We stopped here while camping outside Tumwater. Everything was delicious. Spilt the Philly cheesesteak with my husband. It was everything I was hoping for. We also split the onion rings they were some of the best I've had in a long time. Kids got chicken strips, fish n' chips and a couple shakes. Everyone was happy and everyone ate. Ok, is this the greatest hamburger in the world? No. The burger I had today was a genuinely good one. It was moist and well prepared and piled high with all the good stuff that I love and isn't good for me. Fries were good (not great) and the ketchup came in a good size squeeze bottle and not one of those little thimbles of ketchup you usually get. Wife had deep fried fish and I think they were pretty darn good too. I would suggest they serve a tartar sauce that has a little more character. Pretty bland. C'mon ... spice it up! read more

This is a pretty legit burger joint. I've been here 3 separate times and each time I have tried something different - double cheeseburger, Philly cheesesteak and the BBQ burger. Both burgers were very tasty with the BBQ burger knocking it out of the park. Personally, I could use a few extra onion rings in there but that's just me. The cheesesteak however, left much to be desired. There was a strong taste that took away from the flavor of the steak. Hard to tell if it was from a sauce or just the seasoning they use. Either way, it wasn't for me. The fries are perfect. Super crispy but all light and fluffy inside. You can't go wrong with them but their homemade onion rings is where it's at. Last but not least, the staff has always been super friendly and it is amazingly clean inside. If you're in the area and craving a burger, this is your spot. read more

It took almost a half an hour to get my food. It was an ok bar type food but definitely nothing special. I had the whiz cheese steak. I tasted no cheez wiz, but it had a strange mayo based sauce on it. When asked they said that was the whiz. Onion rings were pretty good but came out ten minutes after we received our food. my recent trip to this place my wife want a simple cheese burger ketchup, mustard and pickles nothing else no lettuce tomato. when I got home with the burger it had only mustard ketchup and pickles but the amount of ketchup and mustard was enough for 10 burgers it had saturatedthe buns all the way throughout it was disgusting I don't know if this was a prank or a get back for ordering a burger with out lettuce and pickels. but what ever the reason the burger was un edible. I love coming here and I love thier salads, burgers and shakes. Thier fries and onion rings are so crispy and delicious. I once invited my friends and family to have my birthday dinner here and we all left full and happy. And anytime someone visits from out of town we go here atleast once before they leave. Most expensive and the WORST BLT I have ever had. Really, burnt bacon and cold bread. If you are going to charge over $7 for a BLT, you should at least toast the bread and not serve bacon left over/cold from breakfast. Yuck, will never go back! read more

Horrible service! I was in there to grab a burger to go and they were kinda busy but there was no excuse fore wat happened! It was Saturday at about 130 pm and lunch rush was winding down. I was standing in front of the register to place my order and I was completely ignored for about ten minutes before I walked out without any acknowledgement I even existed. there was about 6 to 8 people behind the counter and orders were going out but that is still unacceptable. I would expect a "hello" or a " someone will be right with you". This is the second time I gave this place a try, the first time was not good either! I will not be giving this restaurant a third try. I was a restaurant owner myself and would never tolerate this from my employees. read more

This burger joint is now called Red Wagon. The food is pretty darn good! I ordered the chicken burger and my husband got the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. My main complaint is how both our burgers were dripping, not sure if that is something that could be helped but it was very messy to try and eat. The only other thing I would want to change is that the tables are a little sticky, maybe they have an unusual cleaning method that leaves a residue? Either way, for a really good burger close to work this is the place to be! It's not fancy, just comfortable and wholesome food. Update: who cares about the sticky tables or dripping burgers. My wife and I's favorite neighborhood burger spot. Wide variety of other sandwiches and choices on the menu, although we haven't tried anything besides the burgers yet just because they are so good. Generous portion sizes with the burgers and fries, but a little skimpy on the onion rings, although they are really good. Friendly staff, cute atmosphere, quick service, delicious food, and reasonably priced. Wife and I both get combo meals and it's usually less then $20. What more could you ask for? read more

This place is terrible. The owner is sheisty and made us drive ALL the way back to refund our food. The order was made wrong not only once, but when fixed was also wrong and came back completely burnt and rubbery. The milkshakes were made "twice" because they were soupy and their solution was to store in the fridge while we waited a whopping 45 MINUTES to even get our food when there were a total of 3 other people in there. Although the burgers are fresh and delicious I have had a terrible experience here with them undercooking the burgers on more than one occasion. I order to go a lot because I have kids and my youngest has no manners, so when they mess up the burgers it's kind of a big deal to drive all the way back. But otherwise as long as it's all cooked right the food is pretty good. read more

Without a doubt the best burger joint around. Period. Great fries, rings, philly cheesesteak, and very good shake. Shake was a tad pricey at 4.75, but it was good. Fresh angus beef is what they advertise and my burger was huge. I actually couldn't eat it all and that's rare for this fat dude. Wife and daughter loved it too. We've tried all the burger joints around Lacey and this will be our favorite now. Not cheap as we paid $40 for the three of us but i had a shake so that was a bit extra as were the onion rings the mrs had. Much rather pay a bit more and leave fat(ter) and happy. read more

Just absolute heat. Burgers were fresh and perfectly grilled. Crisp veggies, bun toasted just right, pretty much 10/10 for a burger, and Ive had easily over 1000 different burgers. Wifey got the grilled chicken sandwich and again they came with a slab of chicken, super fresh and moist from a perfect char. Great ripeness on the avocado for the middle of November. Add in cheery customer service and your playing yourself if you dont eat her in Tumwater. read more
