For reference I've only ordered a couple of times here. Never been to the restaurant. The first time I ordered I had a margheritta pizza which was decent. Good enough for trying another time. The second time I ordered was quite an experience. I order to one of the usual apps. And my order kept getting delayed. Fast forward to a 2hr delay By that point, I had already made a meal at home and was thinking of having the pizza for another day, if it ever arrived. Then I got a cancellation notice from the app. That is almost enough to earn my one star, but what really grinds my gears is the call from the restaurant after the cancellation. This super aggressive dude asking me if I still want my pizza, I can get it for free. I'm like OK I guess... Then the guy clarifies that he meant the delivery is free but I have to pay. Also he wants me to know that it was the app that canceled, and that the driver never came and a ton of "dog ate my homework" excuses. Not once did it occur to him mention the fact that he was 2 hours late, that if it was true that the driver never came that pizza has been literally sitting for more than an hour there, and that he had my phone number all along and could have informed me of the situation. Oh so vegan tastic!! So glad we found this small gem in Berkeley. It's hard to find Vegan good food in SF so when we can here and I switched from eating meat to go vegan, this was a wonderful spot that definitely hit the spot. I love the vegan pizzas here , they have more than just a veggie pizza. My favorite is vegan pepperoni and pineapple and the garlic vegan cheese fries but over all the food is great the people are nice and we love the owner Eden!! Yay!! It's been years since I've been here. I discovered it a while ago when I lived in the area and while passing through tonight, I just had a taste for pizza. This was the first GF / Gluten-free pizza shop I went to, I remember it being delicious and it did not disappoint tonight. Solid pizza place!! It definitely has more of that classic pizza parlour taste, which is a nice alternative from some of the more "Californian" options. I am quite particular about pizza nowadays - especially crusts - and this one was not soggy at all despite sitting in the box for a while! Not too thick or too thin. Toppings are extremely generous as you can see from the photos and everything tasted really good but also didn't put me into pizza grease coma, which is hard balance to strike. I am not gluten or dairy free so I didn't try any of those options but I think it's super cool that they have them. I might try one next time especially because some of the vegan options look pretty interesting. Tried both garden medley and margherita and both were delicious. Garden medley packed with veggies but not soggy at all, which is hard to do. Also I don't normally like olives but these ones actually tasted good. Margherita is a little different from classic with artichoke hearts (they did ask if I was ok with that) and this is a really good combination! Basil actually tasted like basil and again, great crust. I was worried pizzas might be a bit small but actually 2 small pizzas is way more than enough for 2 people. We did not finish either. With tax and tip it was ~$30 for 2, which is super reasonable! Right now they also have some outdoor seating. We've ordered pizzas for pick up several times - but the last time the owner was so kind & generous after our order had gotten mixed up through yelp. Even though it was no fault of theirs, she gifted us the mistake pizzas and was so sweet in our conversations. They have great vegan pizza options that are very creative (my ten year old likes the cauliflower & the pesto pizzas) and even their plain cheese pizza is really good! My partner and I stopped by to try this place for a quick lunch. Pleasantly surprised with the two topping individual pizza w/soda specials!! We each ordered one and both were really good and the prices were spot on!! First, you have to understand that I'm from New York and New Haven, the epicenters of thin-crust, *real* pizza. So you can write me off as an east coast pizza snob from the get-go. So major props to these guys for doing delivery. Delivery went well, happy with all that. All the people were super nice. The pizza itself is so meh. I got the original crusts in a variety of toppings for a group event and none of pizzas were what I would call good. They were mostly what I would describe as industrial pizzas -- the sort you might have gotten at your high school cafeteria or at an all you can eat buffet -- puffy chewy crusts, really skimpy on the sauce and cheese that is largely flavorless. I wish I could love them more. The phone person was wonderful, the driver was a good human (remember to tip your drivers!), and all that. But it comes down to the pizza and it was just so meh. Put it another way: a group of twenty-somethings actually left some pizza behind after we ate. So.... I give it 2 yelp stars as the pizza itself was a "meh, I've experienced better" but a +1 star for being affordable, having a delivery on time, and being super nice people. read more

Pizza is good. Given the fact that pizza and cold beer go hand in hand, they were out of half the beers on tap and brought us warm beer. We ordered the vegan bbq tofu pizza and although the concept was good, the vegan cheese is awful, would be better ordering no cheese. The place was not busy at all, one other customer, yet the staff were inattentive and playing on their phones. Hahah I had an awful experience with GrubHub delivery, but that had nothing to do with the restaurant. They delivered me a cheese pizza and of which I couldn't eat and then told me it would be 5-7 days for a refund. They the proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do to figure out where my actual order went and couldn't assist in reordering for me. But that's GrubHub. They would get zero stars from me. However, when the restaurant realized I had resubmit the same order less than an hour later, they actually gave me a phone call to see what happened. They were extremely apologetic regarding the GrubHub screw up, which put me at ease. I haven't gotten the chance to eat in the restaurant quite yet but as far as the vegan food options and customer service experience, then get five stars from me! It's actually quite dimly lit (not in a romantic way) so in the afternoon when you first walk in from outside, it's a bit dark inside. The ambiance is definitely really really chill. The total price was about $7, which wasn't bad. I was really thankful that it wasn't HUGE because I prefer eating things that I can finish. The diameter of the pizza was about the size of my hand so it was a nicely sized pizza for 1 person. The pizza itself was really tasty. They were super generous with the amount of ingredients and they tasted great! The crust wasn't super thin but it wasn't overly starchy or crusty. Anyway we get the stuffed cheese garlic bread and the stuffed crust pizza with fresh mushroom and yummy olives. Both items vegan. Same thing every time. We just can't help it. I'm pretty sure they use Teese cheeze but if they do use the horrible Daiya then they secretly sprinkle crack or something to it to make it the best stuffed crust ever. The cheese tastes like my firm mozz that I make at home. We have never had a bad pie here. But we seriously eat a piece or two a get a to go box. Then we waddle away to those buns. I go mainly for the garlic twists which are fabulous. Their happy hour deals are awesome. They have trivia night weekly and about 5-6 beers on tap. They also have bottled beers and an assortment of drinks and sodas. There are small televisions if you want to watch sports games. Vegan AND gluten-free pizza...my heaven! The first time I came, the vegan pizza (I don't remember which one I ordered) was sparse and looked quite bare, so when I came around this time, I was hoping for more....which I got! I ordered a vegan and gluten free Farmer's Market pizza with tomato sauce instead of the ranch sauce (which isn't vegan). I like that the menu is limited, because I'm a very very indecisive person, so the limited veggie options made it a ton easier. The pizza came with Daiya cheese which was melted and stretchy to perfection and the gluten free crust was from a local bakery. I thought the crust was quite good and would not have noticed that it was gluten free if I did not specify a gluten free crust. It was thin, but chewy and crispy simultaneously. The Farmer's Market pizza itself was pretty good - I still wish there were more toppings on it. It's supposed to come with eggplant, roasted garlic, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, spinach and some other good stuff, but I hardly noticed the eggplant.
