturday afternoon. There is both indoor & outdoor dining. Limited alcohol (I think only mimosas, screwdrivers & bloody Marys). Small menu, but accommodating. Enjoyed my eggs benedict without meat - eggs cooked perfectly, yummy sauce. Would come here again- they offer takeout too.

This cute gem is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Destin. We spot here on our yearly trip to the beach. Everyone is always kind and food is delicious! Our waitress, Ashley, was very attentive and sweet. She was nervous because she was new but she did a fantastic job. Everything we ordered was hot and delicious. The restaurant itself is so cute, has great decor and the restrooms are always clean. They offer outside seating and will do separate checks ( which can be hard to get sometimes). I appreciate the consistency every visit...see y'all next year!!!

Small cafe with personal service and a nice atmosphere . We had breakfast and our server was excellent. The food was good but seemed a little pricey for what you got. It was more fancy than delicious. I wasn't blown away but if you want a decent meal and local charm this is your place. You will get in and out quickly. Enjoy

    Breakfast burrito with sausage

Ordered: breakfast burrito with sausage, grits with cheese, wheat toast and Coffee Server name is Ashley. She stated she's only been working for 5 days for recently new server and very very nice and upfront. I really liked her as our server. They use to have a menu in the past but now all their food items are listed on a board on the wall. They did not have the breakfast burrito listed but my friend asked if they could still make one and they reluctantly were able to make it for the both of us. Coffee - typical cup of Joe. Free refills and it has a nice bold flavor. Breakfast burrito - as mentioned above, it's not listed on their board menu but I was in luck to have the chef make it. Inside has cut up sausage links, hash browns, and scrambled eggs. The exterior of the tortilla had a nice crisp crunch. The hash browns provided that nice soft, fluffy filling with the scrambled eggs. Also provided is the pico de gallo which added that sweet tang. Definitely did not need to add anything else onto the burrito. Cheese grits - was not to my liking. The cheese is melted on top by the heat of the grits. The grits were on the okay side of flavor. Texture was a little more on the clumpy thick side. Overall - highly would recommend coming back here! Great honest service, although it was slow to have our food made but for the quality of food, I can take that.

Wow. Great deco, smooth tunes, feels good here. But a great opportunity- missed today. We waited it out for 35 of a 20 min wait. They were open about the Covid restrictions - which were understood and accepted. Has some outdoor seating but no waitstaff for those today. We watched 2 tables not getting bussed while folks were waiting. They lost at least 2 four tops and 3 deuces. Not in a big hurry to serve it seemed. When we finally sat we were told immediately there is a back up in the kitchen. (Why not say before?) The food Fantastic actually! I had 2 eggs bacon hash browns- delicious. Hubby had western omelette which was so freshly made! Food is really good. We watched a mismatch of seating for Covid but no one seemed to care. Meanwhile the tables sat un-bussed the entire hour plus we were there. They could have done so much more business. Verdict. Given our first visit we would try again. The food was really good for breakfast and they had mimosas :). But know that you may have this situation- and decide if it's worth the wait. It was for us.

I had a togo order , simple just one french toast meal. First time trying this place and omg everything is delicious BUT the french toast is MAGNIFICENT!! Definitely something to write home about! Also nice waitress and a family business so go support your locals!! Had to snap a pic before i finished devouring !!

Ambiance (beyond cute) and lovely waitress is what earns this place its stars as well as a very good, if expensive, vanilla late. The problem is it took an hour to get our food (an omelet w/ a side of fruit and scrambled eggs & bacon with fruit). And when the food came the scrambled eggs were a little raw and slimy inside but the bacon was nice and crisp. It may have just been the case of a lost ticket or something since a woman who came in about 25 minutes after us, got her food about 15 minutes before us. I wanted to give this place more stars because the cute atmosphere/vibe was great!

Denver Omelette with grits and biscuits

Excellent service, moving around room to take care of everyone. Very beautiful colors different kind of table space but it surely looks good.

    Mile high club

Stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting Destin. The food was delicious, staff was friendly and are hardworking individuals. Wait times can be long (just a heads up) but the food is totally worth the wait!

Weekends seem to be busy, so be prepared to wait a little. You can call ahead and get on their waiting list, they don't take reservations. Our servers were wonderful both times. First time we went I ordered the Maque Choux Benedict. The base was beautiful Golden brown Green Tomatoes instead of English muffin, delicious Crab cakes on top of that, topped off with poached eggs, scratch made maque choux, Creole Hollandaise, Andouille sausage, green onions and dusted with paprika. My sister got the Crawfish Egg-toufee. It also had the fried green tomatoes as the base, topped with Bacon, poached eggs, Creole Hollandaise, Crawfish and green onion. Both dishes were delicious. The Maque Choux Benedict was so good I devoured the entire dish. It's a really filling dish so it was perfect before the hike my sister and I went on. Second time around I ended up getting the Lobster gouda grits and my sister got Avocado toast with Lobster. The grits was delicious, just the right amount of spice and creamy. It's a must try. My sister enjoyed her dish as well. All in all we had a great experience and will definitely return on our next visit.

Considered the crab croissant, but the pics on here didn't look so good and the croissant didn't look golden brown or flaky, like I tend to favor. We ordered the spicy carb scramble, cup of coconut grits, iced coffee, less whipped cream, jerk chicken basket, island burger and Blue Mahoe beer. $51.71 for everything except the island burger and the Blue Mahoe beer. The iced coffee comes topped with whipped cream, it's mixed with chocolate. It's obviously very chocolatey as a result of the added chocolate. The Blue Mahoe beer is made with mango, it's different for sure. The base of the beer tastes like a Blue Moon, maybe. Shows mango cart on the cocktail menu, no idea what a mango cart means though. Service was good, although our waitress seemed like she might be new since she didn't know the specifics of the menu items. Not sure why I was thinking the jerk chicken would not be on the bone, so that made it a bit messier than planned. The island burger is spicy, my FIL enjoyed it. The spicy crab scramble was good. Could have better jam to go with the toast, the grape jelly didn't look anything like a jelly and was quite runny for my toast at least. The mixed berry was a bit thicker for spreading. The coconut grit was quite creamy, just a very subtle coconut flavor. The jerk chicken sauce is super flavorful and quite good. The cabbage slaw on the side was bland and seemed like an afterthought to me. The fries were partly over fried and as if the oil had saturated into a few of the fries to make them look translucent even. Still overall a nice lunch.

They also have a charming gift shop that's worth checking out. The restaurant was clean, well-managed, and organized despite the crowd. We were seated within five minutes, and our table was greeted immediately for drink orders. Our server, Ethan, was excellent--attentive, efficient, and friendly throughout the meal. I ordered the Surf & Turf, featuring a 14-ounce ribeye and snow crab legs, along with coleslaw and lemon dill rice. The steak was cooked very well, though it could have used a little more seasoning. The snow crab legs were sweet and flavorful, especially dipped in the melted butter. The coleslaw was fresh and delicious, and the lemon dill rice was the perfect accompaniment, soaking up all the flavors from the steak and crab. This was the perfect spot for our group to gather after a long day at the beach. The atmosphere, service, and location made for a wonderful dining experience. The"bucket" drink is basically $25 for pineapple juice that had gone bad three days ago. Super disappointing. This is the 6th meal we have eaten in the Destin area, the most expensive so far and least worth it. The only saving grace is if you are lucky enough to be sat next to the open air windows - windy, but great view.
