Stopped here for a quick bite while at the Harborwalk Village. Wasn't terrible, wasn't amazing. As we Texas boys call it, mid. Got the grilled cheese with the Sloppy Joe mix. It was alright. Would I have it again? Probably not. Comes with some plain potato chips and BBQ dipping sauce. The bread and butter fry was executed well on sandwich. Very touristy area so all the restaurants are severely overpriced. Recommend at least checking out one of these food trucks and then moving on to the main dinner spot somewhere far away from the boardwalk. read more

While at the touristy boardwalk in Destin, we were all drawn in by the food trucks - shorter line than these bigger seafood restaurants we were finding. A grilled cheese just sounded like a good idea so we took a glance at the menu. Who can resist ordering a sandwich called the Mac Daddy?! That's exactly what I ended up ordering and it was worth the slight wait. It's a bit heavy. But c'mon, it's Mac and cheese and butter on bread how could it not be, right? I was hoping the sandwich wouldn't be so pressed for a prettier picture... but then again it wouldn't be a grilled cheese anymore without that panini press. And it wouldn't be very easy to eat if it's falling out all over the place. It comes with a side of potato chips, which is really just a filler, tbh. CHANGE YOUR HOURS OF Operation- My partner and I walked 15 min walk from our hotel to check this place out ( I'm always anxious about time) so we check the time on how long it would be to get there and checking the time they closed. They close at "11pm" it says - on Friday - perfect it was 9:30 when we left- walked there and Oh no- it wasn't opened. I was kinda bummed not to get to try it. Maybe next time? read more

The food was amazing as always, I come back everything I'm in the area. The service was nothing to write home about, but was fast and friendly. Unfortunately there isn't much information on the internet about this place, had trouble finding hours of operation and wasn't sure if the available menu was current. read more

We visited two nights ago for dinner. I am always down to support small business so why not! I asked if the dirty south melt or dude melt was better and she told me she didn't have what she needed for the dirty south. So dude it was, no biggie. Then I asked her which bread was better and she said she only had white bread even though her board said she offered three types of bread. So, not off to a great start. I then asked how the Mac and cheese melt was. The way she replied was as if it wasn't the best which threw me aback. I still ordered it. Took almost ten minutes to receive our two sandwiches. The chips we got were plain chips but the issue was the amount. I'm pretty sure she split up a single serving bag inbetween our two plates. The dude was not flavorful at all. If you like ketchup then this is your sandwich but it did not taste like a sloppy joe at all. Well, not any sloppy joe we make by hand. The Mac was OK. It definitely was not boxed Mac and cheese which I appreciate but I wouldn't order it again. The most flavorful item we had was the pickle. DO NOT COME HERE!! you would think that with the pandemic going on that businesses would be more precautious handling food. When i walked up the worker was sitting down eating a sandwich. When she got up she did not wash her hands and then put on gloves. While preparing my food she then picked up her food and ate again with the same gloves she prepared my food with. Very unsanitary! I would rather make my own food if im going to have someone cross contaminate my food that way. read more

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, FALSE ADVERTISING, OVER PRICED! My family and I were visiting the area on 11/7/22 after 1:30pm looking thru all the food options. Light foot traffic (slow season we were told) We stopped at the Say Cheese food truck . The options look interesting and pics were promising. Well...the young girl working that day seemed more interested in her phone than answering questions and the pics are FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I placed an order, was told it would take 5mins. My family and another couple wanted to order, but the young lady never addressed them. She just worked on my sandwich for 15mins, never acknowledged them. She took a call from someone outside the truck while making the sandwich! The sandwich didn't come with the toppings advertised. I asked about this and she said they were out of GREEN PEPPERS AND ONIONS (I think she didn't want to chop/cook them AND shouldnt a customer be told before ordering?!).. My family and the other couple walked away bc they were tired of being ignored. I understand it's hard to find good help but this lady obviously didn't want to be there and didnt care about losing business. I would NEVER SUPPORT this business again! We were staying at Emerald Grande Resort nearby and we made sure to alert the staff to tell other guests to AVOID this food truck.I would hate for anyone else to go through this mess! I'm sure there are other food trucks that would be happy to have their spot and feed their customers! read more

On the 19 of April I came to get two sandwiches and the customer service was excellent, and I will tell my friends to come back.

We love experiencing different food trucks. When we saw Say Cheese walking by they were closed. About an hour later we called and they were open but because of lack of business was going to close. We said we were coming and they stayed open for us. The food and service was worth the walk back. We would eat there again in a heart beat when we come back. Bread was crispy, cheese was super melted and flavors delicious. read more

Sandwiches looked good so decided to stop by. When we walked up to the guy at the register he was on his phone and didn't even ask what we wanted. I had to just start telling him my order since he looked very busy on his PHONE. I had to repeat myself a couple of times because he was just not paying attention to my order, terrible customer service!!! I also asked to get white bread and he said there was only sour dough bread which im fine with but when I received my sandwich it was white bread ! The lady making sandwiches didn't say anything she was actually confused on why we were standing there waiting for our food until the guy in the front told her we had order something. I barely got any chips with my sandwich and they didn't even give me the pickle that comes with it. I also purchased a drink for $2.50 which they forgot to give me but once I received it it was HOT !
