It's ok. Their breakfast items are their most popular. But a breakfast burrito was kinda price at around $8. Regular burrito was $10 but had barbacoa as meat choice which I love. Sadly no barbacoa today though. I asked about the quesabirra and asked whether it was crispy or soft. It's the latter I was told. So I passed and just decided to just try a chorizo and egg breakfast taco. I mean "taco" is in the restaurant name. The menu doesn't have prices. It's $3.25 with cash. If using card the 3% card fee is passed to the customer so it'll be higher than cash. They got green salsa which is japapeno based. And red which she said wasn't spicy. I got the red because like "taco" the phrase "red salsa" is literally in the restaurant name. The taco was ok. No wow for sure. Same with the salsa but it does have a slight kick. Enough to give me the squirts though.

I've been going to red salsa taco since I was in high school great tacos although I do know a taco spot that sells tacos For $1, if I'm near red salsa, I will buy their Barbacoa or pastor tacos. Great flavor. I really love the red and green sauce lately. They haven't been answering the phone though I don't know what that's about.

Stop in to try today. Ordered 3 asada tacos with light onions. We're very good and seasoned. Closer tacos I have had comparing to Southern Cali. Will be back to try the pozole.

I would like to share the experience I had at Red Salsa Tacos and More. They make the world's best-grilled jalapenos, and their taquitos are so delicious. My son loves their chicken quesadillas. The service is amazing. You can hear them cooking your meal fresh from the grill. The lady at the front shows how much she cares about making sure you have all you need. They even have a sign on the window, "support small business." I pray that this yelp will bring in more customers that are looking for the wonderful experience I had. Thank you, to all the staff at Red Salsa Tacos and More. We are from California where tacos are all over the place. What I mean is that you can get a taco pretty much anywhere. I have never had steak tacos that taste so good and the bean soup that comes with your meal is unforgettable. I thoroughly enjoyed each delicious bite. I also would like to compliment the how clean and comfortable it is in this restaurant. It is a cozy environment and a nice family setting. It makes you feel at home and the clientele that comes in to be served are very respectful people that seem to have been there more than once. One Sunday morning my son and I were looking for some Mexican food and we happen to find this restaurant and I can say that after eating the word at church, this is the perfect place to be fed naturally. It truly satisfied all my cravings. We tried other places and thought we had found the best, but that was before we found Red Salsa! Then one day at work, weeks later, one of my co-workers brought up Red Salsa as a good place to have dinner. It dawned on me that I had eaten here before with my son. At the time I was taking my midterms and did not have time to cook, clean, study, and then get to bed at a decent time. Red Salsa was the perfect place for pick up. I came in and they took my order, and I was on my way home. Red Salsa also has a door dash service. They deliver!! I would love to order for delivery; however, I will not get the warm welcoming experience I come into the restaurant. Just the other day I called in an order for lunch during work. The young man took my order and was very patient and kind on the phone. When I arrived at the restaurant, he was also the one at the front delivering excellent customer service. He asked my name and had my order ready for pick up. He was gentle and kind to everyone that he encountered. I can't remember having such amazing service. When I brought my lunch back to work, everyone was asking me where I went for lunch because what I brought back smelled so delicious that their mouths were watering as I ate my taquitos with grilled onion and roasted jalapenos

Mmmmmm!! Mexican girl approved!! The Asada is perfect! Came in a Gordita, the masa was perfection, taste homemade and not too thick. Charro beans delish with weenies which is old scho taco truck which I like. Kids got the quesadilla, gotta be honest, momma ate most of it! Lol certainly ordering again!

The restaurant is pretty large with a mix of warm lighting and natural light depending on where you're sitting. It seems as though they may be renovating in certain spots of the restaurant the time we visited. Our waiter Dave was friendly, attentive, informative, and efficient. The complimentary chips and salsa were good. We took advantage of their happy hour for drinks. We each had a Cadillac margarita which was pretty good. My friend and I chose the Marisco bowl. I chose the meat combo of chicken/steak and she chose the chicken Marisco bowl. My other friend had the chicken quesadillas. The food was fresh, but in my opinion lacked flavor. I loved the prices of Gringos, but did not like my dish as much. My friends enjoyed their meals. As the night went on the restaurant became full. They have complimentary ice cream and cones for dessert that patrons get themselves. When we attempted to partake, the cones were gone and the station was messy from patrons not cleaning up after themselves. I would return to this location again and try a different dish. I would also recommend this business to others for decent happy hour drinks and food.

