Shopping around for tacos and I found this place. It's hidden but that's sometimes where you can find the good stuff! Authentic! Amazing service! Food comes out hot and as I ordered it! My regular burrito was $10, but on the photos of the menu it showed $6.50. They don't have prices on the menu in the restaurant, so maybe they charge whatever they feel like charging at that moment. The burrito was good, and had that authentic flavor. No chips served. The salsa is in condiment containers in a refrigerator and everyone just grabs it as the please and then puts it back. I probably won't be back because the burrito wasn't worth $10, and the condiment sharing is pretty gross. No hand sanitizer anywhere in the restaurant. read more

I just moved to the Woodlands and I was craving some real authentic tacos. You know they are really good tacos when they only have cilantro and onions as toppings. YES! I've been to Hello Taco which has similar offerings but the difference is the delicious meat and the flavor and for a great price. I tried the Quesadilla with Carne Asada. It was juicy and flavorful. It was also on a large flour tortilla. Yum! Of Course I had to try a taco so I ordered a carne asada taco on Corn. Wow, the tortilla tastes fresh and home made. It had that nice thickness to it, just like my mom makes. The Salsas: This is what makes or breaks a taco. If you like it spicy, try the green sauce and if you'd like a smokey flavor with a little less kick, try the red salsa in a jar. Mix the both for greatness! To Drink: Horchata for sure, not too sweet not too thick. Just right. It's a cozy setting with a cute mini-fridge to keep the salsas nice and cool. The cashier was very nice and friendly. He brought me some lime slices and salsas, such great service. It's my new local taco place. Update: I've been coming here regularly but things have changed. Things have been less and less consistent with my food. Some days the quesadilla is great and at other times the meat is flavorless and it's dripping in grease. Straight up legit. I've had the al pastor tacos, a carne asada taco, and a chicken gordita, all are awesome. The green sauce is amazing. Red sauce good too if you want less spice. Staff is sweet and seem genuinely caring. Very family feeling. I'll be good too when I get back on keto, they say they sell meat in bulk, a pound for 11, half for 6. With onions and cilantro and tortillas too I think. That's a great deal in my opinion. Edit: Had the chicken quesadilla. Also fantastic. Tip jar was not as full as I would have expected given the outstanding level of service. Tried chips w queso, tacos, tostada, and quesadilla. Precut limes are self serve. A bit of gustatory heaven. One recommendation though: consider doubling the corn tortillas as the tacos are well filled. Will be back again and again. Update: had breakfast to go this morning. Another five-star experience. Well packed. We tried five different styles of tacos each on a flour tortilla and they were perfect. The surprise hit was the guacamole. Nice and fresh with the perfect amount of lime. I suggested to one of the front counter staff to consider "café con Canela" but the coffee as presented was as good as any I've had in a while. This little place is everything we hoped it would be! Authentic tacos with homemade corn and flour tortillas. We tried all the different meats and there was literally not one we didn't like. Let me be clear - their tacos are delicious and authentic! However, the main young lady that works there needs to improve her customer service and friendliness. Every time I have been in there, she seems to have an attitude and acts put out or doesn't want to deal with any customers. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 starts was there was no ice water available. I don't want to spend money for a bottle of water when I'm already buying my meal.
