I was excited to try this place but I can make better burgers at home. It wasn't horrible but it did lack flavor. I might have come on the wrong day bc I expected more with all the good reviews. My sister got a raspberry milk shake that tasted like cough syrup. A waste of money in opinion. The restaurant itself was pretty dirty. I picked up the ketchup bottle and put it right back down bc it was slimy and crusty at the same time. Gross! We have visited a few times and it has been fantastic every time. The burger patties are made fresh ... Mostly *everything* is made fresh. This is a family friendly burger joint! Avoid lunchtime during the week unless you plan... I think many of the State/county employees eat there. If going with a group, find the menu in the photos and phone in the order. However, you must be there within 10 minutes of the food being finished. They do not have a lot of room in the back. read more

This is a weird in between fast food and a nice burger restaurant. Onion rings are some of the best I've had. Quality of the food is top notch. Another Name Change: I love this place. It makes the best cheese steaks in the area. My favorite is the Pepper cheese steak. It has a blend of sweet and hot peppers. Oh my gosh! This place is so yum! The burgers are huge! And juicy. My son ordered a double patty and it was 5 feet tall. I thought mine was good, but my husband thought his was just okay. Also, we ordered a smoothie and it wasn't made with 100% fruit so I was a bit disappointed. Made the mistake of coming 30 minutes before closing. They could not get all the food done at the same time, over cooked our rings and mushrooms. My sandwich had more onions than meat. All this and no other customers after us, no reason for it except they were more focused on closing than serving. They turned off the open signs 15 minutes before they actually closed, and were cleaning around us. I have been here for lunch a few times and the service was much better, but I have to say the prices for the portions are on the steep side. So I ultimately decided to go have a meal at red wagon, and let me tell you I regretted everything later that night. It's hard to know why people like this place. It isn't anything special, the bug buns were what you could buy at Costco. Basically you can get something grilled or something fried. I didn't find the burger to be all that inspired and the chicken strips were just fried, frozen generic stuff. Maybe the level of requirement around here isn't that high given it is Tumwater. If you want a non-fast food option for a burger it's this or Eagan's which is probably only slightly better IMHO. Definitely worth the 3 stars, not something we would likely go back to but others may find the quality of food good for their liking. read more

I had the BBQ burger and it was delicious! It's hard to find a good BBQ burger that is juicy and has the perfect amount of barbecue sauce.