I thought the enchiladas were solid, though my wife felt like the queso was too thick and that the chips they served with the queso were a little stale. The service was A+, very attentive and hospitable, which counts for a lot in my book. They brought out a huge statue and bass drum for someone's birthday, which we loved and thought was hilarious. Also, the house marg was excellent and I definitely recommend. Overall, a cool vibe in the restaurant and we will definitely come back. We have some friends coming in from out of town and thought that it might be a good spot to introduce them to TexMex. If your go-to is Natalita's or something like that around The Woodlands, I would definitely encourage you to give this place a shot.

To be fair, it is my own fault because I tried El Mariachi a year or two ago and thought it was gross then. However, I know everywhere deserves a second chance so I thought I'd give it another try, especially when I saw it had such a high average rating. Let me first say, service is INCREDIBLE. Truly could not ask for better. The hostess was really sweet and she stayed kind even when I could tell she was overwhelmed by all the people. We had multiple servers come by to check on us at various times and do things for us and they were all great too. Absolutely 0 staff complaints. I ordered a watermelon margarita and couldn't drink it. The syrup was completely separated from the actual drink. I left it completely full and while I didn't want to complain, I was surprised that I wasn't asked if it was okay. Had I been asked, I would've told them. My husband thought his house margarita was good, but he did order it frozen and it was already half liquid by the time he got it. The food was not good. I took one bite of my beef taco and pushed it to the side. It was essentially Taco Bell meat. No shade to Taco Bell, but if I wanted that, I would've just gone to T Bell. It sure would've been a lot cheaper. My cheese enchiladas were also not good. I asked to have sour cream sauce on top & was charged $2 for it. I wasn't told I'd be charged extra and didn't see anywhere on the menu where it said that. Even so, $2 for sauce is crazy, but $2 for sauce when the enchilada ALREADY comes with sauce on top and all you had to do was replace it?? Wild. The queso was okay. Not amazing, not bad. It's the only thing I was able to eat. Not my personal experience, but two tables in our same section had issues with their food too and had to send it back. $85 for that is crazy. I'm glad so many seem to enjoy it, but El Mariachi will never see me again.

Julio's wife, Elena, stopped by the table and checked in the food. She also told us of a wrestling event that was coming up on May 1. She was SO pleasant. Our server, Freddy, got the order in perfectly, even though there were 7 of us. The prices were reasonable. The food again was spot on. We WILL return! BTW, the watermelon margarita was wonderful! This place has become my most recent go-to when that little voice says - "pssst....Dave....Dave....i know you hear me....you want fajitas." Admittedly, I hear that voice a lot. In any case, I usually order the fajitas. They give you a decent quantity that tastes great. The meet is tender and flavorful and those tortillas had me at hello. I love this stuff! My son elects to go for the cheese enchiladas. I don't have to ask him how much he likes them because is a super picky eater and this is the one place where he actually cleans his plate. The margaritas are solid as well and when you glance around the restaurant, you'll see them on most tables. This place is a well oiled machine. There are plenty of staff and they all work unison to bring drinks / chips / salsa / refills / orders / food -- and that food usually comes out before I can feel guilty for eating chips, salsa, and queso. I found this trick that works for me. Since I 100% of the time feel guilty for leaving the place feeling so full, I started parking on the other end of the parking lot. This allows my to burn off 2.7 calories of the food that just ate so I feel 2.7 percent less guilty. On a serious note - this place is the real deal. While some of my previous favorites have either closed down or gone downhill a bit - Julio's has remained strong. ¡Salud!

The chicken flauta was good. I wasn't a fan of the beans and rice nor the Chile Relleno. The cheese is just shredded mozzarella basically not the actual cheesy find in a Chile Relleno.
